yudhishthir ne poochha- janardan! manishi purush dharm ko anekoan prakar ka aur bahut-se dvar vala batalate haian. vastav mean usaka lakshan kya hai? yah mujhe batane ki kripa karean. shribhagavan ne kaha- rajan! tum dharm aur shauch ki vidhi ka kram suno. rajenhdr! ahiansa, shauch, krodh ka abhav, koohrata ka abhav, dam, sham aur saralata- ye dharm ke nishhchit lakshan haian. brahmachary, tapasya, kshama, madhu-maans ka thyag, dharm-maryada ke bhitar rahana aur man ko vash mean rakhana- ye sab shauch (pavitrata) ke lakshan haian. manushhy ko chahiye ki vah bachapan mean vidyadhhyayan kare, yuvavashtha hone par shtri ke sath vivah kare aur budhape mean munivrithti ka ashray le evan dharm ka acharan sada hi sab avashthaoan mean karata rahe. brahmanoan ka apaman n kare, gurujanoan ki ninhda n kare aur sanhyasi mahathmaoan ke anukool bartav kare- yah sanatan dharm hai. brahmanoan ka guru sanhyasi hai, charoan varnoan ka guru brahman hai, samasht shtriyoan ke liye guru unaka pati hai aur sabaka guru raja hai. sanhyasi ek danhd dharan karane vala ho ya tin danhd, b di-b di jataean rakhata ho ya matha muandaye rahata ho athava gerua vashtr pahanane vala ho, ni:sandeh usaka sathkar karana chahiye. isaliye jo paralok mean apana kalhyan chahate hoan, un purushoan ko uchit hai ki vah mujhamean samasht karmoan ka aparn karane vale mere sharanagat bhakhtoan ka yatnapoorvak sathkar karean. brahmanoan par hath n chho de aur gay ko kabhi n mare. jo brahman in donoan par prahar karata hai, use bhroon hathya ke saman pap lagata hai. aghni ko muanh se n phooanke, pairoan ko ag par n tapave aur ag ko pairoan se n kuchale tatha pith ki or se aghni ka sevan n kare. jo manushhy kuthte ya chanhdal se chhoo gaya ho, use apana aang aghni mean nahian tapana chahiye; khyoanki aghni sarvadevataroop hai. at: sada shuddh hokar usaka shparsh karana chahiye. mal ya mootr ki hajat hone par buddhiman purush ko aghni ka shparsh nahian karana chahiye, khyoanki jab tak yah mal-mootr ka veg dharan karata hai, tab tak ashuddh rahata hai. yudhishthir ne poochha- janardan! jinako dan dene se mahan phal ki praphti hoti hai, ve shreshhth brahman kaise hote haian tatha kis prakar ke brahmanoan ko dan dena chahiye? yah mujhe bataiye. shribhagavan ne kaha- rajan! jo krodh n karane vale, sathyaparayan, sada dharm mean lage rahane vale or jitenhdriy hoan, ve hi shreshhth brahman haian tatha unhhian ko dan dene se mahan phal ki praphti hoti hai. jo abhiman shoonhy, sab kuchh sahane vale, shashtriy arth ke jnata, inhdriyajayi, samhpoorn praniyoan ke hitakari, sabake sath maitri ka bhav rakhane vale haian, unako diya hua dan mahan phaladayak hai. jo nirlobh, pavitr, vidvan, sankochi, sathyavadi aur shvadharmaparayan hoan, unako diya hua dan mahan phal ki praphti karane vala hota hai. jo pratidin aangoan sahit charoan vedoan ka shvadhhyay karata ho aur usake udar mean shoodr ka anhn n p da ho, usako rrishiyoan ne dan uttam patr mana hai. yudhishhthir! yadi shuddh buddhi, shashtriy jnan, sadachar aur uttam shil se yukht ek brahman bhi dan grahan kar le vah data ke samasht kul ka uddhar kar deta hai. aise brahman ko gay, gho da, anhn aur dhan dena chahiye. sathpurushoan dvara samhmanit kisi gunavan brahman ka nam sunakar use door se bhi bulana aur prayathnapoorvak usaka sathkar tatha poojan karana chahiye. yudhishhthir ne kaha- deveshhvar! dharm aur adharm ki is vidhi ka bhishhm ji ne vishtar ke sath varnan kiya tha. ap unake vachanoan se sabhoot dharm chhaantakar batalaiye. |
