shiv ka sati ke shav ko lekar shokavash samast lokoan ka bhraman, bhagavan vishnu ka unhean samajhana aur prakriti ki stuti ke liye kahana, shiv dvara ki huee stuti se santusht huee prakritiroopini sati ka shiv ko darshan evan santvana dena shri narayan kahate haian– narad! tadanantar mahadev ji ne gangaji ke tat par soyi huee durgasvaroopa sati ki manohar moorti dekhi, jisake mukharavind ki kanti abhi malin nahian huee thi. vah sharir par shvet vastr dharan kiye aur hath mean akshamala liye divy tej se prakashit ho rahi thi. usake aangoan ke tapaye hue suvarn ki-si kamaniy kanti phail rahi thi. sati ke us pranahin sharir ko dekhakar bhagavan shiv virah ki ag se jalane lage. ve moortiman tattvarashi hone par bhi sati ke viyog mean kabhi moorchchhit, kabhi chetan hote hue bhaanti-bhaanti se vilap karane lage. tadanantar unake svarnapratim mrit deh ko vaksh par dharan karake saptadvip, lokalok parvat tatha saptasindhu mean bhraman karate hue bharat mean shatashrriang-giri ke pas jamboodvip mean nirjan pradeshasth akshayavat ke niche nadi tir par pahuanche. vahaan se mahayogi shankar viraha kulachitt hokar poore ek varsh tak prithvi par paribhraman karate rahe. sati devi ke us mrit deh ke aang-pratyang jis-jis sthan par gire, ve sthan kamanaprad siddhapith ho gaye. tadanantar shankar ne sati ke avashisht aangoan ka sanskar kiya. asthiyoan ki mala gooanthakar use apana kanthabhooshan bana liya aur pratidin sati ka sharir-bhasm apane sharir par lagane lage. isake bad ve nishchesht-se hokar ek vatamool mean p d gaye. tab lakshmi poojit bhagavan narayan apane parshadoan, devataoan aur rrishi-muniyoan ke sath vahaan padharakar shri shankar ko god mean lekar unhean samajhane lage. shri bhagavan ne kaha– svatmaram shiv! meri bat suno aur us par dhyan do. vah hitakarak, adhyatmajnan ka sar, duahkh-shok ka nash karane vali tatha sampoorn adhyatmajnan ka vidyaman bij hai. yadyapi tum svayan jnan ki nidhi, vidhi, sarvajn tatha srashtaoan ke bhi srashta ho, tathapi maian tumhean jnan ka upadesh de raha hooan. pran-sankat ke samay vidvan purush vidvan ko bhi samajha sakata hai. lok mean yah vyavahar hai ki sab log sabako paraspar samajhate-bujhate haian. shambho! maheshvar! durdin mean duahkh shok aur bhay ki prapti hoti hai. jab durdin bit jata aur sudin a jata hai, tab unaki prapti kaise ho sakati hai? us samay to harsh aur aishvary vishayak darp ki hi nirantar vriddhi hoti hai; parantu vidvan purush in sabako svapn ki bhaanti mithya samajhate haian. mahadev! tum jnan ki utpatti ke karan tatha sanatan ho. jnan prapt karo– apane svaroop ka smaran karo. tumhara kalyan ho, tum sachet hoo– hosh mean ao. nishchay hi tumhean sati ki prapti hogi. jaise shitalata jal ko, dahika shakti agni ko, tej soory ko tatha gandh prithvi ko kabhi nahian chho dati hai; usi tarah sati tumhean chho dakar alag nahian rah sakati hai. |
