jati aur sambandh ka nirnay
tadanantar sauti ne munishreshth balakhilyadi, brihaspati, utathy, parashar, vishrava, kuber, ravan, kumbhakarn, mahatma vibhishan, vatsy, shandily, savarni, kashyap tatha bharadvaj adi ki; brahman, kshatriy, vaishy, shoodr aur anekanek varnasankar jatiyoan ki utpatti ke prasang sunakar kaha– ashvini kumar ke dvara ek brahmani ke garbh se putr ki utpatti huee. isase us brahmani ke pati ne putr sahit patni ka tyag kar diya. brahmani duahkhit ho yog ke dvara deh tyag kar godavari nam ki nadi ho gayi. sooryanandan ashvini kumar svayan us putr ko yatnapoorvak chikitsa-shastr, nana prakar ke shilp tatha mantr padhaye, kiantu vah brahman nirantar nakshatroan ki ganana karane aur vetan lene se vaidik dharm se bhrasht ho is bhootal par ganak ho gaya. us lobhi brahman ne grahan ke samay tatha mritakoan ke dan lene ke samay shoodroan se bhi agradan grahan kiya tha; isaliye ‘agradani’ hua.
ek purush kisi brahman yajn mean yajnakund se prakat hua. vah dharmavakta 'soot' kahalaya. vahi ham logoan ka poorvapurush mana gaya hai. kripanidhan brahma ji ne use puran padhaya. is prakar yajnakund se utpann soot puranoan ka vakta hua. soot ke viry aur vaishya ke garbh se ek purush ki utpatti huee, jo atyant vakta tha. lok mean usaki bhatt (bhat) sanjna huee. vah sabhi ke liye stuti path karata hai.
yah maianne bhootal par jo jatiyaan haian, unake nirnay ke vishay mean kuchh batean batayi haian. varnasankar-dosh se aur bhi bahut-si jatiyaan ho gayi haian. sabhi jatiyoan mean jinaka jinake sath sarvatha sambandh hai, unake vishay mean maian vedokt tattv ka varnan karata hooan– jaisa ki poorvakal mean brahma ji ne kaha tha. pita, tat aur janak – ye shabd janmadata ke arth mean prayukt hote haian.
amba, mata, janani aur prasoo – inaka prayog garbhadharini ke arth mean hota hai. pita ke pita ko pitamah kahate haian aur pitamah ke pita ko prapitamah. inase oopar ke jo kutumbijan haian, unhean sagotr kaha gaya hai. mata ke pita ko matamah kahate haian, matamah ke pita ki sanjna pramatamah hai aur pramatamah ke pita ko vriddhapramatamah kaha gaya hai. pita ki mata ko pitamahi aur pitamahi ki sas ko prapitamahi kahate haian. prapitamahi ki sas ko vriddhaprapitamahi janana chahiye.
