nandababa ne kaha- "beta! bhagavan indr varsha karane vale meghoan ke svami haian. ye megh unhian ke apane roop haian. ve samast praniyoan ko tript karane vala evan jivanadan karane val jal barasate haian. mere pyare putr! ham aur doosare log bhi unhian meghapati bhagavan indr ki yajnoan dvara pooja kiya karate haian. jin samagriyoan se yajn hota hai, ve bhi unake barasaye hue shaktishali jal se hi utpann hoti haian. unaka yajn karane ke bad jo kuchh bach rahata hai, usi ann se ham sab manushy arth, dharm aur kamaroop trivarg ki siddhi ke liye apana jivan-nirvah karate haian. manushyoan ke kheti adi prayatnoan ke phal dene vale indr hi haian. yah dharm hamari kulaparampara se chala aya hai. jo manushy kam, lobh, bhay athava dveshavash aise paramparagat dharm ko chho d deta hai, usaka kabhi mangal nahian hota.

shrishukadevaji kahate haian- parikshit! brahma, shankar adi ke bhi shasan karane vale keshav bhagavan ne nandababa aur doosare brajavasiyoan ki bat sunakar indr ko krodh dilane ke liye apane pita nandababa se kaha. shribhagavan ne kaha- "pitaji! prani apane karm ke anusar hi paida hota hota aur karm se hi mar jata hai. use usake karm ke anusar hi sukh-duahkh, bhay aur mangal ke nimittoan ki prapti hoti hai. yadi karmoan ko hi sab kuchh n manakar unase bhinn jivoan ke karm ka phal dene vala eeshvar mana bhi jay to vah karm karane valoan ko hi unake karm ke anusar phal de sakata hai. karm n karane valoan par usaki prabhuta nahian chal sakati.

jab sab prani apane-apane karmoan ka hi phal bhog rahe haian, tab hamean indr ki kya avashyakata hai? pitaji! jab ve poorvasanskar ke anusar prapt hone vale manushyoan ke karm-phal ko badal hi nahian sakate, tab unase prayojan? manushy apane svabhav (poorv-sanskaroan) ke adhin hai. vah usi ka anusaran karata hai. yahaan tak ki devata, asur, manushy adi ko liye hue yah sara jagat svabhav mean hi sthit hai. jiv apane karmoan ke anusar uttam aur adham shariroan ko grahan karata aur chho data rahata hai. apane karmoan ke anusar hi ‘yah shatru hai, yah mitr hai, yah udasin hai’-aisa vyavahar karata hai. kahaan tak kahooan, karm hi guru hai aur karm hi eeshvar. isaliye pitaji! manushy ko chahiye ki poorv-sanskaroan ke anusar apane varn tatha ashram ke anukool dharmoan ka palan karata hua karm ka hi adar kare. jisake dvara manushy ki jivika sugamata se chalati hai, vahi usaka ishtadev hota hai. jaise apane vivahit pati ko chho dakar jar pati ka sevan karane vali vyabhicharini stri kabhi shantilabh nahian karati, vaise hi jo manushy apani ajivika chalane vale ek devata ko chho dakar kisi doosare ki upasana karate haian, usase unhean kabhi sukh nahian milata. brahman vedoan ke adhyayan-adhyapan se, kshatriy prithvipalan se, vaishy vartavritti se aur shoodr brahman, kshatriy aur vaishyoan ki seva se apani jivik ka nirvah karean. vaishyoan ki vartavritti char prakar ki hai-

ham log un charoan mean se ek keval gopalan hi sada se karate aye haian. pitaji! is sansar ki sthiti, utpatti aur ant ke karan kramashah sattvagun, rajogun aur tamogun haian. yah vividh prakar ka sampoorn jagat stri-purush ke sayog se rajogun ke dvara utpann hota hai. usi rajogun ki prerana se meghagan sab kahian jal barasate haian. usi se ann aur ann se hi sab jivoan ki jivika chalati hai. isamean bhala indr ka kya lena-dena hai? vah bhala, kya kar sakata hai?

pitaji! n to hamare pas kisi desh ka rajy hai aur n to b de-b de nagar hi hamare adhin haian. hamare pas gaanv ya ghar bhi nahian haian. ham to sada se vanavasi haian, van aur paha d hi hamare ghar haian. isaliye ham log gauoan, brahmanoan aur giriraj ka yajan karane ki taiyari karean. indr-yajn ke liye jo samagriyaan ikatthi ki gayi haian, unhian se is yajn ka anushthan hone hone dean. anekoan prakar ke pakavan- khir, halava, pua, poori adi se lekar mooang ki dal tak banaye jayan. braj ka sara doodh ekatr kar liya jay. vedavadi brahmanoan ke dvara bhali-bhaanti havan karavaya jay tatha unhean anekoan prakar ke ann, gauean aur dakshinaean di jayan. aur bhi, chandal, patit tatha kuttoan tak ko yathayogy vastuean dekar gayoan ko chara diya jay aur phir giriraj ko bhog lagaya jay. isake bad khoob prasad kha-pikar, sundar-sundar vastr pahanakar gahanoan se saj-saja liya jay aur chandan lagakar gau, brahman, agni tatha giriraj govardhan ki pradakshina ki jay. pitaji! meri to aisi hi sampatti hai. yadi ap-logoan ko ruche to aisa hi kijiye. aisa yajn gau, brahman aur giriraj ko to priy hoga hi; mujhe bhi bahut priy hai.

shrishukadevaji kahate haian- parikshit! kalatma bhagavan ki ichchha thi ki indr ka ghamand choor-choor kar dean. nandababa adi gopoan ne unaki bat sunakar b di prasannata se svikar kar li. bhagavan shrikrishn ne jis prakar ka yajn karane ko kaha tha, vaisa hi yajn unhoanne prarambh kiya. pahale brahmanoan se svastivachan karakar usi samagri se giriraj aur brahmanoan ko sadar bheante dian tatha gauoan ko hari-hari ghas khilayian. isake bad nandababa adi gopoan ne gauoan ko age karake giriraj ki pradakshina ki. brahmanoan ka ashirvad prapt karake ve aur gopiyaan bhali-bhaanti shrriangar karake aur bailoan se juti ga diyoan par savar hokar bhagavan shrikrishn ki lilaoan ka gan karati huee giriraj ki parikrama karane lagian. bhagavan shrikrishn gopoan ko vishvas dilane ke liye giriraj ke oopar ek doosara vishal sharir dharan karake prakat ho gaye, tatha "maian giriraj hooan". is prakar kahate hue sari samagri arogane lage.

bhagavan shrikrishn ne apane us svaroop ko doosare brajavasiyoan ke sath svayan bhi pranam kiya aur kahane lage- "dekho, kaisa ashchary hai! giriraj ne sakshat prakat hokar ham par kripa ki hai. ye chahe jaisa roop dharan kar sakate haian. jo vanavasi jiv inaka niradar karate haian, unhean ye nasht kar dalate haian. ao, apana aur gauoan ka kalyan karane ke liye in giriraj ko ham namaskar karean." is prakar bhagavan shrikrishn ki prerana se nandababa adi b de-b de gopoan ne giriraj, gau aur brahmanoan ka vidhipoorvak poojan kiya tatha phir shrikrishn ke sath sab braj mean laut aye.
