rani ratnavati bhagavan ki b di bhakt thian. unaka man sadagun aur sadvicharoan se susajjit tha. pati-charanoan mean unaka b da prem tha. ratnavati ka svabhav b da madhur tha. dasiyoan ke sath bhi madhur vyavahar karati thi. vah thik se samajhati thi, manati thi ki ham jisase vyavahar karate haian vah koee mashin nahian hai, manushy hai. use bhi saantvana chahie, sahanubhooti chahie, pyar chahie. apane madhur vyavahar se, madhur vani se, badhiya acharan se sare mahal mean adaraniy sthan prapt kar chuki thi. dasiyaan bhi usake prati b da adar-bhav rakhati thian.

aanber ke prasiddh maharaja manasianh ji ke chhote bhaee ka nam raja madhosianh tha. inaki pathni ka nam tha ratnavati. ratnavati ka vadan jaisa sunhdar tha, vaisa hi unaka man bhi sadagun aur sadvicharoan se susajjit tha. pati-charanoan mean unaka b da prem tha. shvabhav itana madhur aur pavitr tha ki jo koee unase bat karata, vahi unake prati shraddha karane lagata. mahal ki dasiyaan to unake sadavhyavahar se mughdh hokar unhhean sakshat janani samajhatian.[1]

ratnavati ji ke mahal mean ek dasi b di hi bhaktimati thi. bhagavan apane premiyoan ke samane lila-prakash karane mean sankoch nahian karate. vah bhaghyavati punhyashila dasi bhi aisi hi ek pavitr premika thi. akhil rasamrit sinhdhu bhagavan usake samane bhaanti-bhaanti ki lila karake use ananhd-samudr mean dubaye rakhate the. rani ka hriday usaki or khiancha. ve bar-bar usaki is lokottar avashtha ko dekhane ki cheshhta karatian, dekhate-dekhate rani ke man mean bhi prem uthpanhn hone laga. hamare sharir ke aandar hriday mean jis prakar ke vicharoan ke paramanu bhare rahate haian, usi prakar ke paramanu shvabhavik hi hamare rom-rom se sada bahar nikalate rahate haian. papi vichar vale manushhyoan ke sharir se pap ke paramanu, punhyathma ke sharir se punhy ke, jnaniyoan ke sharir se jnan ke aur premi bhaktoan ke sharir se prem ke. ye paramanu apani shakti ke taratamhy ke anusar anukool athava pratikool vayumanhdal ke anuroop bahar phailate haian aur us vatavaran mean jo kuchh bhi hota hai, sab par apana asar dalate haian. yah niyam ki bat hai. aur jinake aandar jo bhav-paramanu adhik matra mean aur adhik ghane hote haian, unake aandar se ve adhik nikalate haian aur adhik prabhavashali hote haian. us premamayi dasi ka hriday pavitr prem se bhara tha. bhara hi nahian tha, usamean prem ki badh a gayi thi. prem usamean samata nahian tha. barabas bahar nikala jata tha. us prem ne rani par apana prabhav jamaya. ek din dasi ke muanh se b di hi vhyakulata se bhari ‘he navalakishor ! he nanhdananhdan ! he vrajachanhdr !’ ki pukar sunakar rani bhi vhyakul ho gayian. unhhean is durlabh dasha ko pakar b da hi ananhd mila.
ab to rani us dasi ke pichhe p d gayian aur usase bar-bar poochhane lagian ki ‘bata, tujhe yah prem kaise prapht hua? bhagavan ke nam mean itana madhury toone kaise bhar diya? aha, kitana jadoo hai un namoan mean ! maian tere muanh se jab ‘ha nanhdananhdan !’ ‘ha vrajachanhdr !’ sunati hooan, tab deh ki sudhi bhool jati hooan, mera hriday barabas un madhur namoan ki or khianch jata hai aur aankhoan se aansoo nikal p date haian. bata, bata, mujhako yah madhuri niranhtar kaise milegi, maian kaise unaki mohini moorti dekh sakooangi. jinake namoan mean itana akarshan hai, itana madhury hai aur itana ras bhara hua hai- bata, maian unhhean kaise dekh paooangi? aur kaise unaki madhur murali sun sakooangi? mujhe bhagavan ke prem ka vah rahashy batala, jisamean too niranhtar doobi rahati hai aur jisake ek kan ka door se darshan karake hi meri aisi dasha ho chali hai.'

yah sab sunakar rani ratnavati ki uthkanhtha aur bhi badh gayi. ve b de agrah se shrikrishhn-prem ka rahashy poochhane lagian. akhir, unake man mean bhog-vairaghy dekhakar tatha unhhean adhikari janakar shrikrishhn-prem mean doobi huee dasi ne unhhean shrikrishhn-prem ka durlabh upadesh kiya.

‘kachhuk upay kijai, mohan dikhay dijai,
tab hi to jijai, ve to ani ur are haian!’
‘kuchh upay karo, mujhe mohan ke darshan karao; tabhi yah jivan rahega. ah ! ve mere hriday mean akar a d gaye haian.'
dasi ne kaha- "maharani ! darshan sahaj nahian hai, jo log raj chho dakar dhool mean lut p date haian tatha anekoan upay karate haian, ve bhi us roop madhuri ke darshan nahian pate. haan, unhhean vash mean karane ka ek upay hai- vah hai prem. ap chahean to prem se unhhean apane vash mean kar sakati haian.'
rani ke man mean janch gaya tha ki bhagavan se badhakar moolhyavan vashtu aur kuchh bhi nahian hai. is lok aur paralok ka sab kuchh dene par bhi yadi bhagavan mil jayan to bahut saste hi milate haian. jisake man me yah nishhchay ho jata hai ki shrihari amoolhy nidhi haian aur ve hi mere param priyatam haian, vah unake liye kaun-se thyag ko b di bat samajhata hai. vah tan-man, bhog-moksh sab kuchh samarpan karake bhi yahi samajhata hai ki mere pas dene ko hai hi khya aur vashtav mean bat bhi aisi hi hai. bhagavan tan-man, sadhan-prayathn ya bhog-moksh ke badale mean tho de hi mil sakate haian. ve to kripa karake hi apane darshan dete haian aur kripa ka anubhav unhhian ko hota hai, jo sansar ke bhogoan ko tuchhchh samajhakar keval unhhian se prem karana chahate haian. rani ratnavati ke man mean yah prem ka bhav kuchh-kuchh jag utha. unhhoanne dasi-guru ki anumati ke anusar nilam ka ek sunhdar vigrah banakar tan-man-dhan se usaki seva aramhbh ki. ve ab jagrat, shvaphn donoan hi sthitiyoan mean bhagavathprem ka apoorv ananhd lootane lagian. rajarani bhog se muanh mo dakar bhagavathprem ke pavan path par chal p dian. ek ke sath doosari sajatiy vashtu ap hi ati hai. bhajan ke sath-sath sant-samagam bhi hone laga. sahaj kripalu mahathma log bhi kabhi-kabhi darshan dene lage.
ek bar ek pahuanche hue premi mahathma padhare. ve vairaghy ki moorti the aur bhagavathprem mean jhoom rahe the. rani ke man mean aya, mera ranipan sathsang mean b da badhak ho raha hai. parantu yah ranipan hai to aropit hi n? yah mera shvaroop to hai hi nahian, phir ise maian pak de rahooan aur apane marg mean ek b di badha rahane dooan? unhhoanne dasi-guru se poochha- "bhala, batao to mere in aangoan mean kaun-sa aang rani hai, jisake karan mujhe sathsang ke mahan sukh se vimukh rahana p data hai?" dasi ne musakara diya. rani ne aj pad-maryada ka baandh to d diya. dasi ne roka- parantu vah nahian mani. jakar mahathma ke darshan kiye aur sathsang se labh uthaya.
raja ka krodh
raj-parivar mean charcha hone lagi. ratnavati ji ke shvami raja madho sianh dilhli the. mantriyoan ne unhhean patr likha ki ‘rani kul ki lajhja-maryada chho dakar modoan ki[2] bhi d mean ja baithi hai.' patr madho sianh ke pas pahuancha. padhate hi unake tan-man mean ag-si lag gayi. aankhean lal ho gayian. sharir krodh se kaanpane laga. daivayog se ratnavati ji ke garbh se uthpanhn raja madho sianh ka putr kuanvar prem sianh vahaan a pahuancha aur usane pita ke charanoan mean sir tekakar pranam kiya. prem sianh par bhi mata ka kuchh asar tha. usake lalat par tilak aur gale mean tulasi ki mala shobha pa rahi thi. ek to raja ko krodh ho hi raha tha, phir putr ko is prakar ke vesh mean dekhakar to unako bahut hi kshobh hua. raja ne avajna bhare shabhdoan mean tirashkar karate hue kaha, ‘av modi ka’- ‘sadhuni ke l dake a.' pita ki bhav-bhangi dekhakar aur unaki tirashkarayukt vani sunakar rajakumar bahut hi du:khi hua aur chupachap vahaan se chala gaya.
logoan se poochhane par pita ki narajagi ka prem sianh ko pata laga. prem sianh sanshkari balak tha. usake hriday mean poorv janhm ki bhakti ke bhav the aur thi mata ki shiksha. usane vichara- ‘pita ji ne bahut uttam ashirvad diya, jo mujhe ‘modi ka l daka’ kaha. ab to maian sachamuch modi ka l daka moda (sadhu) hi banooanga.' yah sochakar vah mata ki bhaktipoorn bhavana par b da hi prasanhn hua aur usi kshan usane mata ko patr likha-
‘mata ji ! tum dhanhy ho, jo tumhhare hriday mean bhagavan ki bhakti jagrat huee hai aur tumhhara man bhagavan ki or laga hai. bhagavan ki b di kripa se hi aisa hota hai. ab to is bhakti ko sarvatha sachhchi bhakti banakar hi chho do. pran chale jayan, par tek n jay. pita ji ne aj mujhe ‘modi ka l daka’ kaha hai. atev ab maian sachamuch modi ka hi putr banana aur rahana chahata hooan. dekho, meri yah prarthana vhyarth n jay.'
patr padhate hi rani ko premavesh ho gaya. ah ! sachhcha putr to vahi hai jo apani mata ko shri bhagavan ki or jane ke liye prerana karata hai aur usamean utsah bharata hai! ve prem ke path par to chadh hi chuki thian. aj se rajavesh chho d diya, rajasi gahane-kap de utar diye, itr-phulel ka thyag kar diya aur sadi poshak mean rahakar bhajan-kirtan karane lagian. putr ko likh diya- ‘bhee modi aj, tum hit kari jaanchiyo.' ‘maian aj sachamuch modi ho gayi hooan, prem se akar jaanch lo.'
kuanar prem sianh ko patr milate hi vah ananhd se nach utha. bat raja madho sianh tak pahuanchi, unhhean b da kshobh hua aur ve putr ko marane ke liye taiyar ho gaye. mantriyoan ne madho sianh ko bahut samajhaya, parantu vah nahian mana. idhar prem sianh ko bhi kshobh ho gaya. akhir logoan ne donoan ko samajha-bujhakar shanht kiya; paranhtu raja madho sianh ke man mean rani ke prati jo krodh tha, vah shanht nahian hua. ve rani ko mar dalane ke vichar se rat ko hi dilhli se chal diye. ve aanber pahuanche aur logoan se mile. logoan ne rani ki batean sunayian. rani ke virodhiyoan ne kuchh badhakar kaha, jisase madho sianh ka kshobh aur bhi badh gaya.
madho sianh ka kuchakr
kee kuchakriyoan se milakar madho sianh rani ko marane ki tarakib sochane lage. akhir shadayantrakariyoan ne yah nishhchay kiya ki pianjare mean jo sianh hai, use le jakar rani ke mahal mean chho d diya jay. sianh rani ko mar dalega, tab sianh ko pak dakar yah bat phaila di jayagi ki sianh pianjare se chhoot gaya tha, isase yah durghatana ho gayi. nishhchay ke anusar hi kam kiya gaya, mahal mean sianh chho d diya gaya. rani us samay poora kar rahi thian; dasi ne sianh ko dekhate hi pukarakar kaha- ‘dekhiye, sianh aya.'
- bhagavan ki lila
rani ki sthiti b di vichitr thi, hriday ananhd se bhara tha, netroan mean anurag ke aansoo the, indriyaan tamam seva mean lagi thian. unhhoanne suna hi nahian. itane mean sianh kuchh samip a gaya, dasi ne phir pukarakar kaha- ‘rani ji ! sianh a gaya.' rani ne b di shanti se kaha, ‘b de hi ananhd ki bat hai, aj mere b de bhaghy se mere prahlad ke shvami shri nrisianh ji padhare haian; aiye, inaki pooja karean.' itana kahakar rani pooja ki samagri lekar b de hi samhman ke sath pooja karane dau dian. sianh samip a hi gaya tha; parantu ab vah sianh nahian tha. ratnavati ji ke samane to sakshat nrisianh ji upasthit the. rani ne b de hi sunhdar, manohar aur akarshak roop mean param shobha-samhpanhn bhagavan nrisianhadev ke darshan kiye. unhhoanne pranam karake pady-arghhy diya, mala pahanayi, tilak diya, dhoop-dip kiya, bhog lagaya aur pranam-arati karake ve unaki shtuti karane lagian.
kuchh hi kshanoan bad sianharoop prabhu mahal se nikale aur jo log pianjara lekar ratnavati ji ko sianh se maravane aye the, sianharoop prabhu ne bat-ki-bat mean unako paralok pahuancha diya aur shvayan mamooli sianh banakar pianjare mean pravesh kar gaye.
lagoan ne dau dakar raja madho sianh ko soochana di ki ‘rani ne shrinrisianh bhagavan manakar sianh ki pooja ki, sianh ne unaki pooja shvikar kar li aur bahar akar adamiyoan ko mar dala; rani ab ananhd se baithi bhajan kar rahi haian.'
ab to madho sianh ki aankhean khulian. bhakt ka gaurav unake dhhyan mean aya. sari durbhavana kshanabhar mean nashht ho gayi. raja dau dakar mahal mean aye aur pranam karane lage. rani bhagavathseva mean talhlin thian. dasi ne kaha- "maharaj pranam kar rahe haian." tab rani ne idhar dhhyan diya aur ve bolian ki ‘maharaj shrinanhdalal ji ko pranam kar rahe haian.' rani ki drishti bhagavan mean g di huee thi. raja ne namrata se kaha- "ek bar meri or to dekho.' rani bolian- "maharaj ! khya karooan, ye aankhean idhar se hatati hi nahian; maian bebas hooan." raja bole- "sara raj aur dhan tumhhara hai, tum jaise chaho, ise kam mean lao." rani ne kaha- "shvamin ! mera to ekamatr dhan ye mere shhyamasunhdar haian, mujhe inake sath b da hi ananhd milata hai. ap mujhako inhhian mean lagi rahane dijiye."
raja prem aur ananhd mean gadgad ho gaye aur rani ki bhakti ke prabhav se unaka chitt bhi bhagavan ki or khianchane laga. jinaki aisi bhakt pathni ho, unapar bhagavan ki kripa khyoan n ho! ghar mean ek bhi bhakt hota hai to vah kul ko tar deta hai.
- ek samay maharaja man sianh apane chhote bhaee madho sianh ke sath kisi b di bhari nadi ko nav se par kar rahe the. toophan a gaya, nav doobane lagi. man sianh ji ne ghabarakar kaha- "bhaee ! ab to bachane ka koee upay nahian hai." madho sianh bole- "apaki anuj vadhoo arthat meri pathni b di bhakta hai, usaki kripa se ham log par ho jayange." donoan ne rani ratnavati ka dhhyan kiya. jadoo ki tarah nav kinare lag gayi. donoan bhaee naya janhm pakar ananhdamaghn ho gaye. yah to mamooli nav thi aur nadi bhi mamooli hi thi. bhagavan ke sachhche bhakt ka ashray karake to b de-se-b da papi manushhy bat-ki-bat mean dushtar bhavasagar se tar ja sakata hai. vishhvas hona chahiye.
ab to man sianh ji ke man mean rani ke darshan ki lalasa jag uthi, akar unhhoanne darshan kiya! rani ka jivan premamay ho gaya. vah apane priyatam shhyamasunhdar ke sath ghul mil gayian.[1]
