vasishth se janak ka anurodh

janak ne poochha- munishreshh‍th! apane kshar ko anek roop aur akshar ko ekaroop bataya; kiantu in donoan ke tattv ka jo nirnay kiya gaya hai, use maian ab bhi sandeh ki drishti se hi dekhata hooan. nishh‍pap maharshe! jise ajnani purush (anek roopamean) aur jnani purush ek roop mean janate haian, us paramath‍ma ka tath‍v maian apani sh‍thool buddhi ke karan samajh nahian pata hooan. mere us kathan mean tanik bhi sanshay nahian hai. anagh! yadyip apane kshar aur akshar ko samajhane ke liye anek prakar ki yuktiyaan batayi haian tathapi meri buddhi asthir hone ke karan maian un sari yuktiyoan ko mano bhool gaya hooan. isaliye is nanath‍v aur ekath‍v–roop darshan ko maian pun: sunana chahata hooan. buddh (jnanavanh) kh‍ya hai? apratibuddh (jnanahin) kh‍ya hai? tatha buddhayaman (jney) kh‍ya hai? yah thik-thik bataiye. bhagavanh maian vidya, avidya, akshar aur kshar tatha saankhh‍y aur yog ko prithakh-prithakh poornaroop se samajhana chahata hooan.

vasishh‍th ji ne kaha— maharaj! tum jo-jo batean poochh rahe ho, maian un sabaka bhali-bhaanti uth‍tar dooanga. is samay yogasamh‍banh‍dhi krith‍y ka prithakh hi varnan kar raha hooan, suno. yogiyoan ke liye pradhan kartavh‍y hai dhh‍yan. vahi unaka param bal hai. yog ke vidvanh us dhh‍yan ko do prakar ka batalate haian— ek to man ki ekagrata aur doosara pranayam. pranayam ke bhi do bhed haian—sagun aur nirgun. inamean se jis pranayam mean man ka samh‍banh‍dh sagun ke sath rahata hai, vah sagun pranayam hai aur jisamean man ka samh‍banh‍dh nirgun ke sath rahata hai, vah nirgun pranayam hai. nareshh‍var! malath‍yag, mootrath‍yag aur bhojan—in tin karyoan mean jo samay lagata hai, usamean yog ka abhh‍yas n kare. shesh samay mean tath‍paratapoorvak yog ka abhh‍yas karana chahiye. buddhimanh yogiko chahiye ki pavitr ho manake dvara shrotr adi indriyoan ko shabh‍d adi vishayoan se hatave evan baees[2] prakar ki preranaoan dvara us jararahit jivath‍ma ko, jise manishi purushoan ne ath‍mash‍varoop bataya hai, chaubis tath‍voan ke samudayaroop prakriti se pare param purush paramath‍ma ki aur prerit kare. hamane gurujanoan ke mukh se suna hai ki jo log is prakar pranayam karate haian, ve sada hi parabrahm paramath‍ma ke janane ke adhikari hote haian. jisaka man sada dhh‍yan mean sanlagh‍n rahata hai, aise yogi ke hi yogh‍y yah vrat hai anh‍yatha bahirmukh chittavale purush ke liye yah nahian hai. yah nishchitaroop se janana chahiye. yogi sab prakar ki asaktiyoan se mukh‍t ho mitahari aur jitendriy bane tatha ratri ke pahale aur pichhale bhag mean man ko ath‍ma mean ekagr kare.[1]

mithileshvar! jab yogi man ke dvara samh‍poorn indriyoan ko aur buddhi ke dvara man ko sthir karake path‍thar ki bhaanti avichal ho jay, sookhe kath ki bhaanti nishh‍kamh‍p aur parvat ki tarah sthir rahane lage tabhi shash‍tr ke vidhan ko janane vale vidvan purush apane anubhav se hi usako yogayukh‍t kahate haian. jis samay vah n to sunata haian, n sooanghata hai, n sh‍vad leta hai, n dekhata hai aur n sh‍parsh ka hi anubhav karata hai, jab usake man mean kisi prakar ka sankalh‍p nahian uthata tatha kath ki bhaanti sthit hokar vah kisi bhi vash‍tu ka abhiman ya sudh-budh nahian rakhata, usi samay manishi purush use apane shuddhash‍varoop ko praph‍t evan yogayukh‍t kahate haian. us avash‍tha mean vah vayurahit sh‍than mean rakhe hue nishh‍chal bhav se prajh‍valit dipak ki bhaanti prakashit hota hai. liang sharir se usaka koee samh‍banh‍dh nahian rahata. vah aisa nishh‍chal ho jata hai ki usaki oopar-niche athava madhh‍y mean kahian bhi gati nahian hoti. jinaka sakshath‍kar kar lene par manushh‍y kuchh bol nahian pata, yogakal mean yogi usi paramath‍ma ko dekhe. vath‍s! mujhe-jaise logoan ko apane-apane hriday mean sthit sab ke jnata anh‍tarath‍ma ka hi jnan praph‍t karana uchit hai. dhh‍yananishh‍th yogi ko apane hriday mean usi prakar paramath‍ma ka sakshath darshan hota hai jaise dhoomarahit agni ka, kiranamalaoan se mandit soory ka tatha akash mean vidyuth ke prakash ka darshan hota hai. dhairyavanh, manishi, brahmabodhak shash‍troan mean nishh‍tha rakhane vale aur mahath‍ma brahman hi us ajanh‍ma evan amritash‍varoop brahm ka darshan kar pate haian. vah brahm anu se bhi anu aur mahanh se bhi mahanh kaha gaya hai. samh‍poorn praniyoan ke bhitar vah anh‍taryamiroop se avashh‍y sthir rahata he tathapi kisi ko dikhayi nahian deta hai. sookshh‍m buddhiroop dhan-samh‍panh‍n purush hi manomay dipak ke dvara us lokash‍trashh‍tha paramath‍ma ka sakshath‍kar kar sakate haian. vah paramath‍ma mahanh anh‍dhakar se pare aur tamogun se rahit hai; isaliye ved ke paragami sarvajn purushoan ne use tamonud (ajnan nashak) kaha hai. vah nirmal, ajnanarahit liangahin aur aliang nam se prasiddh (upadhishoonh‍y) hai. yogiyoan ka yog hai. isake siva yog ka kh‍ya lakshan ho sakata hai. is tarah sadhana karane vale yogi sab ke drashh‍ta ajar-amar paramath‍ma ka darshan karate haian .

tath‍voan ki uth‍patti ka varnan

yahaan tak maianne tumh‍hean yartharoop se yog-darshan ki bat batayi hai, ab saankhh‍y ka varnan karata hooan; y‍h vicharapradhan darshan hai. nripashreshh‍th! prakritivadi vidvanh mool prakriti ko avh‍yakh‍t kahate haian. usase doosara tath‍v prakat hua, jise mahatath‍v kahate haian. mahatath‍v se ahankar prakat hua, jo tisara tath‍v hai. aisa hamare sunane mean aya hai. ahankar se paanch sookshh‍m bhootoan ki arthath panchatanh‍matraoan ki uth‍patti huee; yah saankhh‍yath‍madarshi vidvanoan ka kathan hai. ye ath prakritiyaan haian. inase solah tath‍voan ki uth‍patti hoti hai, jinh‍hean vikar kahate haian. paanch jnanendriyaan, paanch karmendriyaan, ek man aur paanch sh‍thoolabhoot- ye solah vikar haian. inamean se akash adi paanch tath‍v aur paanch jnanendriyaan– ye vishesh kahalate haian. saankhh‍yashash‍triy vidhi- vidhan ke jnata aur sada saankhh‍yamarg mean hi anurakh‍t rahane vale manishi purush itani hi saankhh‍yasamh‍mat tath‍voan ki sankhh‍ya batalate haian. arthath avh‍yakh‍t, mahatath‍v, ahankar tatha panchatanh‍matra- in ath prakritiyoan sahit uparyukh‍t solah vikar milakar kul chaubis tath‍v saankhh‍yashash‍tr ke vidvanoan ne sh‍vikar kiye haian.[3]

jo tattv jisase uth‍panh‍n hota hai, vah usi mean lin bhi hota hai. anulomakram se un tath‍voan ki uth‍patti hoti hai (jaise prakriti se mahatath‍v, mahatath‍v se aanhakar, ahankar se sookshh‍m bhoot adi ke kram se srishti hoti hai); parantu unaka sanhar vilomakram se hota hai (arthath prithh‍vi ka jal mean, jal ka tej mean aur tej ka vayu mean lay hota hai. is tarah sabhi tath‍v apane-apane karan mean lin hote haian). ye sabhi tath‍v anh‍tarath‍ma dvara hi rache jate haian . jaise samudr mean uthi huee laharean phir usi mean shanh‍t ho jati haian, usi prakar samh‍poorn gun (tath‍v) sada anulomakram se uth‍panh‍n hote aur vilomakram se apane karanabhoot gunoan (tath‍v) mean hi lin ho jate haian. nripashreshh‍th! itana hi prakriti ke sarg aur pralay ka vishay hai. pralayakal mean isaka ekath‍v hai aur jab rachana hoti hai, tab isake bahut bhed ho jate haian. rajenh‍dr! jnananipun purushoan ko isi prakar prakriti ka ekath‍v aur nanath‍v janana chahiye. avh‍yakh‍t prakriti hi adhishh‍thata purush ko srishtikal mean nanath‍v ki or le jati hai. yahi purush ke ekath‍v ka nidarshan hai. arthatath‍v ke jnata purush ko yah janana chahiye ki pralayakal mean prakriti mean bhi ekata aur srishtikal mean anekata rahati hai. isi prakar purush bhi pralayakal mean ek hi rahata hai; kiantu srishtikal mean prakriti ka prerak hone ke karan usamean nanath‍v ka arop ho jata hai. paramath‍ma hi prasavatmika prakriti ko nana roopoan mean parinat karata hai. prakriti aur usake vikar ko kshetr kahate haian. chaubis tath‍voan se bhinh‍n jo pachisavaan tath‍v mahanh ath‍ma hai, vah kshetr mean adhishh‍thataroop se nivas karata hai. rajenh‍dr! isiliye yatishiromani use adhishh‍thata kahate haian. kshetroan ka adhishh‍than hone ke karan vah adhishh‍thata hai, aisa hamane sun rakha hai.

vah avh‍yakh‍tasanjnak kshetr (prakriti) ko janata hai, isaliye kshetrajn kahalata hai aur prakrit shariraroopi puroan mean anh‍taryamiroop se shayan karane ke karan use ‘purush’ kahate haian. vash‍tav mean kshetr anh‍y vash‍tu hai aur kshetrajn anh‍y. kshetr avh‍yakh‍t kaha gaya hai aur kshetrajn usaka jnata pachisavaan tath‍v ath‍ma hai. jnan anh‍y vash‍tu hai aur jney usase bhinh‍n kaha jata hai. jnan avh‍yakh‍t kaha gaya hai aur jney pachisavaan tath‍v ath‍ma hai. avh‍yakh‍t ko kshetr kaha gaya hai. usi ko sattv (buddhi) aur shasak ki bhi sanjna di gayi hai; parantu pachisavaan tath‍v paramapurush paramath‍ma jad tath‍v aur eeshh‍var se rahit bhinh‍n hai. itana hi saankhh‍yadarshan hai. saankhh‍yake vidvanh tath‍voan ki sankhh‍ya (ganana) karate aur prakriti ko hi jagath ka karan batate haian. isiliye is darshan ka nam saankhh‍yadarshan hai. saankhh‍yaveth‍ta purush prakritisahit chaubis tath‍voan ki pariganana karake paramapurusho ko jad tath‍voan se bhinh‍n pachisavaan nishchit karate haian. vah pachisavaan prakritiroop nahian hai. usase sarvatha bhinh‍n jnanash‍varoop mana gaya hai. jab vah apane-apako prakriti se bhinh‍n nith‍yachinh‍may jan leta hai, us samay keval ho jata hai arthath apane vishuddh parabrahmaroop mean sthit ho jata hai. is prakar maianne tumase yah samh‍yagh‍darshan (saankhh‍y) ka yathavath roop se varnan kiya hai. jo ise is prakar janate haian, ve shanh‍tash‍varoop brahma ko praph‍t hote haian. prakriti-purushaka prath‍yaksh-darshan (aparoksh-anubhav) hi samh‍yagh‍darshan hai. ye jo gunamay tath‍v haian, inase bhinh‍n paramapurush paramath‍ma nirgun haian.[4]

shatrudaman naresh! jinaki buddhi nanath‍v ka darshan karati hai, unh‍hean samh‍yakh-jnan ki prapti nahian hoti. aise logoan ko baranbar sharir dharan karana p data hai. jo is sare prapanch ko hi janate haian, ve isase bhinh‍n paramath‍ma ka tath‍v n janane ke karan nishh‍chay hi shariradhari hoange aur sharir tatha kam-krodh adi doshoan ke vashavarti bane raheange. ‘sarv’ nam hai avh‍yakh‍t prakriti ka aur usase bhinh‍n pachisavean tath‍v paramath‍ma ko asarv kaha gaya hai. jo unh‍hean is prakar janate haian, unh‍hean avagaman ka bhay nahian hota hai.[5]
