karm aur jnan ka anh‍tar tatha brahma prapti ke upay ka varnan

shukadev ne poochha – pitaji! ved mean ‘karm karo’ aur ‘karm chho do’– ye jo do prakar ke vachan milate haian, unake samh‍banh‍dh mean maian yah janana chahata hooan ki vidya (jnan) ke dvara karm ko th‍yag dene par manushh‍y kis disha mean jate haian ? aur karm karane se unh‍hean kis gati ki prapti hoti hai ? maian is vishay ko sunana chahata hooan, ap kripa poorvak mujhe yah batavean. ye donoan vachan ek doosare ke viparit haian, at: pratikool parinam hi uth‍panh‍n kar sakate haian.

bhishh‍maji kahate haian – rajanh! shukadevaji ke is prakar poochhane par parasharananh‍dan bhagavanh vh‍yas ne yoan uth‍tar diya – ‘beta! ye karmamay aur jnanamay marg kramash: vinashashil aur avinashi haian, maian inaki vh‍yakhh‍ya aramh‍bh karata hooan. ‘vath‍s! jnan se manushh‍y jis disha ko jate haian aur karm dvara unh‍hean jis gati ki prapti hoti hai, vah sab batata hॅoo, ekachith‍t hokar suno. in donoan ka anh‍tar ath‍yanh‍t gahan hai. ‘dharm hai, aisa shash‍tr ka upadesh hai, isake viparit yadi koee kahe ki dharm nahian hai to use sunakar ek astik ko jitana kashh‍t hota hai, usake paksh ke hi saman yah karm aur vidya ka taratamh‍yavishayak prashh‍n mere liye kh‍leshadayak hai.

‘pravrittilakshan dharm aur nivritti ke uddeshh‍y se pratipadit dharm, ye do marg haian jahaan ved pratishthit haian. ‘sakamakarm se manushh‍y banh‍dhan mean p data hai aur jnan se mukh‍t ho jata hai, at: dooradarshi yati karm nahian karate haian. ‘karm karane se manushh‍y mrith‍yu ke pashh‍chat solah[1] tath‍voan ke bane hue moortimanh sharir ko dharan karake janh‍m leta haian; kinh‍tu jnan ke prabhav se jiv nith‍y, avh‍yakh‍t, avinashi paramath‍ma ko praph‍t hota hai.

‘adhoore jnan mean asakh‍t arthath indriy jnan ko hi jnan manane vale kuchh manushh‍y sakamakarm ki prashansa karate haian, isiliye ve bhogasakh‍t hokar baranbar vibhinh‍n shariroan me ananh‍d manakar unaka sevan karate haian. ‘parantu’ jo dharm ke tath‍v ko bhalibhaanti samajhakar sarvoth‍tam jnan praph‍t kar chuke haian, ve karm ki usi tarah prashansa nahian karate haian, jaise pratidin nadi ka pani pine vale manushh‍y kuean ka adar nahian karate haian. ‘karm ke phal haian sukh-du:kh aur jnan ke dvara unh‍hean us paramapad ki prapti hoti hai, jahaan jane se sada ke liye shok se mukh‍t ho jata hai. ‘jahaan jisaka phir mrith‍yu ka kashh‍t nahian uthana p data, jahaan jane se phir janh‍m nahian hota, jahaan purnajanh‍m ka bhay nahian rahata tatha jahaan jakar manushh‍y phir is sansar mean nahian lautata.

‘jahaan bina kh‍lesh ke praph‍t hone vale aur milakar kabhi vilag n hone vale, avh‍yakh‍t, achal, nith‍y, anirvachaniy tatha vikarashoonh‍y us parabrahma paramath‍ma ka sakshath‍kar ho jata hai. ‘us sthiti ko praph‍t hue manushh‍yoan ko sukh-du:khadi dvanh‍dv, manasik sankalh‍p aur karm sansh‍kar badha nahian pahuanchate. vahaan pahॅuche hue manav sarvatr samanabhav rakhate haian, sabako mitr manate haian aur samash‍t praniyoan ke hit mean tath‍par rahate hai.
