varnavibhagapoorvak manushhyoan ki aur samasht praniyoan ki uthpatti ka varnan bhrigu ji kahate haian- mune! brahma ji ne srishti ke praramhbh mean apane tej se soory aur agni ke saman prakashit hone vale brahmanoan, marichi adi prajapatiyoan ko hi uthpanhn kiya. usake bad bhagavan brahma ne shvarg praphti ke sadhanabhoot sathy, dharm, tap, sanatan ved, achar aur shoch ke niyam banaye. tadanantar devata, danav, gandharv, daity, asur, mahan sarp, yaksh, rakshas, nag, pishach aur manushhyoan ko utpann kiya. dvijashreshhth! phir unhoanne brahman, kshatriy, vaishhy aur shoodr- in charoan varnoan ki rachana ki aur pranisamoohoan mean jo any samuday haian, unaki bhi srishti ki. brahmanoan ka rang shhvet, kshatriyoan ka lal, vaishhyoan ka pila tatha shoodroan ka kala banaya. bharadvaj ne poochha- prabho! yadi charoan varnoan mean se ek varn ke sath doosare varn ka rang-bhed hai, tab to sabhi varnoan mean vibhinn rang ke manushhy hone ke karan varn sankarata hi dikhayi deti hai. kam, krodh, bhay, lok, shok, chinta, kshudha aur thakavat ka prabhav ham sab logoan par saman roop se hi p data hai; phir varnoan ka bhed kaise siddh hota hai? ham sab logoan ke sharir se pasina, mal, mootr, kaph, pitt aur rakht nikalate haian. aisi dasha mean rang ke dvara varnoan ka vibhag kaise kiya ja sakata hai? pashu, pakshi, manushhy adi jangal praniyoan tatha vriksh adi sthavar jivoan ki asankhhy jatiyaan haian. unake rang bhi nana prakar ke haian, at: unake varnoan ka nishhchay kaise ho sakata hai? bhriguji ne kaha- mune! phale varnoan mean koee antar nahian tha, brahma ji se utpann hone ke karan yah sara jagat brahman hi tha. pichhe vibhinn karmoan ke karan unamean varnabhed ho gaya. jo apane brahmanochit dharm ka parityag karake vishayabhog ke premi, tikhe svabhav vale, krodhi aur sahas ka kam pasand karane vale ho gaye aur inhian karanoan se jinake sharir ka rang lal ho gaya, ve brahman kshatriy bhav ko prapht hue kshatriy kahalane lage. jinhoanne gauoan se tatha krishi karm ke dvara jivika chalane ki vritti apana li aur usi ke karan jinake rang pile p d gaye tatha jo brahmanochit dharm ko chho d baithe, ve hi brahman vaishhyabhav ko prapht hue. jo shauch aur sadachar se bhrasht hokar hiansa aur asathy ke premi ho gaye, lobhavash vyadhoan ke saman sabhi tarah ke nindh karm karake jivika chalane lage aur isiliye jinake sharir ka rang kala p d gaya, ve brahman shoodrabhav ko prapht ho gaye. inhian karmoan ke karan brahmanattv se alag hokar ve sabhi brahman doosare-doosare varn ke ho gaye, kiantu unake liye nityadharmanushthan aur yajn karm ka kabhi nishedh nahian kiya gaya hai. is prakar ye char varn hue, jinake liye brahma ji ne pahale brahmi sarasvati (vedavani) prakat ki. parantu lobhavishesh ke karan shoodr ajnanabhav ko prapht hue- vedadhhyayan ke anadhikari ho gaye. jo brahman ved ki ajna ke adhin rahakar sara kary karate, vedamantroan ko smaran rakhate aur sada vrat evan niyamoan ka palan karate haian, unaki tapasya kabhi nasht nahian hoti. |
