chaudah lakh shlokoan ki tisari sanhita ka yakshalok mean adar hua tatha ek lakh shlokoan ki chauthi sanhita manushyoan mean pracharit huee. devataoan ko devarshi narad ne, pitaroan ko asit devalane, yaksh aur rakshasoan ko shukadev ji ne aur manushyoan ko vaishampayan ji ne hi pahale-pahal mahabharat-sanhita sunayi hai. shaunak ji! jo manushy brahmanoan ko age karake gambhir arth se paripoorn itihas ka shravan karata hai vah is jagat mean sare manovanchhit bhogoan aur uttam kirti ko pakar siddhi prapt kar leta hai. is vishay mean muhjhe tanik bhi sanshay nahian hai. jo atyant shraddha aur bhakti ke sath mahabharat ke ek aansh ko bhi sunata ya doosaroan ko sunata hai use sampoorn mahabharat ke adhh‍yayan ka puny prapt hota hai aur usi ke prabhav se use uttam siddhi mil jati hai. jin bhagavan vedavyas ne is pavitr sanhita ko prakat karake apane putr shukadev ji ko padhaya tha (ve mahabharat ke sarabhoot upadesh ka is prakar varnan karate haian) manushy is jagat mean hazaroan mata-pitaoan tatha saik doan stri-putroan ke sanyog-viyog ka anubhav kar chuke haian, karate haian aur karate raheange.[3] ajnani purush ko pratidin harsh ke hazaroan aur bhay ke saik doan avasar prapt hote rahate haian; kiantu vidvan purush ke man par unaka koee prabhav nahian p data hai. maian donoan hath oopar uthakar pukar-pukar kar kah raha hooan, par meri bat koee nahian sunata. dharm se moksh to siddh hota hi hai; arth aur kam bhi siddh hote haian, to bhi log usaka sevan kh‍yoan nahian karate. kamana se, bhay se, lobh se athava pran bachane ke liye bhi dharm ka tyag n karean. dharm nity hai aur sukh-du:kh anity. isi prakar jivatma nity hai aur usake bandhan ka hetu anity hai.

y‍h mahabharat ka sarabhoot upadesh ‘bharat-savitri’ ke nam se prasiddh hai. jo pratidin sabere uthakar isaka path karata hai vah sampoorn mahabharat ke adhh‍yayan ka phal pakar parabrahm paramatma ko prapt kar leta hai. jaise aishvaryashali samudr aur himalay parvat donoan hi ratnoan ki nidhi kahe gaye haian, usi prakar mahabharat bhi nana prakar ke upadeshamay ratnoan ka bhandar kahalata hai. jo vidvan shrikrishnadvaipayan ke dvara prasiddh kiye gaye is mahabharataroop pancham ved ko sunata hai use arth ki prapti hoti hai. jo ekagrachitt hokar is bharat-upakhh‍yan ka path karata hai vah moksharoop param siddhi ko prapt kar leta hai. is vishay mean mujhe sanshay nahian hai. jo vedavyas ji ke mukh se nikale hue is apramey (atulaniy), punyadayak, pavitr, papahari aur kalh‍yanamay mahabharat ko doosaroan ke mukh se sunata hai use pushkaratirth ke jal mean gota lagane ki kh‍ya avashyakata hai. sau gauoan ke siang mean sona madhakar vedavetta evan bahujn brahman ko gauean dan deta hai aur jo mahabharat katha ka pratidin shravanamatr karata hai, in donoan mean se pratyek ko barabar hi phal milata hai.[4]
