devataoan ko yadi sada santusht aur sammanit kiya jata hai to ve bhi manushyoan ko santosh evan samman dete haian tatha yadi unaki avajna evan avahelana ki gayi to ve avajna karane vale nich manushy ko apani krodhagni se bhasm kar dalate haian. isake bad ab maian dhoopadan ki vidhi ka phal bataooanga. dhoop bhi achchhe aur bure kee tarah ke hote haian. unaka varnan mujhase suno.

dhoop ke mukhyatah tin bhed haian- 'niryas', 'sari' aur 'kritrim'. in dhoopoan ki gandh bhi achchhi aur buri do prakar ki hoti hai. ye sab batean mujhase vistarapoorvak suno. vrikshoan ke ras (goand) ko niryas kahate haian, sallaki namak vriksh ke siva any vrikshoan se prakat hue niryasamay dhoop devataoan ko bahut priy hote haian. unamean bhi guggul sabase shreshth hai. aisa manishi purushoan ka nishh‍chay hai. jin kashthoan ko ag mean jalane par sugandh prakat hoti hai, unhean sari dhoop kahate haian. inamean aguru ki pradhanata hai. sari dhoop visheshatah yaksh, rakshas, aur nagoan ko priy hote haian. daity log sall ki tatha usi tarah any vrikshoan ki goand ka bana hua dhoop pasand karate haian.

prithvinath! ral adi ke sugandhit choorn tatha sugandhit kashthaushadhiyoan ke choorn ko ghi aur shakkar se mishrit karake jo ashtagandh adi dhoop taiyar kiya jata hai, vahi kritrim hai. visheshatah vahi manushyoan ke upayog mean ata hai. vaisa dhoop devataoan, danavoan aur bhootoan ke liye bhi tatkal santosh pradan karane vala mana gaya hai. inake siva vihar (bhog-vilas) ke upayog mean ane vale aur bhi anek prakar ke dhoop haian, jo keval manushyoan ke vyavahar mean ate haian.

devataoan ko pushpadan karane se jo gun ya labh bataye gaye haian, ve hi dhoop nivedan karane se bhi prapt hote haian. aisa janana chahiye. dhoop bhi devataoan ki prasannata badhane vale haian. ab maian dipadan ka param uttam phal bataooanga. kab kis prakar kisake dvara dip diye jane chahiye, yah sab batata hooan, suno. dipak urdhvagami tej hai, vah kaanti aur kirti ka vistar karane vala bataya jata hai. atah dip ya tej ka dan manushyoan ke tej ki vriddhi karata hai. aandhakar aandhatamisr namak narak hai. dakshinayan bhi aandhakar se hi achchhann rahata hai. isake viparit uttarayan prakashamay hai. isaliye vah shresht mana gaya hai. atah andhakaramay narak ki nivritti ke liye dipadan ki prashansa ki gayi hai.

dipak ki shikha urdhh‍vagamini hoti hai. vah andhakararoopi rog ko door karane ki dava hai. isaliye jo dipadan karata hai, use nishh‍chay hi urdhh‍vagati ki prapti hoti hai. devata tejasvi, kaantiman aur prakash phailane vale hote haian aur rakshak andhakar priy hote haian; isaliye devataoan ki prasannata ke liye dipadan kiya jata hai. dipadan karane se manushy ke netroan ka tej vadhata hai aur vah svayan hi tejasvi hota hai. dan karane ke pashchat un dipakoan ko n to bujhavean, n uthakar anyatr le jayean aur n nasht hi karean.
