saankhy-siddhant aur yog ka abhyas

                      
17.avinashi tu taddhiddhi yen sarvamidan tatamh .
thvanashamavyayasyasy n kashchitkartumarhati ॥

(17)is bat ko samajh lo ki jisase yah sab vyapt hai, vah avinashvar hai. is aparivartaniy astitv ka vinash koee bhi nahian kar sakata. tatamh: chhaya hua, vyapt. sath hi dekhie, 8, 22, 46, 9,4,11, 38 aur mahabharat 12, 240, 201 shankarachary ne ’vyaptamh’ shabd ka prayog kiya hai. eeshvar, sarvochch bhagavanh, bhi apana vinash nahian kar sakata.[1] yah saty svatah siddh hai. yah bat kisi ko bhi ajnat nahian hai.[2] dharmagranth paramatma par vijatiy gunoan ke thope jane ya adhyaropan ko hatate mean sahayata dete haian, bilakul ajnat bastu ko prakat karane mean nahian. atmatattv se ramanuj ka abhipray sankhya-sanmbandhi anekata ke bich gunatmak ekata aur samanata se hai.

18. antavant ime deha nityasyoktaah sharirinah .
anashinoaprameyasy tasmadyudhyasv bharat ॥

(18)yah kaha gaya hai ki shashvat atma ke, jo avinashi aur ajney hai, ye sharir to nasht hone vale haian. isalie he arjun , too yuddh kar. yahaan sharir shabd vyakti ke sachche atm ki or sanket karata hai, jaisa ki sharirik mimaansa[3] vakyaansh mean kiya gaya hai, jo vyakti ke atm ki prakriti ke sambandh mean ek anusandhan hai. yah ajney hai, kyoan ki ise jnan ke samany sadhanoan se jana nahian ja sakata.

19.y enan vetti hantaran yashchainan manyate hatamh .
ubhau tau n vijanito nayan hanti n hanyate ॥

(19)jo yah sochata hai ki vah marata hai, aur jo yah sochata hai ki vah mana jana hai, ve donoan hi saty ko nahian janate. yah atma n to marata hai aur n mara jata hai. yahaan lekhak atm aur anatm mean, saankhy ke purush aur prakriti mean bhed kar raha hai.[4]

20.n jayate priyate va kadachi
nyayan bhootva bhavita va n bhooyah .
ajo nityah shashvatoayan purano
n hanyate hanyamane sharire ॥

(20)vah kabhi janm nahian leta aur n kabhi vah marata hi hai. ek bar astitv mean a jane ke bad unaka astitv phir kabhi samapt nahian hoga. vah ajanma, shashvath, nity aur prachin hai. sharir ke mare jane par bhi vah nahian marata. dekhie kathopanishadh, 2,181 tulana kijie, n vadhenasy hanyate. chhandosy upanishadh, 8,1,5. yahaan atma ka varnan is roop mean kiya gaya hai ki vah ’astitv mean aee hai. divy roop mean yah sada rahane vali hai aur ise apana astitv paramatma se prapt hota hai. shankarachary ne is vakyaansh ka is prakar sandhivichchhed kiya hai bhootvaabhavita.
