nishkarsh sannyas karm ka hi nahian, apitu karm ke phal ka kiya jana chahie

   
17.yasy nahankrito bhavo buddhiryasy n lipyate.
hatvapi s imaanllokann hanti n nibadhyate॥

jo ahankar ki bhavana se mukt hai, jisaki buddhi malin nahian hai, vah in sab manushyoan ko marata hua bhi marata nahian hai aur vah (apane karmoan ke karan) bandhan mean nahian p data. mukt manushy apane kary ko vishvatma ke upakaran ke roop mean aur vishv ki vyavastha ko banae rakhane ke lie karata hai. vah bhayankar karmoan ko bhi kisi svarthapoorn uddeshy ya ichchha ke bina karata hai; keval isalie ki vah usaka adisht karttavy hai. mahattv karm ka nahian, apitu us bhavana ka hai, jisake sath vah kiya gaya hai. ’’yadyapi vah laukik drishti se marata hai, phir bhi vah vastutah nahian marata.’’ - shankarachary.[1] is sthal ka yah arth nahian hai ki ham dand se mukt hokar aparadh karate rah sakate haian. jo vyakti vishal atmik chetana mean jivan-yapan karata hai, use koee pap karane ki avashyakata hi n hogi. bure kam ajnan aur prithakh chetana ke phalasvaroop utpann hote haian aur paramatma ke sath ekata ki chetana ke phalasvaroop kelav achchhe kam hi kie ja sakate haian.

jnan aur karm

18.jnanan jneyan parijnata trividha karmachodana.
karanan karm karteti trividhah karmasangrahah॥

jnan, jnan ka uddeshy aur janane vala karta; karm ke lie prerana in tin prakaroan ki hoti hai. sadhan, karm aur karta, yah tin prakar ka karm sangrah hai. dekhie 13, 20.’karmachodana’ ka abhipray manasik ayojana, aur ’karmasangrah’ ka abhipray karm ke vastavik karyanvayan se hai aur in donoan ke tin-tin pahaloo haian.

19.jnanan karm ch karta ch tridhaiv gunabhedatah.
prochyate gunasankhyane yathavachchhrigu tanyapi॥

gunoan ke vijnan mean jnan, karm aur karta gunoan ke antar ke anusar keval tin prakar ke kahe ge haian. ab too inake vishay mean thik-thik sun. yahaan saankhy-darshan ka nirdesh kiya gaya hai aur vah kuchh mamaloan mean pramanik hai, halaanki sarvachch saty ke mamale mean pramanik nahian hai.

20.sarvabhooteshu yenaikan bhavamavyayamikshate.
avibhaktan vibhakateshu tajjnanan viddhi sattvikamh॥

jis jnan ke dvara sab vastuoan aur praniyoan mean ek hi anashvar satta dikhaee p dati hai, jo vibhaktoan mean bhi avibhakt roop mean vidyaman hai, us jnan ko too sattvik jnan samajh.

21.prithaktven tu yajjnanan nanabhavanprithagvidhanh.
vetti sarveshu bhooteshu tajjnanan viddhi rajasamh॥

jis jnan ke dvara vibhinn praniyoan mean unaki prithakata ke karan astitv ki vividhata dikhaee p dati hai, us jnan ko rajasik samajhana chahie.

22.yattu kritsnadekasminh karye saktamahaitukamh‌.
atattvarthavadalpan ch tattamasamudahritamh॥

parantu jo jnan kisi ek kary ko hi sab-kuchh man leta hai aur usake karan ka koee dhyan nahian rakhata aur tattvarth ko nahian samajh pata aur jo sankirn hai, vah tamasik dhang ka jnan kahalata hai.

tin prakar ka karm

23.niyatan sangarahitamaragadveshatah kritamh.
aphalapehrapsuna karm yattatsattvikamuchyate॥

vah karm, jise karana avashyak hai, jise asakti ke bina kiya jata hai aur jise rag-dvesh se shoony hokar, phal ki ichchha se rahit vyakti dvara kiya jata hai, sattvik karm kahalata hai.
