nishkarsh sannyas karm ka hi nahian, apitu karm ke phal ka kiya jana chahie

1.sannyasasy mahabaho tattvamichchhami veditumh.
tyagasy ch hrishikesh prithakkeshinishoodan॥

arjun ne kaha: he mahabahu (krishn), maian sannyas aur tyag ka prithakh-prithakh sachcha roop janana chahata hooan, he hrishikesh (krishn), he keshinishoodan (krishn)! (vah mujhe bata.) gita mean karm ke sannyas par nahian, apitu ichchha ka tyag karake karm karate rahane par jor diya gaya hai. yahi sachcha sannyas hai. is shlok mean ’sannyas’ shabd ka prayog sab karmoan ke parityag ke lie aur ’tyag’ shabd ka prayog sab karmoan ke phal ke tyag ke lie kiya gaya hai. mukti karm dvara ya santan dvara ya dhan nahian milati, apitu tyag dvara milati hai.[1]gita ka kathan hai ki mukt atma mukti ke bad bhi seva mean lagi rah sakati hai aur gita us drishtikon ka virodh karati hai, jisaka yah mat hai ki sara karm ajnan se utpann hota hai aur jab jnan ka uday ho jata hai, tab karm samapt ho jata hai. gita ka guru is drishtikon ko, ki jo vyakti karm karata hai, vah bandhan mean phansa hua hai aur jo svatanntr (mukt) hai aur vah karm kar hi nahian sakata, galat manata hai.

2.kamyanaan karmanaan nyasan sannyasan kavayo viduah.
sarvakarmaphalatyagan prahustyagan vichakshanaah॥

shri bhagavanh ne kaha: buddhimanh log ’sannyas’ ka arth ichchha dvara prerit karmoan ka tyag samajhate haian; sab karmoan ke phaloan ke tyag ko vidvanh log ’tyag’ kahate haian. j data ya nishkriyata adarsh nahian hai. hamare sammukh jo adarsh rakha gaya hai, vah svarthapoorn ichchha ke bina aur labh ki asha ke bina, is bhavana ke sath kiya gaya karm hai ki ’maian karta nahian hooan; maian apane-ap ko sarvabhaum atma ke prati samarpit kar raha hooan.’ gita karmoan ke poorn sannyas ki shiksha nahian deti, apitu sab karmoan ko nishkam karm arthath ichchharahit karm mean badal dalane ki shiksha deti hai. parantu shankarachary ka mat hai ki yahaan jis prakar ke tyag ki shiksha di gee hai, vah keval karmayogiyoan par lagoo hoti hai aur jnaniyoan ke lie karmoan ka poorn parityag atyavashyak hai. shankarachary ka mat hai ki jnan aur karm sath-sath rah hi nahian sakate.

3.tyajyan doshavadityeke karm prahurmanishinah.
yajnadanatapahkarm n tyajyamiti chapare॥

kuchh vidvanh logoan ka kathan hai ki ’karm ko dosh samajhakar tyag dena chahie,’ jabaki any vidvanoan ka kathan hai ki ’yajn, dan aur tap ke karmoan ka tyag nahian karana chahie.’

4.nishchayan shrrinu me tatr tyage bharatasattamh.
tyago hi purushavyaghr trividhah sanprakirtitah॥

he bharatoan mean shreshth (arjun), ab too mujhase tyag ke sambandh mean sachchaee ko sun; he manushyoan mean shreshth (arjun), tyag tin prakar ka bataya gaya hai. ramanuj ne tyag ko (1) phal ka tyag, (2) is vichar ka tyag ki atma karta hai aur is prakar asakti ka bhi tyag aur (3) yah anubhav karate hue ki sab karmoan ka karane vala paramatma hai, kartritv ke sampoorn vichar ka tyag-in tin bhagoan mean bataan hai.

5. yajnadanatapahkarm n tyajyan karyamev tath.
yajno danan tapashchaiv pavanani manishinamh॥

yajn, dan aur tap ke karmoan ka tyag nahian karana chahie, apitu unhean karate hi rahana chahie; kyoanki yajn, dan aur tap buddhiman logoan ko pavitr karane vale hote haian. is drishtikon ke viruddh, ki sab karmoan ka tyag kar dena chahie, kyoanki ve bandhan mean dalane vale haian, gita yah kahati hai ki yajn, dan aur tap [2] ka tyag nahian karana chahie.
