sab vastuoan aur praniyoan ka rahasyamay janak sarvochch jnan

   
7.rajo ragatmakan viddhi trishnasagansamuddhavamh.
tannibadhnati kauntey karmasagen dehinamh॥

too yah samajh le ki avesh (rajash) akarshan ke (anuragatmak) dhang ka hai, jo lobh asakti se utpann hota hai. he kunti ke putr (arjun), yah shariri (atma) ko karm ke prati asakti dvara is vichar se karm karavata hai ki ’maian karta hooan’. -anandagiri.

8.tamastvajnanajan viddhi mohanan sarvadehinamh.
pramadalasyanidrabhjnistaninnabadhnati bharat॥

too yah samajh ki nishkriyata ajnan se utpann hoti hai aur sab dehadhariyoan ko moh mean (bhram mean) dal deti hai. he bharat (arjun), yah laparavahi, alasy aur nidra (ke gunoan ke vikas) dvara bandhan mean dal deti hai.

9.sattvan sukhe sanjayati rajah karmani bharat.
jnanamavrity tu tamah pramade sanjayatyut॥

he bharat (arjun), achchhaee arthath saty-gun manushy ko anand mean aur rajogun karm mean lagata hai, kintu tamogun buddhi ko dhakakar pramad ki or lagata hai.

10.rajastamashchabhibhooy sattvan bhavati bharat.
rajah sattvan tamashchaiv tamah sattvan rajastatha॥

he bharat (arjun), sattv rajash aur tamash ko dabakar un par vijayi hota hai. rajash sattv aur tamash ko dabakar un par vijayi hota hai aur isi prakar tamash sattv aur rajash ko dabakar un par vijayi hota hai.tinoan gun sab manav-praniyoan mean vidyaman rahate haian, bhale hi ve alag-alag matraoan mean hoan. koee bhi unase bacha hua nahian hai aur pratyek atma mean koee-n-koee ek gun pradhan hota hai. manushyoan ko us gun ke adhar par, jo uname pradhan hota hai, sattvik, rajasik athava tamas kaha jata hai. jab sharirashastr mean sharir ki prakritiyoan (hyoomar) ka siddhant prachalit tha, tab manushyoan ka vargikaran char prakritiyoan mean se kisi ek ki pradhanata ke karan rakt-pradhan (saianguin), pitt-pradhan (biliyam), kaph-pradhan (limphaitik) aur cheta-pradhan (narvas) ke roop mean kiya jata tha. hindoo vargikaran mean manasik visheshataoan ko dhyan mean rakha gaya hai. sattvik prakriti apana uddeshy prakash aur jnan ko banati hai; rajasik prakriti ashant aur bahy vastuoan ki lalasa se poorn hoti haian. sattvik svabhav ki gatividhiyaan svatऩhtr, shant aur svartharahit hoti haian, jabaki rajasik svabhav sada sakriy rahana chahata hai aur shant nahian baith sakata aur usaki gatividhiyaan svarth-lalasa se lipt rahati haian. tamasik prakriti nishkriy aur j d hoti hai. usaka man andhakarapoorn aur bhrant hota hai aur usaka sara jivan nirantar apane parivesh ke sammukh jhukate chale jane ka hi hota hai.

11.sarvadvareshu deheasminprakash upajayate.
jnanan yada tada vidyadvivriddhan sattvamityut॥

jab jnan ka prakash sharir ke sab dvaroan se bahar phootane lagata hai, tab yah samajha ja sakata hai ki sattv-gun badh raha hai.sarvadvareshu deheasminh: is sharir ke sab dvaroan mean jnan ke prakash ki poorn sharirik abhivyakti ho sakati hai. chetana ka saty bhautik tattv mean abhivyakti ka virodhi nahian hai. brahm ko bhautik star par bhi anubhav kiya ja sakata hai. manaviy chetana ko divy banana, bhautik tattv tak prakash ko pahuanchana aur sampoorn jivan ka roopantar kar dena yog ka lakshy hai.jab hamare man alokit ho uthate haian aur indriyaan tivratar hea jati haian, tab saty-gun pradhan hota hai.
