yuktaharaviharasy yuktacheshtasy karmasu .
yuktasvapnavabodhasy yogo bhavati du:khaha ॥17॥[1]

yog, jo duahkh ka nashak hai, usake lie hai, jo ahar-vihar mean, any karmoan mean, sone-jagane mean sanyat aur niyamit rahata hai.

yatha dipo nivatastho nengate sopama smrita .
yogino yatachittasy yunjato yogamatman: ॥19॥[2]

poornataya shaant vayu ke sthan mean rakhe hue dipak ki shikha sthir rahati hai. man ko vash mean rakhane vale yogi ke achal dhyan ko isi saman bataya gaya hai.

sabhi karyoan mean, jinamean tapasya bhi sammilit hai, madhyam marg par kiye gaye agrah ka dhyan rakhana chahiye. saphalata ka rahasy man ke sath bhagane mean satat prayatnashil vicharoan ko vash mean karane ki nirantar sadhana mean nihit hai, tapasya ki ati kathorata mean nahian.

sankalpaprabhavankamaanstyaktva sarvanasheshat: .
manasaivendriyagraman viniyamy samantat: ॥24॥[3]

man ko samast kamanaoan se mukt karake aur man ke dvara indriy samooh ko sab or se niyam mean lakar-

shanai: shanairuparamedbuddhya dhritigrihitaya .
atmasansthan man: kritva n kianchidapi chintayeth ॥25॥[4]

vah apani buddhi ka nirantar prayog karake dhire-dhire antarmukh hota jay aur is prakar man ko atma mean sthit karake doosari kisi bat ka vichar n kare.
