dhritarashh‍tr ki chianta

viduraji bole- rajan! jisaka balavan ke sath virodh ho gaya hai, us sadhanahin durbal manushh‍y ko, jisaka sab kuchh har liya gaya hai, us kami ko tatha chor ko rat mean niand nahian ati. dhritarashh‍tr ne kaha- vidur! maian tumh‍hare dharmayukh‍t tatha kalh‍yan karane vale suandar vachan sunana chahata hooan, kh‍yoanki is rajarshivansh mean keval tumh‍hian vidvanoan ke bhi mananiy ho. viduraji bole- maharaj dhritarashh‍tr! shreshh‍th lakshanoan se samh‍panh‍n raja yudhishthir tinoan lokoan ke sh‍vami ho sakate haian. ve apake ajnakari the, par apane unh‍hean van mean bhej diya. ap dharmath‍ma aur dharm ke janakar hote hue bhi aankhoan ki jh‍yoti se hin hone ke karan unh‍hean pahachan n sake, isi se unake ath‍yant viparit ho gaye aur unh‍hean rajh‍y ka bhag dene mean apaki samh‍mati nahian huee. yudhishthir mean kroorata ka abhav, daya, dharm, sath‍y tatha parakram hai, ve ap mean poojh‍yabuddhi rakhate haian. inh‍hian sadganoan ke karan ve soch-vicharakar chupachap bahut-se kh‍lesh sah rahe haian. ap duryodhan, shakuni, karn tatha du:shasan- jaise ayogh‍y vh‍yaktiyoan par rajh‍y ka bhar rakhakar kaise kalh‍yan chahate haian?

vidvanoan ke gunoan ka varnan

viduraji kahate hai- ki apane vash‍tavik sh‍varoop ka jnan, udyog, du:kh sahane ki shakti aur dharm mean sthirata- ye gun, jis manushh‍y-ko purusharth se chh‍yut nahian karate, vahi pandit kahalata hai. jo achh‍chhe karmoan ka sevan karata hai aur bure karmoan se door rahata hai, sath hi jo astik aur shraddhalu hai, usake ve sadgun pandit hone ke lakshan haian.[1] krodh, harsh, garv, lajh‍ja uddanh‍data tatha apane ko poojh‍y samajhana- ye bhav jisako purusharth se bhrashh‍t nahian karate, vahi pandit kahalata hai. doosare log jisake kartavh‍y, salah aur pahale se kiye hue vichar ko nahian janate, balki kam poora ho jane par hi janate haian, vahi pandit kahalata hai. sardi-garmi, bhay-anurag, samh‍patti athava daridrata ye jisake kary mean vighh‍n nahian dalate, vahi pandit kahalata hai. jisaki laukik buddhi dharm aur arth ka hi anusaran karati hai aur jo bhog ko chho dakar purusharth ka hi varan karata hai, vahi pandit kahalata hai. vivekapoorn buddhi vale purush shakti ke anusar kam karane ki ichh‍chha rakhate haian aur karate bhi haian tatha kisi vash‍tu ko tuchh‍chh samajhakar usaki avahelana nahian karate. vidvan purush kisi vishay ko der tak sunata hai; kiantu shighr hi samajh leta hai, samajhakar kartavh‍yabuddhi se purusharth mean pravrith‍t hota hai- kamana se nahian, bina puchhe doosare ke vishay mean vh‍yarth koee bat nahian kahata hai. usaka yah sh‍vabhav pandit ki mukhh‍y pahachan hai. panditoan ki-si buddhi rakhane vale manushh‍y durlabh vastu ki kamana nahian karate, khoyi huee vastu ke vishay mean shok karana nahian chahate aur vipatti mean p dakar ghabarate nahian haian. jo pahale nishchay karake phir kary ka arambh karata hai, kary ke bich mean nahian rukata, samay ko vyarth nahian jane deta aur chitt ko vash mean rakhata hai, vahi pandit kahalata hai. bharatakulabhooshan! pandit jan shreshh‍th karmoan mean ruchi rakhate haian tatha bhalaee karane valoan mean dosh nahian nikalate. jo apana adar hone par harsh ke mare phoole nahian uthata, anadar se santapt nahian hota tatha gangaji ke hrid (gahare gart) ke saman jisake chitt ko kshobh nahian hota, vahi pandit kahalata hai. jo sampoorn bhautik padarthoan ki asaliyat ka jnan rakhane vala, sab karyoan ke karane ka dhang janane vala tatha manushh‍yoan mean sabase badhakar upay ka janakar hai, vah manushh‍y pandit kahalata hai. jisaki vani kahian rukati nahian, jo vichitr dhang se batachit karata hai, tark mean nipun aur pratibhashali hai tatha jo granth ke tatpary ko shighr bata sakata hai, jo bahut dhan, vidya tatha aishh‍vary ko pakar bhi uddanh‍datapoorvak nahian chalata hai ,vah pandit kahalata hai. jisaki vidya buddhi ka anusaran karati hai aur buddhi vidya ka tatha jo shishh‍t purushoan ki maryada ka ullanghan nahian karata, vahi pandit ki sanjna pa sakata hai.[3]

bina padhe़ hi garv karane vale, daridr hokar bhi b de-b de़ manorath karane vale aur bina kam kiye hi dhan pane ki ichchha rakhane vale manushh‍y ko pandit log moorkh kahate haian. jo apana kartavy chho dakar doosare ke kartavy ka palan karata hai tatha mitr ke sath asat acharan karata hai, vah moorkh kahalata hai. jo n chahane valoan ko chahata hai aur chahane valoan ko tyag deta hai tatha jo apane se balavan ke sath vair baandhata hai, use moodh vichar ka manushh‍y kahate haian. jo shatru ko mitr banata hai aur mitr se dvesh karate hue use kashh‍t pahuanchata hai tatha sada bure karmoan ka arambh kiya karata hai, use moodh chitt vala kahate haian.[3] bharatashreshth jo apane kamoan ko vyarth hi phailata hai, sarvatr sandeh karata hai tatha shighr hone vale kam mean bhi der lagata hai, vah moodh hai. jo pitaroan ka shraddh aur devataoan ka poojan nahian karata tatha jise suhrid mitr nahian milata, use moodh chitt vala kahate haian. moodh chitt vala adham manushh‍y bina bulaye hi bhitar chala ata hai, bina poochhe hi bahut bolata hai tatha avishh‍vasaniy manushh‍y par bhi vishh‍vas karata hai. svayan doshayukt bartav karate hue bhi jo doosare par usake dosh batakar akshep karata hai tatha jo asamarth hote hue bhi vyarth ka krodh karata hai, vah manushh‍y mahamoorkh hai. jo apane bal ko n samajhakar bina kam kiye hi dharm aur arth se viruddh tatha n pane yogy vastu ki ichchha karata hai, vah purush is sansar mean moodh buddhi kahalata hai. rajan! jo anadhikari ko upadesh deta aur shoony ki upasana karata hai tatha jo kripan ka ashray leta hai, use moodh chitt vala kahate haian. jo apane dvara bharan-poshan ke yogy vyaktiyoan ko baante bina akele hi uttam bhojan karata aur achchha vastr pahanata hai, usase badhakar kroor kaun hoga?[4]

manushh‍y akela pap kar ke dhan kamata hai aur us dhan ka upabhog bahut-se log karate haian. upabhog karane vale to dosh se chhoot jate haian, par usaka karta dosh ka bhagi hota hai. kisi dhanurdhar vir ke dvara chho da hua ban sambhav hai, ek ko bhi mare ya n mare. parantu buddhiman dvara prayukt ki huee buddhi raja ke sath-sath sampoorn rashh‍tr ka vinash kar sakati hai. ek buddhi se do (kartavy aur akartavy) ka nishh‍chay karake (char sam, dan, bhed,danh‍d) se tin (shatru, mitr tatha udasin) ko vash mean kijiye. paanch (indriyoan) ko jitakar chh: (sandhi, vigrah, yan, asan, dvaidhibhav aur samashrayaroop) gunoan ko janakar tatha sat (stri, jooa, mrigaya, mady, kathor vachan, danh‍d ki kathorata aur anyay se dhanoparjan) ko chho dakar sukhi ho jaiye[5] vish ka ras ek (pine vale) ko hi marata hai, shastr se ek ka hi vadh hota hai; kiantu gupt mantrana ka prakashit hona rashh‍tr aur praja ke sath hi raja ka bhi vinash kar dalata hai. akele svadishh‍t bhojan n kare, akele kisi vishay ka nishchay n kare, akele rasta n chale aur bahut se log soye hoan to unamean akela n jagata rahe. rajan! jaise samuhdr ke par jane ke liye nav hi ekamatr sadhan hai, usi prakar svarg ke liye saty hi ekamatr sopan hai, doosara nahian; kiantu ap ise nahian samajh rahe haian. kshamashil purushoan mean ek hi dosh ka arop hota hai, doosare ki to sambhavana hi nahian hai. vah dosh yah hai ki kshamashil manushh‍y ko log asamarth samajh lete haian. kiantu kshamashil purush ka vah dosh nahian manana chahiye, kyoanki kshama bahut b da bal hai. kshama asamarth manushh‍yoan ka gun tatha samarthoan ka bhooshan hai.[4]

is jagat mean kshama vashikaran roop hai. bhala, kshama se kya nahian siddh hota? jisake hath mean shanti roopi talavar hai, usaka dushh‍t purush kya kar leange? trin rahit sthan mean giri huee ag apane-ap bujh jati hai. kshamahin purush apane ko tatha doosare ko bhi dosh ka bhagi bana leta hai. keval dharm hi param kalyanakarak hai, ekamatr kshama hi shanti ka sarvashreshh‍th upay hai. ek vidya hi param santosh dene vali hai aur ekamatr ahiansa hi sukh dene vali hai. samudr paryant is sari prithh‍vi mean ye do prakar ke adham purush haian- akarmanh‍y grihasth aur karmoan mean laga hua sannyasi.. bil mean rahane vale jivoan ko jaise saanp kha jata hai, usi prakar yah prithh‍vi shatru se virodh n karane vale raja aur paradesh sevan n karane vale brahman- in donoan ko kha jati hai. jara bhi kathor n bolana aur dushh‍t purushoan ka adar n karana- in do karmoan ko karane vala manushh‍y is lok mean vishesh shobha pata hai. doosari stri dvara chahe gaye purush ki kamana karane vali striyaan tatha doosaroan ke dvara poojit manushh‍y ka adar karane vale purush- ye do prakar ke log doosaroan par vishh‍vas karake chalane-vale hote haian. jo nirdhan hokar bhi bahumooly vastu ki ichchha rakhata hai aur asamarth hokar bhi krodh karata hai- ye donoan hi apane liye tikshh‍n kaantoan ke saman haian evan apane sharir ko sukhane vale haian. do hi apane viparit karm ke karan shobha nahian pate-a‍karmanh‍y grihasth aur prapanch mean laga hua sannyasi. rajan! ye do prakar ke purush svarg ke bhi oopar sthan pate haian- shaktishali hone par bhi kshama karane vala aur nirdhan hone par bhi dan dene vala.[6]

nyayapoorvak uparjit kiye hue dhan ke do hi durupayog samajhane chahiye- apatr ko dena aur satpatr ko n dena. jo dhani hone par bhi dan n de aur daridr hone par bhi kashh‍t sahan n kar sake- in do prakar ke manushh‍yoan ko gale mean majaboot patthar baandhakar pani mean dooba dena chahiye. purushashreshh‍th! ye do prakar ke purush sooryamanh‍dal ko bhedakar oordhh‍vagati prapt hote haian- yogayukt sannyasi aur sangram mean shatroan ke sammukh yuddh karake mara gaya yoddha. bharatashreshh‍th! manushh‍yoan ki kary siddhi ke liye uttam, madhh‍yam aur adham- ye tin prakar ke nyayanookool upay sune jate haian, aisa vedavetta vidvan janate haian. rajan! uttam, madhh‍yam aur adham- ye tin prakar ke purush hote haian; inako yathayogy tin hi prakar ke karmoan mean lagana chahiye. rajan! tin hi dhan ke adhikari nahian mane jate- stri, putr tatha das. ye jo kuchh kamate haian, vah dhan usi ka hota hai, jisake adhin ye rahate haian. doosare ke dhan ka haran, doosare ki stri ka sansarg tatha suhridh mitr ka parityag- ye tinoan hi dosh kshay karane vale hote haian. kam, krodh aur lobh- ye atma ka nash karane vale narak ke tin daravaje hai; at: in tinoan ko tyag dena chahiye.[6]

bharat! varadan pana, rajy ki prapti aur putr ka janm- ye tin ek or aur shatru ke kashh‍t se chhootana- yah ek or ve tin aur yah ek barabar hi haian. bhakt, sevak tatha maian apaka hi hooan, aisa kahane vale- in tin prakar ke sharanagat manushh‍yoan ko sankat p dane par bhi nahian chho dana chahiye. tho di buddhivale, dirghasootri, jaldabaj aur stuti karane vale logoan ke sath gupt salah nahian karani chahiye. ye charoan mahabali raja ke liye tyag ne yogy bataye gaye haian. vidvan purush aise logoan ko pahachan lean. grihash‍th dharm mean sthit ap lakshh‍mivan ke ghar mean char prakar ke manushh‍yoan ko sada rahana chahiye-apane kutumh‍b ka boodha, sankat mean p da hua uchh‍ch kul ka manushh‍y, dhanahin mitr or bina santan ki bahin.[7]

maharaj! inh‍dr ke poochhane par unase brihash‍patiji ne jin charoan ko tath‍kal phal den vala bataya tha, unh‍hean ap mujhase suniye- devataoan ka sankalh‍p, buddhimanoan ka prabhav, vidvanoan ki namrata or papiyoan ka vinash. char karm bhay ko door karane vale haian; kiantu ve hi yadi thik tarah se samh‍padit n hoan, to bhay pradan karate haian. ve karm haian- adar ke sath agnihotr, adarapoorvak maun ka palan, adarapoorvak sh‍vadhh‍yay aur adar ke sath yajn ka anushh‍than. bharatashreshh‍th! pita, mata, agni, ath‍ma aur guru- manushh‍y ko in paanch agniyoan ki b de yath‍n se seva karani chahiye. devata, pitar, manushh‍y, sanyasi aur atithi- in paanchoan ki pooja karane vala manushh‍y shuddh yash praph‍t karata hai. rajan! ap jahaan-jahaan jayange, vahaan-vahaan mitr, shatru, udasin, ashray den vale tatha ashray pane vale- ye paanch apake pichhe lage raheange. paanch jnanendriyoan vale purush ki yadi ek bhi indriy chhidr (dosh) yukh‍t ho jay to usase usaki vriddhi is prakar bahar nikal jati hai, jaise mashak ke chhed se pani. aishrvary ya unh‍nati chahane vale purushoan ko niand, tanh‍dra (ooanghana), dar, krodh,alash‍y tatha dirghasootrata[8] in chh: durgunoan ko th‍yag dena chahiye. upadesh n dene vale achary, manh‍trochh‍charan n karane vale hota, raksha karane mean asamarth raja, kud vachan bolane vali sh‍tri, gram mean rahane ki ichh‍chha vale gh‍vale tatha van mean rahane ki ichh‍chha vale naee-in chh: ko usi bhaanti chho d de, jaise samudr ki sair karane vala manushh‍y chhidr yukh‍t nav ka parith‍yag kar deta hai. manushh‍y ko kabhi bhi sath‍y, dan, karmanh‍yata, anasooya (gunoan mean dosh dikhane ki pravritti ka abhav), kshama tatha dhairy- in chh: gunoan ka th‍yag nahian karana chahiye.

rajan dhan ki prapti, nith‍y nirog rahana, sh‍tri ka anukool tatha priyavadini hona, putr ka ajna ke aandar rahana tatha dhan paida karane vali vidya ka jnan- ye chh: batean is manushh‍y lok mean sukhadayini hoti haian. man mean nith‍y rahane vale chh: shatru-(kam, krodh, lobh, moh, mad tatha math‍sary) ko jo vash mean kar leta hai, vah jitendriy purush papoan se hi liph‍t nahian hota, phir unase uth‍panh‍n hone vale anarthoan se yukh‍t hone ki to bat hi kh‍ya hai? nimh‍nakit chh: prakar ke manushh‍y chh: prakar ke logoan se apani jivika chalate haian, satavean ki upalabdhi nahian hoti. chor asavadhan purush se, vaidy rogi se, kamonh‍math‍t striyaan kamiyoan se, purohit yajamanoan se, raja jhag dane valoan se tatha vidvan purush moorkhoan se apani jivika chalate haian. muhoort bhar bhi dekh-rekh n karane se gau, seva, kheti, sh‍tri, vidya tatha shoodroan se mel- ye chh: chijean nashh‍t ho jati haian.[7] ye chh: pray: sada apane poorv upakari ka samh‍man nahian karate haian- shiksha samaph‍t ho jane par shishh‍y achary ka, vi‍vahit bete mata ka, kam vasana ki shaanti ho jane par purush sh‍tri ka, kritakary manushh‍y sahayak ka, nadi ki durgam dhara par kar lene vale purush nav ka tatha rogi purush rog chhootane ke bad vedy ka rajan! nirog rahana, rrini n hona, paradesh mean n rahana, achh‍chhe logoan ke sath mel hona, apani vritti se jivika chalana aur nirbhay hokar r‍hana- ye chh: manushh‍y lok ke sukh haian. eershh‍ya karane vala, ghrina karane vala, aansatoshi, krodhi, sada shankit rahane vala aur doosare ke bhagh‍y par jivan-nirvah karane vala- ye chh: sada dukhi rahate haian. sh‍trivishayak asakti, jua, shikar, madyapan, vachan ki kathorata, ath‍yant kathor danh‍d dena aur dhan ka durupayog karana- ye sat du:khadayi dosh raja ko sada th‍yag dene chahiye. inase dridhamool raja bhi pray: nashh‍t ho jate haian. vinash ke mukh mean p dane vale manushh‍y ke ath poorvachinh‍hri haian- pratham to vah brahmanoan se dvesh karata hai, phir unake virodh ka patr banata hai, brahmanoan ka dhan h dap leta hai, unako marana chahata hai, brahmanoan ki nianda mean anand manata hai, unaki prashansa sunana nahian chahata, yajn-yagadi mean unaka sh‍maran nahian karata tatha kuchh maangane par unamean dosh nikalane lagata hai.[9]

in sab doshoan ko buddhiman manushh‍y samajhe aur samajhakar th‍yag de. bharat! mitroan se samagam, adhik dhan ki prapti, putr ka aliangan, maithun mean sanlagh‍n hona, samay par priy vachan bolana, apane varg ke logoan mean unh‍nati, abhishh‍t vash‍tu ki prapti aur jan-samaj mean samh‍man- ye ath harsh ke sar dikhayi dete haian aur ye hi apane laukik sukh ke bhi sadhan hote haian. buddhi, kulinata, indriyanigrah,shash‍trajnan, parakram, adhik n bolana, shakti ke anusar dan aur kritajnata- ye ath gun purush ki khh‍yati badha dete haian. jo vidvan purush [2] nau daravaje vale, tin [3] khanbho vale, paanch (jnanendriy roop) sakshi vale, atma ke nivas sthan is sharir roopi grih ko tattv se janata hai, vah bahut b da jnani hai. maharaj dhritarashh‍tr! das prakar ke log dharm ke tattv ko nahian janate, unake nam suno. nashe mean matavala, asavadhan, pagal, thaka hua, krodhi, bhookha, jaldabaj, lobhi, bhayabhit aur kami- ye das haian. at: in sab logoan mean vidvan purush asakt n hove. isi vishay mean asuroan ke raja prahlad ne sudhanva ke sath apane putr ke prati kuchh upadesh diya tha.

nitijn log us puratan itihas ka udaharan dete haian. jo raja kam aur krodh ka tyag karata hai aur supatr- ko dhan deta hai, shastroan ka jnata aur kartavy ko shighr poora karane vala hai, us (ke vyavahar aur vachanoan) ka sab log praman manate haian. jo manushh‍yoan mean vishvas utpann karana janata hai, jinaka aparadh pramanit ho gaya hai unhian ko jo danh‍d deta hai, jo danh‍d dene ki nyunadhik matra tatha kshama ka upayog janata hai, us raja ki seva mean sampoorn sampatti chali ati hai. jo kisi durbal ka apaman nahian karata, sada savadhan rahakar shatru ke sath buddhipoorvak vyavahar karata hai, balavanoan ke sath yuddh pasand nahian karata tatha samay ane par parakram dikhata hai, vahi dhir hai.[9]
