“jaise tarangoan ke bina sarovar, meghoan ke bina akash, sarpoan ke bina chandanavan, kalaoan ki asthirata ke bina chandrama, chintamukt ho jane par raja athava manthan karane vale mandarachal ke bina kshirasindhu ki avastha hoti hai, vaise hi bhaanti-bhaanti ke sankalp-vikalpoan ke bakhe de shant ho jane par jo man ekamatr atmaroop mean sthir ho jata hai, santapashoony prakash, j datahin ras athava polepan se rahit avakash ki tarah hokar jis samay man nij hit ka sadhan karake anandamay svaroop dekhata hai aur apane svabhav ka thik vaise hi tyag kar deta hai, jaise sardi se shoony ho jane vala avayav sparsh jnan se rahit ho jata hai aur phir sardi ki badha ka anubhav nahian karata, us samay man ko nishkalank tatha poorn chandramandal ki bhaanti jo uttam saundary upalabdh hota hai, man ki us avastha mean vairagy se klesh nahian ke saman ho jate haian; man ki chanchalata ka avasan ho jata hai aur ekamatr atmabodh ki poornata hi avashisht rahati hai. isiliye shastropadesh karate samay jo mukh hilana-dulana p data hai, vah band ho jata hai aur vah prayatn hi vani ka sootr hath mean n lekar keval man svikrit karata hai. atmopalabdhi ho jane par man ka manatv bhi samapt ho jata hai aur lavan jaise jal mean ghulakar lin ho jata hai, vaise hi man bhi atmatattv mean vilin ho jata hai. phir aisi sthiti mean man ke ve bhav bhala utpann hi kahaan se ho sakate haian jo indriyoan ke marg se dau dakar vishayaroopi gram mean pahuanchate haian? phir jaise karatal mean bal nahian hote, vaise hi man mean vishay-bhavanaoan ka rattibhar bhi sthan nahian hota.

kianbahuna he arjun! man ki jab aisi sthiti ho jati hai tab yah samajhana chahiye ki vah man manasik tap ka patr hota hai. par yah vivechan bahut ho chuka. maianne is prakar tumhean manas tap ke samast lakshan batala diye haian.” bas yahi bhagavanh shrikrishn ne kaha tha. tadanantar ve phir kahane lage-“is prakar sharir, vani aur man ke sambandh se jo tap ke tin prakar hote haian, ve maianne tumhean achchhi tarah batala diye haian. ab trigunoan ke karan in trividh tapoan ke jo tin bhed hote haian, usaka vivechan bhi apane buddhi-bal ke dvara bhali-bhaanti grahan karo.[1]
