svadharmamapi chavekshy n vikampitumarhasi . tum ab bhi vichar kyoan nahian karate? tum kya soch rahe ho? jis svadharm se tumhara uddhar hone vala hai, tum usi svadharm ko bhula baithe. yadi yahaan in kauravoan ka nash ho jay ya tumhian ko kuchh ho jay ya is yug ka ant hi kyoan n ho jay, kintu phir bhi hamara jo svadharm hai, usako chho dana kisi bhi kimat par samichin nahian hai. yadi tum svadharm ko chho d doge to kya tumhari is avasar ki kripaluta tumhara uddhar kar degi? isaliye yah svadharm sarvatha tyagane yogy nahian hai. he arjun! yadi tumhara chitt is samay karuna se ot-prot ho gaya ho to aisa hona hi is yuddh ke samay sarvatha anuchit hai. godugdh bahut ruchikar hota hai; kintu phir bhi yah nahian kaha gaya hai ki jvar se pi dit kisi vyakti ko doodh ka pathy do. karan ki yadi vah visham jvar se grast kisi marij ko diya jay to vah doodh vish tuly hi ho jata hai. isi prakar prasangetar manamana karm karane se svahit ka hi nash hota hai. isaliye he parth! ab tum savadhan ho jao. tum vyarth kyoan vyakul hote ho? jis svadharm ke anusar vyavahar karane par tinoan kaloan mean bhi koee dosh nahian lagata, tum usi svadharm ki or dekho. jaise prashast marg par chalane se kabhi koee hani nahian hoti ya jaise dipak ke sahare chalane mean kabhi kahian dagamagakar girana nahian p data, vaise hi he parth! svadharm ka acharan karane se sahaj hi sab kamanaoan ki poorti hoti hai. isaliye tumhean yah bat achchhi tarah se samajh leni chahiye ki tum-jaise kshatriyoan ke liye to yuddh ke sivay aur kuchh karana kabhi uchit nahian hai. tum sab prakar se shanka rahit hokar khoob dantakar yuddh karo! ab lambi-chau di batean bahut ho chukian; jo bat ekadam pratyaksh ho, usaka vyarth vistar kyoan kiya jay?[1] |
