tapamyahamahan varshan nigrihnamyutsrijami ch .
amritan chaiv mrityushch sadasachchahamarjun ॥19॥

jis samay maian soory ka vesh dharan kar tapata hooan, us samay jal sookh jata hai. phir maian hi indr ke roop mean vrishti karata hooan, jisase sarvatr phir jal bhar jata hai. jaise agni jis samay lak di ko jalati hai us samay vah lak di hi agni ho jati hai, usi prakar marane aur marane vale-ye donoan mere hi svaroop hote haian. yahi karan hai ki jo log mrityu ke mukh mean pravesh karate haian, ve bhi mere hi roop haian aur jo amar hai, ve to svabhavatah mere roop haian hi. jo bat bahut vistar se batalane ki hai, vah ab maian tumhean ek hi bar mean batala deta hooan; dhyanapoorvak suno.

sath aur asath arthath vyakt aur avyakt, sab kuchh maian hi hooan. isiliye he arjun! aisi koee jagah nahian hai, jahaan maian n hoooan. par praniyoan ka durbhagy hi hai ki maian unhean dikhayi hi nahian deta. yadi laharean pani nahian hai, yah kahakar sookh jayan athava soory ki rashmiyaan dipak nahian hai, yah kahakar andhi ho jayan, to yah kitane ashchary ki bat hai! isi prakar yah bhi ek ashchary ki hi bat hai ki log madroop hote hue bhi yah kahakar bhrant hote haian ki ‘maian nahian hooan’. is sare jagath ke andar aur bahar keval maian hi hooan aur yah samast vishv meri hi moorti hai; par in bhagyahinoan ka karm kaisa viparit hota hai ki ve yah kahate haian ki ‘maian nahian hooan’. yah bat bhi thik vaisi hi hai, jaise koee pahale to amrit ke kuane mean gir p de aur phir kuane se bahar nikale jane ki ichchha kare, to phir bhala aise abhage ke liye kya kiya jay? he kiriti! jaise koee andha kaurabhar ann ke liye dar-dar ki thokarean khata rahata hai aur apane andhepan ke karan pair mean lagane vale chintamani ko thukara deta hai, vaisi hi dasha jnanavihin jivoan ki bhi hoti hai. isiliye vyakti ko jo kuchh karana chahiye, vah usase jnanabhav ke karan nahian ho sakata. andhe garu d ko bhi pankh hote haian; par ve kis kam ke? isi prakar jnan ke bina satkarm ka parishram (prayas) vyarth jata hai.[1]
