yadi koee manushh‍y phal pane ki ichh‍chha, agrah ya vritha asakti n rakhe; to usase yah matalab nahian paya jata ki vah apane prapt-karm ko, keval kartavh‍y samajh kar, karane ki buddhi aur uth‍sah ko bhi, is agrah ke sath hi sath, nashth kar dale. apane fayade ke siva is sansar mean jinh‍hean doosara kuchh nahian dekh p data, aur jo purush keval phal ki ichh‍chha se hi karm karane mean mash‍t rahate haian, unhean sachamuch phalasha chho d kar karm karana shaky n janchega; paranh‍tu jinaki buddhi jnan se sam aur virakt ho gee hai, unake liye kuchh kathin nahian hai. pahale to yah samajh hi galat hai, ki hamean kisi kam ka jo phal mila karata hai, vah keval hamare hi karm ka phal hai. yadi pani ki dravata aur agni ki ushh‍nata ki sahayata n mile; to manushh‍y kitana hi sir kh‍yoan n khapave, usake prayath‍n se pak‍-siddhi kabhi ho nahian sakegi-bhojan pakega hi nahian; aur agni adi mean in gun-dharmoan ko maujood rakhana ya n rakhana kuchh manushh‍y ke bas ya upay ki bat nahian hai. isi se karm-srishti ke in sh‍vayansiddh vividh vyaparoan athava dharmoan ka pahale yathashakti jnan prapt kar manushh‍y ko usi dhang se apane vh‍yav‍har karane p date haian, jisase ki ve vh‍yapar apane prayath‍n ke anukool hoan.

isase kahana chahiye, ki prayath‍noan se manushh‍y ko jo phal milata hai, vah keval usake hi prayath‍noan ka phal nahian hai, baranh usake kary aur karmasrishti ke tadanukool anek sh‍vayansiddh dharm–in donoan ke sanyog ka phal hai. paranh‍tu prayath‍noan ki saphalata ke liye is prakar jin na‍navidh srishti-vh‍yaparoan ki anukoolata avashh‍yak hai, kee bar un sab manushh‍y ko yarthath jnan nahian rahata aur kuchh sh‍thanoan par to hona shakh‍y bhi nahian hai, ise hi ‘daiv’ kahate haian. yadi phal siddhi ke liye aise srishti-vh‍yaparoan ki sahayata ath‍yannh‍t avashh‍yak hai jo hamare adhikar mean nahian aur n unh‍hean ham janate haian, to age kahana nahian hoga ki aisa abhiman karana moorkhata hai ki “keval apane prayath‍n se hi maian amuk bat kar looanga”[1]. kh‍yoanki, karm-srishti ke jnat aur ajnat vh‍yaparoan ka manavi prayath‍noan se sanyog hone par jo phal hota hai, vah keval karm ke niyamoan se hi hua karata hai; isaliye ham phal ki abhilasha karean ya n karean, phal-siddhi mean isase koee fark nahian p data; hamari phalasha alabat hamean du:khakarak ho jati hai. paranh‍tu sh‍maran rahe ki manushh‍y ke liye avashh‍yak bat akele srishti vh‍yapar sh‍vayan apani or se sanghatit ho kar nahian kar dete. chane ki roti ko sh‍vadishth banane ke liye jis prakar ate mean tho da sa namak milana p data hai, usi prakar karm-srishti ke in sh‍vayansiddh vh‍yaparoan ko manushh‍yoan ke upayogi hone ke liye unamean manavi prayath‍n ki tho di si matra milani p dati hai.
