“nanh‍y: panh‍tha vidyateayanay”[1]–(bina jnan ke) moksh praph‍ti ka doosara marg nahian hai; “poorve vidvaans: prajaan n kamayanh‍te. kian prajaya karishh‍yamo yeshaan noayamath‍maayan lok iti te h sh‍m putraishanayashch vittaishanayashr lokaishanayashch vh‍yuth‍thayath bhikshachary charanti”[2]– prachin jnani purushoan ko putr adi ki ichh‍chha n thi, aur yah samajh kar ki jab samash‍t lok hi hamara ath‍ma ho gaya hai, tab hamean (doosari) sanh‍tan kisaliye chahiyeॽ sanpati aur sh‍varg adi mean se kisi ki bhi ‘eshana’ arthat chah nahian karate the, kinh‍tu usase nivrit ho kar ve jnani purush bhikshatan karate hue ghooma karate the; athava “is riti se jo log virakh‍t ho jate haian unh‍hian ko moksh milata hai[3]; ya anh‍t mean “yadaharev virajet tadaharev pravrajet”[4]–jis din buddhi virakh‍t ho, usi din sannh‍yas le le. is prakar ved ki ajna dvividh arthat do prakar ki hone se[5] pravriti aur nivriti, ya karmayog aur saankhh‍y, inamean se jo shreshh‍th marg ho, usaka nirnay karane ke liye yah dekhana avashh‍yak hai, ki koee doosara upay hai ya nahian. achar arthat shishh‍t logoan ke vh‍yavahar ya riti-bhaanti ko dekhakar is prashh‍n ka nirnay ho sakata, paranh‍tu is samh‍banh‍dh mean shishh‍tachar bhi ubhayavidh arthat do prakar ka hai. itihas se pragat hota hai, ki shukr aur yajnavalh‍kh‍y prabhriti ne to sannh‍yas marg ka, evan janak-shrikrishh‍n aur jaigipavy pramukh jnani purushoan ne karmayog ka hi, avalamh‍b kiya tha.

isi abhipray se siddhaant paksh ki dalil mean badarayanachary ne kaha hai “tulh‍yan tu darshanam”[6]– arthat achar ki drishti se ye donoan panth saman balavan haian. sh‍mriti vachan[7] bhi aisa hai–

viveki sarvada mukh‍t: kurvato nasti kartrita.
alepavadamashrith‍y shrikrishh‍najanakau yatha..

arthat “parn brahmajnani purush sab karm karake bhi shrikrishh‍n aur janak ke saman akarta, aliph‍t evan sarvada mukh‍t hi rahata hai. “aise hi bhagavadgita mean bhi karmayog ki paramh‍para batalate hue manu, ikshh‍vaku adi ke nam batala kar kaha hai ki” evan “jnath‍va kritan karm poovairapi mumukshubhi:”[8]– aisa jan kar prachin janak adi jnani purushoan ne karm kiya. yogavasishh‍th aur bhagavat mean janak ke siva isi prakar ke doosare bahut se udaharan diye gaye haian[9]. yadi kisi ko shanka ho, ki janak adi poorn brahmajnani n the; to yogavasishh‍th mean sh‍pashh‍t likha hai, ki ye sab ‘jivanh‍mukh‍t’ the. yogavasishh‍th mean hi kh‍yoan, mahabharat mean bhi katha hai, ki vh‍yasaji ne apane putr shuk ko mokshadharm ka poorn jnan praph‍t kar lane ke liye anh‍t mean janak ke yahaan bheja tha[10].
