isi se kahana p data hai ki samh‍pradayik agrah ki yah kori dalil sarvatha th‍yajh‍y aur anuchit hai, tatha gita mean jnanayukh‍t karmayog ka hi upedash kiya gaya hai. ab tak yah batalaya gaya ki siddhavash‍tha ke vh‍yavahar ke vishay mean bhi, karmath‍yag (saankhh‍y) aur karmayog (yog) ye donoan marg n keval hamare hi desh mean, varanh anh‍y deshoan mean bhi prachin samay se prachalit paye jate haian. anantar, is vishay mean, gitashash‍tr ke do mukhh‍y siddhaant batalaye gaye:-

  1. ye donoan marg sh‍vatanh‍tr arthat moksh ki drishti se parash‍par nirapeksh aur tulh‍y bal vale haian, ek doosare ka aang nahian; aur
  2. inamean karmayog hi adhik prashash‍t hai. aur, in donoan siddhanh‍toan ke ath‍yant sh‍pashh‍t hote hue bhi tikakaroan ne isaka viparyas kis prakar aur kh‍yoan kiya, isi bat ko dikhalane ke liye yah sari prash‍tavana likhani p di. a‍b, gita mean diye hue un karanoan ka niroopan kiya jayaga, jo prash‍tut prakaran ki is mukhh‍y bat ko siddh karate haian, ki siddhavash‍tha mean bhi karmath‍yag ki apeksha amarananh‍t karm karate rahane ka marg arthat karmayog hi adhik shreyash‍kar hai. inamean se kuchh batoan ka khulasa to sukh-du:kh ka, isaliye vahaan is vishay ki poori charcha nahian ki ja saki. atev, is vishay ki charcha ke liye hi yah sh‍vatantr prakaran likha gaya hai.

vaidik dharm ke do bhag haian– karmakanh‍d aur jnanakanh‍d. pichhale prakaran mean unake bhed batala diye gaye haian. karmakanh‍d mean arthat brahman adi shraut grannh‍thoan mean aur aanshat: upanishadoan mean bhi aise sh‍pashh‍t vachan haian, ki prath‍yek grihash‍th– phir chahe vah brahman ho ya kshatriy– agnihotr karake yathadhikar jh‍yotishh‍tom adik yajn-yag kare aur vivah karake vansh badhave. udaharanarth, “etadvai jaramary satran yadagnihotram” – is agniroop satr ko maran paryant jari rakhana chahiye[1]; “prajatantu ma vh‍yavachh‍chheth‍si:”– vansh ke dhage ko tootane n do [2]; athava “eeshavash‍yamidan sarvam”– sansar mean jo kuchh hai, use parameshh‍var mean adhishthit kare arthat aisa samajhe, ki mera kuchh nahian usi ka hai, aur is nishh‍kam buddhi se–

kurvanh‍neveh karmani jijivishechh‍chhatan sama:.
evan th‍vayi nanh‍yathetoasti n karm liph‍yate nare..

“karm karate rah kar hi sau varsh arthat ayushh‍y ki maryada ke anh‍t tak jine ki ichh‍chha rakhe, evan aisi eeshavash‍y buddhi se karm karega to un karmoan ka tujhe (purush ko) lep (banh‍dhan) nahian lagega; isake atirikh‍t (lep athava banh‍dhan se bachane ke liye) doosara marg nahian hai[3]; ith‍yadi vachanoan ko dekho. paranh‍tu jab ham karmakanh‍d se jnanakanh‍d mean jate haian, tab hamare vaidik granh‍thoan mean hi anek viruddh pakshiy vachan bhi milate haian, jaise “brahmavidanpoti paramh‌”[4]- brahmajnan se moksh prapt hota hai.
