is prakaran mean age vish‍tar sahit vichar kiya gaya hai, ki ye anh‍y karan kaun se haian. yahaan itana hi kahe dete haian, ki jo arjun sannh‍yas lene ke liye taiyar ho gaya tha usako ye karan batalane ke nimitt hi gitashash‍tr ki pravriti huee hai; aur aisa anuman nahian kiya ja sakata, ki chitt ki shuddhi ke pashh‍chat moksh mean liye karmoan ki anavashh‍yakata batalakar gita mean sannh‍yas marg hi ka pratipadan kiya gaya hai. shankarachary ka yah mat hai sahi ki jnan-prapti ke anantar sannh‍yasashram le kar karmoan ko chho d hi dena chahiye; parantu usase yah nahian siddh hota ki gita ka tath‍pary bhi vahi hona chahiye; aur n hi yahi bat siddh hoti hai ki akele shaankarasamapraday ko ya anh‍y kisi samh‍praday ko ‘dharm’ manakar usi ke anukool gita ka kisi prakar arth laga lena chahiye. gita ka to yahi sthir siddhaant hai, ki jnan ke pashh‍chat bhi sannh‍yas marg grahan karane ki apeksha karmayog ko sh‍vikar karana hi uth‍tamapaksh hai. phir use chahe nirala samh‍praday kaho ya aur kuchh usaka nam rakho. parantu is bat par bhi dhh‍yan dena chahiye, ki yadyapi gita ko karmayog hi shreshh‍th jan p data hai, tathapi anh‍y paramatasahishh‍nu samh‍pradayoan ki bhaanti usaka yah agrah nahian, ki sannh‍yas marg ko sarvatha th‍yajh‍y manana chahiye. gita mean sannh‍yasamarg ke samh‍banh‍dh mean kahian bhi anadar bhav nahian dikhalaya gaya hai.

isake viruddh, bhagavan ne sh‍pashh‍t kaha hai, ki sannh‍yas aur karmayog donoan marg ek hi se ni:shreyash‍kar– mokshadayak– athava mokshadrishti se saman moolh‍yavan haian. aur age is prakar ki yuktiyoan se in do bhinh‍n-bhinh‍n margoan ki ekaroopata bhi kar dikhalaee hai ki “ekan saankhh‍yan ch yogan ch y: pashh‍yati s pashh‍yati”[1]– jisase yah maloom ho gaya ki, ye donoan marg ek hi hai arthat saman balavale haian, use hi sachh‍cha tath‍vajnan hua; ya ‘karmayog’ ho, to usamean bhi phalasha ka sannh‍yas karana hi p data hai. “n hmasannh‍yash‍tasankalh‍po yogi bhavati kashchan”[2]. yadyapi jnan-prapti ke anantar (pahale hi nahian) karm ka sannh‍yas karana ya karmayog sh‍vikar karana, donoan marg mokshadrishti se ek si yogh‍yata ke hai; tathapi lokavh‍yavahar ki drishti se vicharane par yahi marg sarvashreshh‍th hai, ki buddhi mean sannh‍yas rakhakar arthat nishh‍kam buddhi se dehendriyoan ke dvara jivan paryanh‍t lokasangrah karak sab kary kiye jay. kh‍yoanki bhagavan ka nishh‍chit upadesh hai ki is upay se sannh‍yas aur karm donoan sthir rahate haian evan tadanusar hi, phir arjun yuddh ke liye pravrit ho gaya. jnani aur ajnani mean yahi to itana bhed hai. keval sharir arthat dehendriyo ke karm, dekhe to donoan ke ek se hoange hi; paranh‍tu ajnani manushh‍y unh‍hean asakh‍t buddhi se aur jnani manushh‍y anasakh‍t buddhi se kiya karata hai[3].
