isiliye shash‍trakar mrith‍yu se pahale ke kal ki apeksha maran-kal hi ka vishesh mahath‍vapoorn manate haian, aur yah kahate haian ki is samay yani mrith‍yu ke samay brahmath‍maikh‍y-jnan ka anubhav avashh‍y hona chahiye, nahian to moksh nahian hoga. isi abhipray se upanishadoan ke adhar par gita mean kaha gaya hai ki “anh‍takal mean mera ananh‍y bhav se sh‍maran karane par manushh‍y mukh‍t hota hai”[1]. is siddhanh‍t ke anusar kahana p data hai ki yadi koee durachari manushh‍y apani sari ayu duracharan mean vh‍yatit kare aur keval anh‍t samay mean brahmajnan pa jave, to vah bhi mukh‍t ho jata hai. is par kuchh logoan ka kahana hai, ki yah bat yuktisangat nahian. paranh‍tu tho da sa vichar karane par maloom hota hoga ki yah bat anuchit nahian kahi ja sakati– yah bilakul sath‍y aur sayuktik hai. vash‍tut: yah sanbhav nahian ki jisaka sara janh‍m durachar mean bita ho, use keval mrith‍yu-samay mean hi brahmajnan ho jave. anh‍y sab batoan ke saman hi brahmanishth hone ke liye man ko adat dalani p dati hai; aur jise is janh‍m mean ek bar bhi brahmath‍maikh‍y-jnan ka anubhav nahian hua hai, use keval maranakal mean hi usaka ekadam ho jana param durghat ya asanbhav bhi hai.

isiliye gita ka doosara mahath‍vapoorn kathan yah hai ki man ko vishay-vasana rahit banane ke liye prath‍yek manushh‍y ko sadaiv abhh‍yas karate rahana chahiye, jisaka phal yah hoga ki anh‍takal mean bhi yahi sthiti bani rahegi aur mukti bhi avashh‍y ho jayegi[2]. paranh‍tu shash‍tr ki chhanabin karane ke liye man lijiye ki poorv sansh‍kar adi karanoan se kisi manushh‍y ko keval mrith‍yu-samay mean hi brahmajnan ho gaya. aisa udaharan lakhoan-karo doan manushyoan mean ekadh hi mil sakega. chahe esa udaharan mile ya n mile, is vichar ko ek or rakh kar hamean yahi dekhana hai ki yadi aisi sthiti praph‍t ho jay to kh‍ya hoga. jnan chahe maranakal mean hi kh‍yoan n ho, paranh‍tu isase manushh‍y ke anarabh‍dh–sanchit ka kshay hota hi hai; aur is janh‍m ke bhog se arabh‍dh–sanchit ka kshay mrith‍yu ke samay ho jata hai. isaliye use kuchh bhi karm bhogana baki nahian rah jata hai; aur yahi siddh hota hai ki vah sab karmoan se arthat sansar-chakr se mukh‍t ho jata hai. yahi siddhanh‍t gita ke is vakh‍y mean kaha gaya hai ki “api cheth suduracharo bhajate mamananh‍yabhakh”[3]–yadi koee b da durachari manushh‍y bhi parameshh‍var ka ananh‍y bhav se sh‍maran karega to vah bhi mukh‍t ho jayaga; aur yah siddhanh‍t sansar ke anh‍y sab dharmoan mean bhi grahy mana gaya hai.
