karm sh‍vabhavat: aandh, achetan ya mrit hota hai; vah n to kisi ko sh‍vany pak data hai aur n kisi ko chho data hi hai; vah sh‍vayan n achh‍chha hai, n bura. manushh‍y apane ji ko in karmoan mean phansa kar inh‍hean apani asakti se achh‍chha ya bura, aur shubh ya ashubh bana leta hai. isaliye kaha ja sakata hai ki is mamath‍v yukh‍t-asakti ke chhootane par karm ke banh‍dhan ap hi toot jate haian; phir chahe ve karm bane rahean ya chale jayan. gita mean bhi sh‍than sh‍than par yahi upadesh diya gaya hai ki:- sachh‍cha naishh‍karmh‍y isi mean hai, karm ka th‍yag karane mean nahian[1]; tera adhikar keval karm karane ka hai, phal ka milana n milana tere adhikar ki bat nahian hai[2]; “karmendriyai: karmayogamasakh‍t:”[3]– phal ki asha n rakh karmendriyoan ko karm karane de; “th‍yakh‍th‍va karmaphalasangam”[4] –karmaphal ka th‍yag kar, “sarvabhootath‍mabhootath‍ma kurvannapi n liph‍yate”[5]– jin purushoan ki samash‍t praniyoan mean samabuddhi ho jati hai unake kiye hue karm unake banh‍dhan ka karan nahian ho sakate; “sarvakarmaphalath‍yagan kuru”[6]– sab karmaphaloan ka th‍yag kar; “kary mith‍yev yath‍karm niyatan kriyate”[7]–keval kartavh‍y samajh kar jo praph‍t karm kiya jata hai vahi sattvik hai; “chetasa sarvakarmani m‍yi sannh‍yash‍y”[8] sab karmoan ko mujhe apoorn karake bartav kar.

in sab upadeshoan ka rahash‍y vahi hai jisaka ulh‍lekh oopar kiya gaya hai. yah ek sh‍vatantr prashh‍n hai ki jnani manushh‍yoan ko sab vh‍yavaharik karm karana chahiye ya nahian. isake samh‍banh‍dh mean gitashash‍tr ka jo siddhaant hai usaka vichar agale prakaran mean kiya jayaga. abhi to keval yahi dekhana hai ki jnan se sab karmoan ke bhash‍m ho jane ka arth kh‍ya hai; aur oopar diye gaye vachanoan se is vishay ke samh‍banh‍dh mean gita ka jo abhipray hai, vah bhali-bhaanti pragat ho jata hai. vh‍yavahar mean bhi isi nh‍yay ka upayog kiya jata hai. udaharanarth, yadi ek manushh‍y ne kisi doosare manushh‍y ko dhokhe se dhakh‍ka de diya to ham use ujadd nahian kahate. isi tarah yadi durghatana se kisi ki mrith‍yu ho jati hai to use phaujadari kanoon ke anusar khoon nahian samajhate. agh‍ni se ghar jal jata hai athava pani se saikadoan khet bah jate haian, to kh‍ya agh‍ni aur pani ko koee doshi samajhata hai. keval karmoan ki aur dekhe to manushh‍y ki drishti se prath‍yek karm mean kuchh n kuchh dosh ya avagun avashh‍y hi milega “sarvaranbha hi doshena dhoomenagririvavrita:”[9]. paranh‍tu yah vah dosh nahian hai ki jise chho dane ke liye gita kahati hai manushh‍y ke kisi karm ko jab ham achh‍chha ya bura kahate haian, tab yah achh‍chhapan ya burapan yatharth mean us karm mean nahian rahata, kinh‍tu karm karane vale manushh‍y ki buddhi mean rahata hai.
