[1]sat (aankhoan se dekh p dane vala) aur vah (jo pare hai), vachy oair anirvachy, sadhar aur niradhar, jnat aur avijnat (ajney), saty aur amrit,is prakar dvidha bana hua hai. parantu is prakar brahm ko ‘anrit’ kahane se anrit ka arth jhooth ya asaty nahi hai; kyoanki age chal kar taittiriy upanishad mean hi kaha hai ki “yah anrit brahm jagath ki ‘pratishtha’ athava adhar hai, ise aur doosare adhar ki apeksha nahian hai, evan jisane isako jan liya vah abhay ho gaya.’’ is varnan se spasht ho jata hai ki shabd-bhed ke karan bhavarth mean kuchh antar nahian hota hai. aise hi ant mean kaha hai ki “asadva idamagr asit’’- yah sara jagat pahale asath (brahm)tha, aur rrigved ke[2]. varnan ke anusar age chalakar usi se sath yani nam-roopatmak vyakt jagat nikala hai [3]. isase bhi spasht ho jata hai ki yahaan par ‘asath’ shabh‍d ka prayog avyakt arthat aankhoan se n dekh p dane vale ke arth mean hi hua hai; aur vedantasootroan[4] mean badarayanachary ne ukt vachanoan ka aisa hi arth kiya hai. kintu jin logoan ko ‘sath’ athava ‘saty’ shabd ka yah arth (oopar batalaye hue artho mean se doosara arth) sammat hai-aankhoan se n dekh p dane par bhi sadaiv rahanevala athava tikaoo ve -us adrishy parabrahm ko hi sat ya saty kahate haian ki jo kabhi bhi nahian badalata aur nam-roopatmak maya ko asat yani asatyan arthat vinashi kahate haian.

udaharanarth, chhandogy mean varnan kiya gaya hai ki “sadaiv saumyedamagr asith kathamasatah sajjayet’’- pahale yah sara jagat sat (brahma) tha, jo asath hai yani nahian haian usase sath, yani jo vidyaman hai maujood haian- kaise utpann hoga[5]? phir bhi chhandogy upanishad mean hi is parabrahm ke liye ek sthan par avyakt arth mean ‘asath’ shabd prayukt hua hai[6]. ek hi parabrahm ko bhinn bhinn samayoan aur arthoan mean ek bar ‘sath’ to ek bar ‘asath’ yoan paraspar-viruddh nam dene ki yah g dab d-arthat vachy arth ke ek hi hone par bhi nira shabd-vad machavane mean sahayak- pranali age chal kar ruk gee; aur ant mean itani hi ek paribhasha sthir ho gee hai ki brahm sath ya saty yani sadaiv sthir rahanevala hai, aur drishy srishti asath arthath nashavan hai. bhagavadgita mean yahi antim paribhasha mani gee hai aur isi ke anusar doosare adhyay[7] mean kah diya hai ki parabrahm sat aur avinashi hai, evan nam-roop asath arthatri nashavanh haian; aur vedantasootroan ka bhi aisa hi mat hai. phir bhi drishy srishti ko 'sat' kah kar parabrahm ko ‘asath’ ya ‘tyath’ (vah = pare ka) kahane ki taittiriyopanishadavali is purani paribhasha ka namonishaan ab bhi bilkul jata nahian raha hai.
