vah aankhoan se dekh nahian p data; vah vani ke aur man ko bhi agochar hai- ‘‘yato vacho nivartante aprapy manasa sah." phir bhi adhyatmashastr ne nishchay kiya hai ki is agamy sthiti mean bhi manushy apani buddhi se brahm ke svaroop ka ek prakar se nirnay kar sakata hai. oopar jo vasana, smriti, dhriti, asha, pran aur jnan prabhriti avyakt padarth batalaye gaye haian, unamean se jo sabase atishay vyapak athava sabase shreshth nirnit ho, usi ko parabrahm ka svaroop manana chahiye. kyoanki yah to nirvivad hi hai ki sab avyakt padarthoan mean parabrahm shreshth hai. ab is drishti se asha, smriti, vasana aur dhriti adi ka vichar karean to ye sab man ke dharm haian, atev inaki apeksha man shreshh‍th hua, man se shreshh‍th jnan hai aur jnan hai buddhi ka dharm, atah jnan se buddhi shreshth huee; aur ant mean yah buddhi bhi jisaki naukar hai vah atma hi sabase shreshth hai[1]. kshetr-kshetrajn-prakaran mean isaka vichar kiya gaya hai. ab vasana aur man adi sab avyakt padarthoan se yadi atma shreshth hai, to ap hi siddh ho gaya ki parabrahm ka svaroop bhi vahi[2] atma hoga.

chhandogy upanishad ke satavean adhyay mean isi yukti se kam liya gaya hai; aur sanatkumar ne narad se kaha hai ki vani ki apeksha man adhik yogh‍yata ka (bhooyas) hai, man se jnan, jnan se bal aur isi prakar chadhate-chadhate jabaki ath‍ma sab se shresht (bhooman) hai, tab atma hi ko parabrahm ka sachcha svaroop kahana chahiye. aangrej granthakaroan mean grin ne isi siddhant ko mana hai; kintu usaki yuktiyaan kuchh kuchh bhinn haian. isaliye yahaan unhean sankshep se vedant ki paribhasha mean batalate haian. grin ka kathan hai ki hamare man par indriyoan ke dvara bahy nam-roop ke jo sanskar hua karate haian, unake ekikaran se atma ko jnan hota hai; us jnan ke mel ke liye bahy srishti ke bhinn-bhinn nam-roopoan ke mool mean bhi ekata se rahane vali koee n koee vastu honi chahiye; nahian to atma ke ekikaran se jo jnan utpann hota hai vah svakapol-kalpit aur niradhar hokar vijnan-vad ke saman asaty pramanit ho jayaga. is ‘koee n koee’ vastu ko ham brahm kahate haian; bhed itana hi hai ki kant ki paribhasha ko man kar grin usako vastutattv kahata hai. kuchh bhi kaho, ant mean vastutattv (brahm) aur atma ye hi do padarth rah jate haian, ki jo paraspar ke mel ke haian.
