is prakar bhinn bhinn samay mean ek ke bad doosare, jo anek sanskar hamare man par hote haian, unhean ham apani smaran-shakti se yad kar ekatr rakhate haian; aur jab vah padarth-samooh hamari drishti ke samane a jata hai, tab un sab bhinn bhinn sanskaroan ka jnan ekata ke roop mean ho kar ham kahane lagate haian ki hamare samane se ‘phauj’ ja rahi hai. is seva ke pichhe jane vale padarth ka roop dekh kar ham nishh‍chay karate haian ki vah ‘raja’ hai. aur, ‘phauj’ sanbandhi pahale sanskar ko tatha ‘raja’ sanbandhi is nootan sanskar ko ekatr kar ham kahate haian ki yah ‘raja ki savari ja rahi hai’. isaliye kahana p data hai ki srishti-jnan keval indriyoan se prath‍yaksh dikhaee dene vala j d padarth nahian hai; kintu indriyoan ke dvara man par hone vale anek sanskaroan ya parinamoan ka jo ‘ekikaran’ ‘drashta atma’ kiya karata hai, usi ekikaran ka phal jnan hai.

isiliye bhagavadgita mean bhi jnan ka lakshan is prakar kaha hai-‘‘avibhaktanan vibhakteshu’’ arthat jnan vahi hai ki jisase vibhakt ya niralepan mean avibhakta ya ekata ka bodh ho [1][2]. parantu is vishay ka yadi sookshm vichar kiya jaye ki indriyoan ke dvara man par jo sanskar pratham hote haian ve kis vastu ke haian; to jan p dega ki yadyapi aankh, kan, nak ityadi indriyoan se padarth ke roop, shabd, gandh adi gunoan ka jnan hamean hota hai tathapi jis padarth mean ye bahy gun haian usake antarik sh‍varoop ke vishay mean hamari indriyaan hamean kuchh bhi nahian batala sakati. ham yah dekhate haian ki ‘gili mitti’ ka gh da banata hai; parantu yah nahian jan sakate ki jise ham ‘gili mitrii’ kahate haian, us padarth ka yatharth tattvik sh‍varoop kya hai.

chikanaee, gilapan, maila rang ya golakar (roop), ityadi gun jab indriyoan ke dvara man ko prithakh prithakh maloom ho jate haian tab un sab sanskaroan ka ekikaran karake ‘drashta’ atma kahata hai ki ‘yah gili mitti hai;’ aur age isi dravy ki [3] gol tatha poli akriti ya roop, than than avaj aur sookhapan ityadi gun jab indriyoan ke dvara man ko maloom ho jate haian tab atma unaka ekikaran karake use ‘gh da’ kahata hai. saraansh, sara bhed ‘roop ya akar ’ mean hi hota rahata hai; aur jab inhian gunoan ke sanskaroan ko, jo man par hua karate haian, ‘drashta’ atma ekatr kar leta hai, tab ek hi tattvik padarth ko anek nam prapt ho jate haian. isaka sab se saral udaharan samudr aur tarang ka, ya sona aur alankar ka hai; kyoanki in donoan udaharanoan mean rang, gadhapan-patalapan, vajan adi gun ek hi se rahate haian aur keval roop akar tatha nam yahi do gun badalate rahate haian. isiliye vedant mean ye saral udaharan hamesha paye jate haian.
