kyoanki, pahale sagun roop ka jnan hone par hi, dhire dhire ek ek gun ka tyag karane se, nirgun sh‍varoop ka anubhav ho sakata hai ; aur isi riti se brahmapratik ki chadhati huee upasana upanishadoan mean batalaee gee hai. udaharanarth taitiriy upanishad ka bhriguvalli mean varun ne bhrigu ko pahale yahi upadesh kiya hai ki ann hi brahm hai; phir kram kram se pran, man, vijnan aur anand- in brahmaroopoan ka jnan use kara diya hai.[1]. athava aisa bhi kaha ja sakata hai, ki gun- bodhak visheshanoan se nirgun roop ka varnan karana asambhav hai, atev paraspar-virodhi visheshanoan se hi usaka varnan karana p data hai. isaka karan yah hai, ki jab ham kisi vastu ke sambanh‍dh mean ‘door’ ya ‘sat’ shabdoan ka upayog karate haian, tab hamean kisi any vastu ke ‘samip’ ya ‘asat’ hone ka bhi apratyaksh roop se bodh ho jaya karata hai. parantu yadi ek hi brahm sarvavyapi hai, to parameshvar ko ‘door’ ya ‘sat’ kah kar ‘samip’ ya ‘asat’ kise kahaian? aisi avastha mean ‘door nahian, samip nahian; sat nahian, asat nahian’- is prakar ki bhasha ka upayog karane se door aur samip, sat aur asat ityadi paraspar sapeksh gunoan ki jo diyaan bilaga di jati haian; aur yah bodh hone ke liye paraspar-viruddh visheshanoan ki bhasha ka hi vyavahar mean upayog karana p data hai ki jo kuchh nirgun, sarvavyapi, sarvada nirapeksh aur svatantr bacha hai, vahi sachcha brahm hai [2].

jo kuchh hai vah sab brahm hi hai, isaliye door bhi vahi, samip bhi vahi, sat bhi vahi aur asat bhi vahi hai. atev doosari drishti se usi brahm ka ek hi samay paraspar virodhi visheshanoan ke dvara varnan kiya ja sakata hai [3]. ab yadyapi ubhayavidh sagun-nirgun varnan ki utpatti is prakar batala chuke; tathapi is bat ka spashtikaran rah hi jata hai, ki ek hi parameshvar ke paraspar virodhi do sh‍varoop -sagun aur nirgun- kaise ho sakate haian. mana ki jab avyakt parameshvar vyakt roop arthat indriy-gochar roop dharan karata hai, tab vah usaki maya kahalati hai; parantu jab vah vyakt- yani indriy-gochar- n hote hue avyakt roop mean hi nirgun ka sagun ho jata hai, tab use kya kahean? udaharanarth, ek hi nirakar parameshvar ko koee ‘neti neti’ kah kar nirgun manate haian aur koee use sattvagun-sampann, sarvakarma tatha dayalu manate haian. isaka rahasy kya hai? ukt donoan mean shreshth paksh kaunasa hai ? is nirgun aur avyakt brahm se sari vyakt srishti aur jiv ki uth‍patti kaise huee? -ityadi batoan ka khulasa ho jana avashyak hai. yah kahana manoan adhyatmashastr ki j d hi ko katana hai ki, sab sankalpoan ka data avyakt parameshvar to yatharth mean sagun hai aur upanishadoan mean ya gita mean nirgun-sh‍varoop ka jo varnan kiya jata hai, vah keval atishayokti ya prashansa hai.
