saankhyoan ki prakriti yadyapi avyakt hai tathapi vah trigunatmak arthath sagun hai. parantu prakriti aur purush ka vichar karate samay bhagavadgita ke athavean adhyay ke bisavean shlok mean[1]kaha hai, ki jo sagun hai vah nashavanh hai isaliye is avyakt aur sagun prakriti ka bhi nash ho jane par ant mean jo kuchh avyakt shesh rah jata hai, vahi sari srishti ka sachcha aur nity tattv hai. aur age pandrahavean adhyay mean[2]mean kshar aur akshar, vyakt aur avyakt- is bhaanti saankhyashastr ke anusar do tattv batala kar yah varnan kiya hai:-

uttamah purushastvanyah paramatmetyudahritah . yo lokatrayamavishy bibhartyavyay eeshvarah ..

arthath, jo in donoan se bhi bhinn hai vahi uttam purush hai, usi ko paramatma kahate haian, vahi avyay aur sarvashaktiman hai, aur vahi tinoan loko mean vyapt ho kar unaki raksha karata hai. yah purush kshar aur akshar arthath vyakt aur avyakt, in donoan se bhi pare hai, isaliye ise ‘purushotamh’ kaha hai [3]. mahabharat mean bhi bhrigu rrishi ne bharadvaj se ‘paramatma’ shabd ki vyakhya batalate hue kaha haiah-

atma kshetrajn ityuktah sanyuktah prakritairgunai.. tairave tu vinirmuktah paramatmetyudahritah ..

arthath ‘‘jab atma prakriti mean ya sharir mean baddh rahata hai tab use kshetrajn ya jivatma kahate haian; vahi, prakrit gunoan se yani prakriti ya sharir ke gunoan se, mukt hone par, ‘paramatma’ kahalata hai” [4]. sambhav hai ki ‘paramatma’ ki uparyukt do vyakhyaean do bhinn-bhinn jan p dean, parantu vastutah ve bhinn-bhinn haian nahian. kshar-akshar srishti aur jiv ( athava saankhyashastr ke anusar avyakt prakriti aur purush ) in donoan se bhi pare ek paramatma hai isaliye kabhi kaha jata hai ki vah jiv ke ya jivatma ke [5] pare hai-evan ek hi paramatma ki aisi dvividh vyakhyaean kahane mean, vastutah koee bhinnata nahian ho jati. isi abhipray ko man mean rakh kar kalidas ne bhi kumarasambhav mean parameshvar ka varnan is prakar kiya hai- ‘‘purush ke labh ke liye udyut hone vali prakriti bhi too hi hai aur svayan udasin rah kar us prakriti ka drashta bhi too hi hai"[6]. isi bhaanti gita mean bhagavanh kahate haian ki ‘‘mam yonirmahadabrahm” yah prakriti meri yoni ya mera ek sh‍varoop hai[7] aur jiv ya atma bhi mera hi aansh hai[8]. satavean adhyay mean bhi kaha hai-

bhoomirapoanalo vayuah khan mano buddhirev ch. ahankar itiyan me bhinna prakritirashtagha..

arthath ‘‘prithvi, jal, agni, vayu, akash, man, buddhi aur ahankar-is tarah ath prakar ki meri prakriti hai; aur isake siva[9]sare sansar ka dharan jisane kiya vah jiv bhi meri hi doosari prakriti hai‘‘[10]. mahabharat ke shantiparv mean saankhyoan ke pachchis tattvoan ka kee sthaloan par vivechan hai; parantu vahian yah bhi kah diya gaya hai, ki in pachchis tattvoan ke pare ek chhabbisavaan ( shadviansh ) param tattv hai, jise pahachane bina manushy ‘buddh’ nahian ho sakata [11].
