pratyek purush aur prakriti ka jab sanyog hota hai tab prakriti apane gunoan ka jala us purush ke samane phailati hai aur purush usaka upabhog karata rahata hai. aisa hote-hote jis purush ke charoan or ki prakriti ke khel sattvik ho jate haian, us purush ko hi ( sab purushoan ko nahian ) sachcha jnan prapt hota hai; aur us purush ke liye hi, prakriti ke sab khel band ho jate haian evan vah apane mool tatha kaivaly pad ko pahuanch jata hai. parantu, yadyapi us purush ko moksh mil gaya, to bhi shesh sab purushoan ko sansar mean phanse hi rahana p data hai. kadachith koee yah samajhe, ki jyoanhi purush is prakar kaivaly pad ko pahuanch jata hai tyoanhi vah ekadam prakriti ke jale se chhoot jata hoga; parantu saankhy-mat anusar yah samajh galat hai. deh aur indriy roopi prakriti ke vikar, us manushy ki mrityu tak use nahian chho date. saankhy-vadi isaka yah karan batalate haian ki, ‘‘ jis prakar kumhar ka pahiya, gh da ban kar nikal liya jane par bhi, poorv sanskar ke karan kuchh der tak ghoomata hi rahata hai; usi prakar kaivaly pad ki prapti ho jane par bhi us manushy ka sharir kuchh samay tak shesh rahata hai ‘‘ [1]. tathapi,us sharir se, kaivaly pad par aroodh hone vale purush ko kuchh bhi a dachan ya sukh-duahkh ki badha nahian hoti.

kyoanki, yah sharir j d prakriti ka vikar hone ke karan svayan j d hi hai, isaliye ise sukh-dukh donoan saman hi haian aur yadi yah kaha jay ki purush ko sukh-duahkh ki badha hoti hai, to yah bhi thik nahi; kyoanki use maloom hai ki maian prakriti se bhinn hooan, tab kartrivy prakriti ka hai, mera nahian. aisi avastha mean prakriti ke manamane khel hua karate haian, parantu use sukh-duahkh nahian hota aur vah sada udasin hi rahata hai. jo purush prakriti ke tinoan gunoan se chhoot kar yah jnan prapt nahian kar leta, vah janm-maran se chhutti nahian pa sakata; chahe vah sattvagun ke utkarsh ke karan devayoni mean janm le, ya rajogun ke utkarsh ke karan manav-yoni mean janm le, ya tamogun ki prabalata ke karan pashu-koti mean janm leve[2]. janm-maranaroopi chakr ke ye phal, pratyek manushy ko, usake charoan or ki prakriti arthath usaki buddhi ke sattv-raj-tam gunoan ke utkarsh-apakarsh ke karan prapt hua karate haian.

gita mean bhi kaha hai ki ‘‘ oordhv gachchhanti sasvasthaah “ sattvik vriti ke purush svarg ko jate haian aur tamas purushoan ko adhogati prapt hoti hai [3]. parantu svargadi phal anith‍y haian. jis janm-maran se chhutti pana hai, ya saankhyoan ki paribhasha ke anusar jise prakriti se apani bhinnata arthath kaivaly chirasthayi rakhana hai, use trigunatit ho kar virakt ( sannyast ) hone ke siva doosara marg nahian hai. kapilachary ko yah vairagy aur jnan janmate hi prapt hua tha. parantu yah sthiti sab logoan ko janm hi se prapt nahian ho sakati, isaliye tattv-vivek roop sadhan se prakriti aur purush ki bhinnata ko pahachan kar pratyek purush ko apani buddhi shuddh kar lene ka yatn karana chahiye.
