nagaraj ka ghar lautana, pathtni ke sath unaki dharmavishayak batachit tatha patni ka unase brahman ko darshan dene ke liye anurodh

bhishmaji kahate haian - yudhishthir! tadanantar kee dinoan tak samay poora hone par nagaraj ka kam poora ho gaya, tab sooryadev ki ajnapakar ve apane ghar ko laute. vahaan nagaraj ki patni pair dhone ke liye jal-pady adi uttam samagriyoan ke sath pati ki seva mean upasthit huee. apani sadhvi patni ko samip ayi dekh nagaraj ne poochha-. ‘kalyani! mere dvara batayi huee upayukt vidhi se yukt ho tum mere hi saman devataoan aur atithiyoan ke poojan mean tatpar to rahi ho n ? ‘sundari! mere viyog ne tumhean shithil to nahian kar diya tha ? tumhari stri-buddhi ke karan kahian dharm ki maryada asaphal ya arakshit to nahian rah gayi aur usake karan tum dharm-palan se vimukh ya door to nahian ho gayi ?

nagapatni ne kaha - shishyoan ka dharm hai guru ki seva karana, brahmanoan ka dharm hai vedoan ko dharan karana, sevakoan ka dharm hai svami ki ajna ka palan tatha raja ka dharm hai prajavarg ka satat sanrakshan. is jagath mean samast praniyoan ki raksha karana kshatriy-dharm bataya jata hai. atithi-satkar ke sath-sath yajnoan ka anushthan karana vaishyoan ka dharm kaha gaya hai. nagaraj! brahman, kshatriy aur vaishy- tinoan varnoan ki seva karana shoodr ka kartavy bataya gaya hai aur samast praniyoan ke hit ki ichchha rakhana grihasth ka dharm hai. niyamit ahar ka sevan aur vidhivath vrat ka palan sabaka dharm hai. dharm-palan ke sambandh se indriyoan ki vishesh roop se shuddhi hoti hai. ‘maian kisaka hooan ? kahaan se aya hooan, mera kaun hai , tatha is jivan ka prayojan kya hai ?’ ityadi batoan ka sada vichar karate hue hi sannyasi ko sannyas-ashram mean rahana chahiye. nagaraj! patni ke liye pativraty hi sabase badatra dharm kaha jata hai. apake upadesh se apane us dharm ko maian achachhi tarah samajhati hooan. jab an- mere patidev sada dharm par sthit rahate haian, tab dharm ko janati hooee bhi maian kaise sanmarg ka tyag karake kumarg par pair rakhooangi ? mahabhag! devataoan ki aradhana roop dharmacharya me koee kami nahian ayi hai, atithiyoan ke satkar mean bhi maian sada alasy chho dakar lagi rahi hooan. parantu aj pandrah din se ek brahman devata yahaan padhare hunh haian. ve mujhase apana koee kary nahian bata rahe haian. keval apaka darshan chahate haian. ve kathor vrat ka palan karane vale brahman vedoan ka parayan karate hue apake darshan ke liye utyuk ho gomati ke kinare baiie hue haian. nagaraj! unhoanne mujhase pahale sachchi pratijna kara li hai ki nagaraj ke ate hi tum unhean mere pas bhej dena. mahaprajn nagaraj! meri yah bat sunakar ab apako vahaan jana chahiye aur brahman devata ko darshan dena chahiye.
