apatti ke samay raja ka dharm


yudhishthir ne poochha- bharat! yadi raja ke shatru adhik ho jayan, mitr usaka sath chho dane lagean aur sena tatha khajana bhi nasht ho jay to usake liye kaun-sa marg hitakar hai? dusht manh‍tri hi jisaka sahayak ho, isaliye jo shreshth paramarsh bhrasht ho evan rajh‍y se jisake bhrasht ho jane ki samh‍bhavana ho aur jise apani unh‍nati ka koee shreshth upay n dikhayi deta ho, usake liye kh‍ya kartavh‍y hai? jo shatrusena par akraman karake shatru ke rajh‍y ko rauand raha ho; itane mean hi koee balavan raja us par bhi chadhaee kar de to usake sath yuddh mean lage hue us durbal raja ke liye kh‍ya ashram hai? jisane apane rajh‍y ki raksha nahianan ki ho, jise desh aur kal ka jnan nahianan ho, ath‍yanh‍t pi da dene ke‍ karan jisake liye sam athava bhedaniti ka prayog asamh‍bhav ho jay, usake liye kh‍ya karana uchit hai vah jivan ki raksha kare ya dhan ke sadhan ki? usake liye kh‍ya karane mean bhalaee hai?

bhishh‍m ji ne kaha- dharmananh‍dan! bharatashreshth yudhishthir! yah to tumane mujhase b da gopaniy vishay poochha hai. yadi tumh‍hare dvara prashh‍n n kiya gaya hota to maian is samay is sankatakalik dharm ke vishay mean kuchh bhi nahianan kah sakata tha. bharatabhooshan! dharm ka vishay b da sookshh‍m hai, shastr-vachanoan ke anushilan se usaka bodh hota hai. shastrashravan karane ke pashh‍chat apane sadacharanoan dvara usaka sevan karake sadhu jivan vh‍yatit karane vala purush kahian koee birala hi hota hai. buddhipoorvak kiye hue karm (prayath‍n)-se manushh‍y dhanadhy ho bhi sakata hai aur nahian bhi ho sakata hai. tumh‍hean aise prashh‍n par sh‍vayan apani hi buddhi se vichar karake kisi nishh‍chay par pahuanchana chahiye. bharat! uparyukh‍t sankat ke samay rajaoan ke jivan ki raksha ke liye maian aisa upay batata hooan jisamean dharm ki adhikata haian, use dhh‍yan dekar suno. parantu maian dharmachar uddeshh‍y se aise dharm ko nahianan apanana chahata. apatti ke samay bhi yadi praja ko du:kh dekar dhan vasool kiya jata hai to pichhe vah raja ke liye vinash ke tulh‍y siddh hota hai. ashray lene yogh‍y jitani buddhiyaan haian, un sabaka yahi nishh‍chay hai.

purush pratidin jaise-jaise shastr ka sh‍vadhh‍yay karata hai vaise-vaise usaka jnan badhata jata hai phir to vishesh jnan praph‍t karane mean usaki ruchi ho jati hai. jnan n hone se manushh‍y ko sankatakal mean usase bachane ke liye koee yogh‍y upay nahianan soojhata; parantu jnan se vah upay jnat ho jata hai. uchit upay hi aishh‍vary ki vriddhi karane ka shreshth sadhan hai. tum meri bat par sandeh n karate hue doshadrishti ka parith‍yag karake yah upadesh suno. khajane ke nasht hone se jo saja ke bal ka nash hota hai. jaise manushh‍y nirjal sh‍thanoan se khodakar jal nikal deta hai, usi prakar raja sankatakal mean nirdhan praja se bhi yathasadhy dhan lekar apana khajana badhave; phir achh‍chha samay ane par us dhan ke dvara praja par anugrah kare, yahi sanatan kal se chala anevala dharm hai. poorvavarti rajaoan ne bhi apatti kal mean is upay dharm ko pakar isaka acharan kiya hai.
