chatuhom yajn ka varnan

brahman ne kaha- priye! isi vishay mean char hotaoan se yukt yajn ka jaisa vidhan hai, usako batane vale is prachin itihas ka udaharan diya karate haian. bhadre! us sabake vidhi vidhan ka upadesh kiya jata hai. tum mere mukh se is adbhut rahasy ko suno. bhavini! karan, karm, karta aur moksh- ye char hota hai, jinake dvara yah sampoorn jagat avrit hai. inake jo hetu haian, unhean yuktiyoan dvara siddh kiya jata hai. vah sab poornaroop se suno. ghran (nasika), jihva, netr, tvacha, paanchavaan kan tatha man aur buddhi- ye sat karan roop hetu gunamay janane chahiye. gandh, ras, roop, shabd, paanchavaan sparsh tatha mantavy aur boddhavy- ye sat vishay karmaroop hetu haian. sooanghane vala, khane vala, dekhane vala, bolane vala, paanchavaan sunane vala tatha manan karane vala aur nishchayatmak bodh prapt karane vala- ye sat kartaroop hetu haian. ye pran adi indriyaan gunavan haian,

at: apane shubhashubh vishayoan roop gunoan ka upabhog karati haian. maian nirgun aur anant hooan, (inase mera koee sambandh nahian hai, yah samajh leene par) ye satoan- ghran adi moksh ke hetu hote haian. vibhinn vishayoan ka anubhav karane vale vidvanoan ke ghran adi apane apane sthan ko vidhipoorvak janate haian aur devata roop hokar sada havishy ka bhog karate haian. ajnani purush ann bhojan karate samay usake prati mamatv se yukt ho jata hai. isi prakar jo apane liye bhojan pakata hai, vah bhi mamatv dosh se mara jata haian. vah abhakshy bhakshan aur madyapan jaise durvyasanoan ko bhi apana leta hai, jo usake liye ghatak hote haian. vah bhakshan ke dvara us ann ki hatya karata hai aur usaki hatya karake vah svayan bhi usake dvara mara jata hai. jo vidvan is ann ko khata hai, arthat ann se upalakshit samasat prapanch ko apane ap mean lin kar deta hai, vah eeshvar sarv samarth hokar pun: ann adi ka janak hota hai. us ann se us vidvan purush mean koee sookshm se sookshm dosh bhi nahian utpann hota.

jo man se avagat hota hai, vani dvara jisaka kathan hota hai, jise kan se suna aur aankh se dekha jata hai, jisako tvacha se chhooa aur nasika se sooangha jata hai. in mantavy adi chhahoan vishayaroopi havishyoan ka man adi chhahoan indriyoan ke sanyamapoorvak apane ap mean hom karana chahiye. us hom ke adhishthanabhoot gunavan pavakaroop paramatm ka mere tan man ke bhitar prakashit ho rahe haian. maianne yogaroopi yajn ka anushthan arambh kar diya hai. is yajn ka udbhav jnanaroopi agni ko prakashit karane vala hai. isamean pran hi stotr hai, apan shastr hai aur sarvasv ka tyag hi uttam dakshina hai. karta (aanhakar), anumanta (man) aur atma (buddhi)- ye tinoan brahmaroop hokar kramash: hota, adhvaryu aur udgata haian. satyabhashan hi prashasta ka shastr hai aur apavarg (moksh) hi us yajn ki dakshina hai.
