tuladhar dvara jajali se jivika-vritti ka varnan karana
jajali ne kaha- vanikh mahoday! tum hath mean tarajoo lekar sauda taulate hue jis dharm ka upadesh karate ho, usase to shvarg ka daravaja hi band kiye dete ho aur praniyoan ki jivika vritti mean bhi rukavat paida karate ho. vaishhyaputr! tumhhean maloom hona chahiye ki kheti se hi anhn paida hota hai, jisase tum bhi ji rahe ho. anhn aur pashuoan se hi manushhy ka jivan-nirvah hota hai. unhhian se yajn kary samhpanhn hota hai. tum to nastikata ki bhi batean karate ho. yadi pashuoan ke kashht ka khhyal karake kheti adi vrittiyoan ka thyag kar diya jay, to is sansar ka jivan hi samapht ho jayega.
tuladhar ne kaha- jajale! maian tumhhean hiansatirikht jivika-vritti bataooanga. brahmanadev! maian nastik nahian hooan aur n yajn ki hi ninhda karata hooan; parantu yajn ke yatharth shvaroop ko samajhane vala purush athyanht durlabh hai. vipr! brahmanoan ke liye jis yajn ka vidhan hai, usako to maian namashkar karata hooan aur jo log us yajn ko thik-thik janate haian, unake charanoan mean bhi mashtak jhukata hooan, kiantu khed hai, is samay brahman log apane yajn ka parithyag karake kshatriyochit yajnoan ke anushhthan mean pravrit ho rahe haian. brahmanh! dhan kamane ke prayathn mean lage hue bahut-se lobhi aur nastik purushoan ne vaidik vachanoan ka tathpary n samajhakar sathy-se pratit hone vale mithhya yajnoan ka prachar kar diya hai. jajale! shrutiyoan aur shmritiyoan mean kaha gaya hai ki amuk karm ke liye yah dakshina deni chahiye, vah dakshina deni chahiye, usake anusar vaisi dakshina dene se bhi yah yajn shreshhth mana jata hai; anhyatha shakti rahate hue yadi yajnakarta ne lobh dikhaya to usako chori karane ka pap lagata hai aur us karm mean bhi viparitata a jati hai. shubh karm ke dvara jis havishhy ka sangrah kiya jata hai, usi ke hom se devata santushht hote haian. shashtr ke kathananusar namashkar, shvadhhyay, ghi aur anhn-in sabake dvara devataoan ki pooja ho sakati hai. jo log kamana ke vashibhoot hokar yajn karate, talab khudavate ya bagiche lagavate haian, un (sakam bhavayukht) asadhu purushoan se unhhian ke saman gunahin santan uthpanhn hoti hai. lobhi purushoan se lobhi ka janhm hota hai aur samadarshi purushoan se samadarshi putr uthpanhn hota hai. yajaman aur rritvijh shvayan jaise hote haian, unaki praja bhi vaisi hi hoti hai. jis prakar akash se nirmal jal ki varsha hoti hai usi prakar shuddh bhav se kiye hue yajn se yoghy praja ki uthpatti hoti hai. vipravar! agni mean dali huee ahuti sooryamanhdal ko prapht hoti hai, soory se jal ki vrishti hoti hai, vrishti se anhn upajata hai aur anhn se samhpoorn praja janhm tatha jivan dharan karati hai. pahale ke log kartavhy samajhakar yajn mean shraddhapoorvak pravrit hote the aur us yajn se unaki samhpoorn kamanaean shvat: poorn ho jati thian. prithhvi se bina jote-boye hi kaphi anhn paida hota tatha jagath ki bhalarhi ke liye unake shubh sankalhp se hi vrikshoan aur lataoan mean phal-phool lagate the.[1]

jnani brahmanoan ne apane ko hi yajn ka upakaran manakar manasik yajn ka anushhthan kiya hai. unhhoanne prajahit ki kamana se hi manasik yajn ka anushhthan kiya hai. lobhi rritvijh to aise logoan ka hi yajn karate haian, jo ashubh (moksh ki ichhchha se rahit) hote haian, shreshhth purush to shvadharm ka acharan karate hue hi praja ko shvarg mean pahuancha dete haian. jajale! yahi sochakar meri buddhi bhi sarvatr saman bhav hi rakhati hai. mahamune! shreshhth vidvan brahman sada hi jin dravhyoan ko lekar yajnoan mean upayog karate haian, unhhian ke dvara ve divhy marg se punhy lokoan mean jate haian. jajale! jo kamanaoan mean asakht hai, usi manushhy ki is sansar mean punaravritti hoti hai. jnani ka pun: yahaan janhm nahian hota. yadyapi donoan divhyamarg se hi punhy lokoan mean jate haian, tathapi sankalhp-bhed se hi unaki avritti aur anavritti hoti hai.[3]
jnani mahathmaoan ki ichhchha hote hi unake manasik sankalhp ki siddhiyoan ke anusar bail shvayan ga di mean jutakar unaki savari dhone lagate haian, doodh dene vali gauean shvayan hi sab prakar ke manorathoan ki siddhiroop dughdh pradan karati haian. yogasiddh purushoan ke pas shvayan yajn yoop upasthit ho jate haian aur unhhean lekar ve paryapht dakshinaoan se yukht yajnoan dvara yajan karate haian. unake rritvijoan ke pas dakshina bhi shvat: upasthit ho jati hai. jisaka anht:karan is prakar shuddh evan siddh ho gaya hai, vahi prithhvi ko upalabhdh kar sakata hai. brahman! isaliye ve yogasiddh purush aushadhiyoan – anhn adi ke dvara yajn kar sakate haian. jo pahale bataye anusar moodh log haian, ve us tarah ka yajn nahian kar sakate. karmaphal ka thyag karane vale mahathmaoan ka aisa adbhut mahathmhy hai, isaliye maian thyag ko age rakhakar tumase aisi bat kah raha hooan. jisake man mean koee kamana nahian hai, jo kisi phal ki ichhchha se karmoan ko aramhbh nahian karata, namashkar aur shtuti se alag rahata hai, jisaka dharm nahian kshin hua hai, karm-banhdhan kshin ho gaya hai, usi purush ko devata log brahman manate haian. jajale! jo brahman vedadhhyayan, yajan aur brahmanoan ko dan dena adi varnochit karm nahian karata aur manohar bhog-padarthoan ki liphsa rakhata hai, vah kutsit gati ko prapht hota hai. kiantu nishhkam dharm ko devata ke saman aradhhy banane vala manushhy yajn ke yatharth phal-moksh ko prapht kar leta hai.
jajali dvara pun: tuladhar se prashn karana
jajali ne poochha- vaishhyapravar! maianne athmayaji muniyoan ke samip tumhhare dvara pratipadit tattv ko kabhi nahian suna. samhbhavat: yah samajhane mean kathin bhi hai, khyoanki poorvakalin maharshiyoan ne usake oopar vishesh vichar nahian kiya hai. jinhhoanne vichar kiya hai, unhhoanne bhi uttam hone par bhi is dharm ki jagath mean shthapana nahian ki hai; at: maian tumase hi poochhata hooan. vanikh putr! yadi is prakar athmatirth mean pashu arthath ajnani manav athmayajn ka saubhaghy nahian pa sakate to kis karm se unhhean sukh ki prapti ho sakati hai? mahamate! yah bat mujhe batao. maian tumhhare kathan par adhik shraddha rakhata hooan.[3]

tuladhar ne kaha– brahmanh! jin damhbhi purushoan ke yajn ashraddha adi doshoan ke karan yajn kahalane yoghy nahian rah jate, ve n to manasik yajn ke adhikari haian aur n kriyathmak yajn ke hi. shraddhalu purush to ghi, doodh, dahi aur visheshat: poornahuti se hi apana yajn poorn karate haian. shraddhaluoan mean jo asamarth haian, unaka yajn gay apani pooanchh ke baloan ke shparsh se, shrriangajal se aur pairoan ki dhool se hi poorn kar deti hai. isi vidhi se devata ke liye ghi adi dravhy samarpit karane ke liye shraddha ko hi pathni banaye aur yajn ko hi devata ke saman aradhhy banakar yathavath roop se yajn purush bhagavan vishhnu ko prapht kare. yjnavihit samasht pashuoan ke dughdh adi se nirmit purodash ko hi pavitr bataya jata hai. sari nadiyaan hi sarashvati ka roop haian aur samasht parvat hi punhyamay pradesh haian. jajale! yah athma hi pradhan tirth hai. ap tirth sevan ke liye desh-desh mean mat bhatakiye. jo yahaan mere bataye hue ahiansapradhan dharmoan ka acharan karata hai tatha vishesh karanoan se dharm ka anusandhan karata hai, vah kalhyanakari lokoan ko prapht hota hai. bhishhm ji kahate haian- yudhishthir! is prakar hiansarahit, yuktisangat tatha shreshhth purushoan dvara sevit dharmoan ki hi tuladhar vaishhy ne sada prashansa ki thi.[4]
