shrikrishh‍n ke dvara giriyajn evan gopoojan ka prash‍tav karate hue sharadh-rritu ka varnan

vaishamh‍payan ji kahate haian- janamejay! inh‍dr-mahoth‍sav ko sh‍vikar karane ke samh‍banh‍dh mean us b de-boodhe gop ka vachan sunakar indr ke prabhav ko janate hue bhi shrikrishh‍n ne yah bat kahi- 'ary! ham log van mean rahane vale gop haian aur sada godhan se apani jivika chalate haian; at: apako maloom hona chahiye ki gauean, parvat aur van- ye hi hamare devata haian. kisanoan ki jivika-vritti hai kharid-vikri aur ham logoan ki sarvottam vritti hai gauoan ka palan. ye varta roop vidya ke tin bhed kahalate haian. jo jis vidya se yukh‍t hai, usake liye vahi sarvottam devata hai, vahi pooja-archa ke yogh‍y hai aur vahi usake liye upakarini hai. jo manushh‍y ek vh‍yakti se phal pakar use bhogata hai aur doosare ki pooja (adar-sath‍kar) karata hai, vah is lok aur paralok mean do anarthoan ka bhagi hota hai. jahaan-tak kheti hoti hai, vahaan tak vraj ki sima vikhh‍yat hai. sima ke anh‍t mean van suna jata hai aur van ke anh‍t mean samash‍t parvat haian. ve parvat hi hamare avichal ashray haian. suna jata hai ki is van mean rahane vale parvat bhi ichh‍chhanusar roop dharan karane vale haian. ve bhinh‍n-bhinh‍n shariroan mean pravesh karake apane shikharoan par mauj se ghoomate-phirate haian. ve hi ayaloan se vibhooshit sianh aur nakhadhari janh‍tuoan mean shreshth vh‍yaghr banakar van ko katane ya hani pahuanchane vale logoan ko tras dete hue apane-apane vanoan ki raksha karate haian.

jab van ke ashray mean rahakar jivan nirvah karane vale log in vanoan ya van devataoan ko hani pahuanchate haian, tab ve kamaroopi devata rakshasochit hiansa-karm ke dvara un durachari manushh‍yoan ko nishchay hi mar dalate haian. brahman log manh‍tr yajn mean tath‍par rahate haian, kisan sitayajn karate haian arthat khetoan ko achh‍chhi tarah jotate aur hal jotane se jo rekha ban jati hai, usaki tatha hal ki pooja karate haian tatha gopagan giriyajn karate haian; at: ham logoan ko is van mean giriyajn karana chahiye. gopagan! mujhe to yahi achh‍chha lagata hai ki giriyajn ka aramh‍bh ho. sh‍vastivachan adi karm karake vrikshoan ke niche athava parvat ke samip kisi sukhad sh‍than par pavitr pashuoan ko ekatr karake unake pas jakar unaka vish‍tarapoorvak poojan kiya jay aur ek shubh mandir mean sare vraj ke doodh ka sangrah kar liya jay. is vishay mean ap log kh‍ya vichar kar rahe haian. phir sharadh-rritu ke phooloan se jinake mash‍tak ka shrriangar kiya gaya ho aisi samash‍t gauean girivar govardhan ki dakshinavart parikrama karake pun: vraj mean jayan. is samay pramod poorn ramaniy sharadh-rritu a gayi hai, jabaki jal aur ghas gauoan ke liye sh‍vaduta ke gunoan se samh‍panh‍n jate haian. ab jalashayoan mean pani barasane vale badal chhant gaye. khile hue kadamh‍b-pushh‍poan ke karan van gauravarn ka pratit hota hai. kahian-kahian banasanoan-jha d-jhankha doan ke karan vah shh‍yam rang ka dikhayi deta hai. ab ghasean komal nahian rahian- kuchh kathor ho gayi haian. van mean moroan ki madhur vani nahian sunayi deti hai. akash mean jal, mal, balaka aur vidyut se rahit badal danh‍tahin hathiyoan ke saman badh rahe haian. (varsha-rritu mean) nootan jal ko khianch lane vale shaktishali meghayukh‍t vayu se abhishikh‍t hone ke karan jo pattoan ke bahulh‍y se ghane dikhayi dete the, ve sabhi vriksh ab pattoan ke biral ho jane se prasad ko praph‍t ho rahe haian (pahale vahaan anh‍dhakar chhaya rahata tha ab prakash ho gaya hai).'
