chaturvidha bhajante maan janaah sukritinoarjun.
arto jijnasurartharthi jnani ch bharatarshabh॥[1]

he bharatashreshth! char prakar ke punyatma meri seva karate haian – art, jijnasu, artharthi tatha jnani.

dushkriti ke sarvatha viparit aise log haian jo shastriy vidhi-vidhanoan ka dridhata se palan karate haian aur ye sukritinah kahalate haian arthath ye ve log haian jo shastriy vidhi-vidhanoan, naitik tatha samajik niyamoan ko manate haian aur parameshvar ke prati nyoonadhik bhakti karate haian. is logoan ki char shreniyaan haian– ve jo pi dit haian, ve jinhean dhan ki avashyakata hai, ve jinhean jijnasa hai aur ve jinhean paramasaty ka jnan hai. ye sare log vibhinn paristhitiyoan mean parameshvar ki bhakti karate rahate haian. shuddh bhakti nishkam hoti hai aur usamean kisi labh ki akaansha nahian rahati. bhaktirasamrit sindhu mean[2] shuddh bhakti ki paribhasha is prakar ki gee hai–

anyabhilashitashoonyan jnanakarmadyanavritamh.
anukoolyen krishnanushilanan bhaktiruttama॥

“manushy ko chahie ki parameshvar krishn ki divy premabhakti kisi sakamakarm athava manodharm dvara bhautik labh ki ichchha se rahit hokar kare. yah shuddhabhakti kahalati hai.”

jab ye char prakar ke log parameshvar ke pas bhakti ke lie ate haian aur shuddh bhakt ki sangati se poornataya shuddh ho jate haian, to ye bhi shuddh bhakt ho jate haian. jahaan tak dushtoan (dushkritiyoan) ka prashn hai unake lie bhakti durgam hai kyoanki unaka jivan svarthapoorn, aniyamit tatha niruddeshy hota hai. kintu inamean se bhi kuchh log shuddh bhakt ke sampark mean ane par shuddh bhakt ban jate haian. jo log sadaiv sakam karmoan mean vyast rahate haian, ve sankat ke samay bhagavanh ke pas ate haian aur tab ve shuddhabhaktoan ki sangati karate haian tatha vipatti mean bhagavanh ke bhakt ban jate haian. jo bilakul hatash haian ve bhi kabhi-kabhi shuddh bhaktoan ki sangati karane ate haian aur eeshvar ke vishay mean janane ki jijnasa karate haian. isi prakar shushk chintak jab jnan ke pratyek kshetr se hatash ho jate haian to ve kabhi-kabhi eeshvar ko janana chahate haian aur ve bhagavanh ki bhakti karane ate haian. is prakar ye nirakar brahm tatha antaryami paramatma ke jnan ko par kar jate haian aur bhagavatkripa se ya unake shuddh bhakt ki kripa se unhean sakar bhagavanh ka bodh ho jata hai. kul milakar jab art, jijnasu, jnani tatha dhan ki ichchha rakhane vale samast bhautik ichchhaoan se mukt ho jate haian aur jab ve yah bhalibhaanti samajh jate haian ki bhautik asakti se adhyatmik unnati ka koee sarokar nahian hai, to ve shuddhabhakt ban jate haian. jab tak aisi shuddh avastha prapt nahian ho leti, tab tak bhagavanh ki divyaseva mean lage bhakt sakam karmoan mean ya sansari jnan ki khoj mean anurakt rahate haian. atah shuddh bhakti ki avastha tak pahuanchane ke lie manushy ko in saboan ko laanghana hota hai.
