mujhamean kaun si durbalata hai, kis tarah ki asakti hai aur kaun si aisi buraee hai, jo ab tak door nahian huee hai aur kis karan se mujh par dosh ata hai? in sab batoan ka raja ko sada vichar karate rahana chahiye. kal tak mera jaisa bartav raha hai, usaki log prashansa karate hai ya nahian? is bat ka pata lagane ke liye apane vishvasapatr guptacharoan ko prithvi par par sab or ghumate rahana chahiye. unake dvara yah bhi pata lagana chahiye ki yadi ab se log mere bartav ko jan lean to usaki prashansa kareange ya nahian. kya bahar ke gaanvoan mean aur samooche rashtr me mera yash logoan ko achchha lagata hai. yudhishthir! jo dharmajn, dhairyavan aur sangram mean kabhi pith n dikhane vale shooravir hai, jo rajy mean rahakar jivika chalate hai athava raja ke ashrit rahakar jite hai tatha jo mantrigan aur tatasthavarg ke log hai, ve sab tumhari prashansa kare ya nianda, tumhean sabaka satkar hi karana chahiye. tat! kisi ka koee bhi kam sabako sarvatha achchha hi lage, yah sambhav nahian hai, bharatannadan! sabhi praniyoan ke shatru mitr aur madhyasth hote haian.

yudhishthir ne poochha- pitamah! jo bahubal mean ek saman hai aur gunoan mean bhi ek saman hai, unamean se koee ek manushy sabase adhik kaise ho jata hai, jo any sab manushyoan par shasan karane lagata hai. bhishmaji ne kaha- rajanh! jaise krodh mean bhare hue b de b de vishadhar sarp doosare chhote sarpoan ko kha jate haian, jis prakar pairoan se chalane vale prani n chalane vale praniyoan ka apane upabhog mean lete haian aur dadh vale jantu bina dadh vale jivoan ko apana ahar bana lete haian (usi prakritik niyam ke anusar bahusankhyak durbal manushyoan par ek sabal manushy shasan karane lagata hai). yudhishthir! in sabhi hisank jantuoan tatha shatru ki or se raja ko sada savadhan rahana chahiye, kyoanki asavadhan hone par ye giddh pakshiyoan ke saman sahasa toot p date hai.

ooanche ya niche bhav se mal kharidane vale aur vyapar ke liye durgam pradeshoan mean vicharane vale vaishy tumharean rajy mean kar ke bhari bhar se pidit ho udvign to nahian hote hai? kisan log adhik lagan liye jane ke karan atyant kasht pakar tumhara rajy chhodakar to nahian ja rahe hai. kyoanki kisan hi rajaoan ka bhar dhote hai aur ve hi doosare logoan ka bhi bharan poshan karate haian. inhian ke diye hue ann se devata, pitar, manushy, sarp, rakshas aur pashu-pakshi sabaki jivika chalati hai. bharatanandan! yah maianne raja ke rashtr ke sath kiye jane vale bartav ka varnan kiya. isi se rajaoan ki raksha hoti hai. pandukumar! isi vishay ko lekar maian age ki bhi bat kahooanga.
