rajendr! rrishiyoan ke liye bhi saty hi param dhan hai. isi prakar rajaoan ke liye saty se badhakar doosara koee aisa sadhan nahian hai, jo prajavarg mean usake prati vishvas utpann kara sake. jo raja gunavanh, shilavanh, man aur indriyoan ko sanyam mean rakhane vala, komalasvabhav, dharmaparayan, jitendriy, dekhane mean prasannamukh aur bahut dene vala udarachitt hai, vah kabhi rajalakshmi se bhrasht nahian hota. kurunandan! tum sabhi karyoan mean saralata evan komalata ka avalamban karana, parantu nitishastr ki alochana se yah jnat hota hai ki apane chhidr, apani mantrana tatha apane kary kaushal in tin batoan ko gupt rakhane mean saralata ka avalamban karana uchit nahian hai. jo raja sada sab prakar se komalatapoorvak bartav karane vala hi hota hai, usaki ajna ka log ullaghann kar jate hai, aur keval kathor bartav karane se bhi sab log udvigr ho uthate hai; atah tum avashyakatanusar kathorata aur komalata donoan ka avalamban karo. dataoan mean shreshth beta pandukumar yudhishthir! tumhean brahmanoan ko kabhi dand nahian dena chahiye, kyoanki sansar mean brahman sarvashreshth prani hai. rajendr! kurunandan! mahatma manu ne apane dharmashastroan mean do shlokoan ka gan kiya hai, tum un donoan ko apane hady mean dharan karo. agni jal se, kshatriy brahman aur loha patthar se prakat hua hai. inaka tej any sab sthanoan par to apana prabhav dikhata hai; parantu apane ko utpann karane vale karan se takkar lene par svayan hi shant ho jata hai. jab loha patthar par chot karata hai, ag jal ko nasht karane lagati hai aur kshatriy brahman se dvesh karane lagata hai, tab ye tinoan hi dukh uthate haian. arthath ye durbal ho jate haian. maharaj! aisa sochakar tumhean brahmanoan ko sada namaskar hi karana chahiye; kyoanki ve shreshth brahman poojit hone par bhootal ke brahm ko arthat ved ko dharan karate haian. purushasianh! yadyapi aisi bat hai, tathapi yadi brahman bhi tinoan lokoan ka vinash karane ke liye udyat ho jayan to aise logoan ko apane bahu-bal se parast karake sada niyantran mean hi rakhana chahiye. tat! nareshvar! is vishay mean do shlok prasiddh haian, jinhean poorvakal mean maharshi shukrachary ne gaya tha. maharaj! tum ekagrachitt hokar un donoan shlok ko suno. vedant ka parangat vidvan brahman hi kyoan n ho; yadi vah shastr uthakar yuddh mean samana karane ke liye a raha ho to dharmapalan ki ichchha rakhane vale raja ko apane dharm ke anusar hi yuddh karake use kaid kar lena chahiye. jo raja usake dvara nasht hote hue dharm ki raksha karata hai, vah dharmajn hai. atah use marane se vah dharm ka nashak nahian mana jata. vastav mean krodh hi unake krodh se takkar leta hai. narashreshth! yah sab hone par bhi brahmanoan ki to sada raksha hi karani chahiye; yadi unake dvara aparadh ban gaye hoan to unhean pranadand n dekar apane rajy ki sima se bahar chho d dena chahiye. prajanath! inamean koee kalakiant ho to us par bhi kripa hi karani chahiye. brahmahatya, gurupatnigaman, bhroonahatya tatha rajadroh ka aparadh hone par bhi brahman ko desh se nikal dene ka hi vidhan hai- use sharirik dand kabhi nahian dena chahiye.
