manishi purush sharir ke bhitar jise ‘udan’ kahate haian, jo charoan samudroan se jal ko oopar uthakar jimoot namak meghoan mean sthapit karata hai taia jimoot namak meghoan ko jal se sanyukt karake unhean parjany ke havale kar deta hai, vah mahanh vayu ‘udvah’ kahalata hai, jo tritiy marg par chalane ke karan tisara kaha gaya hai. ‘jisake dvara idhar-udhar le jaye gaye anek prakar ke mahamegh ghat baandhakar jal barasana arambh karate haian, ghata ke roop mean ghanibhoot hone par bhi jisaki prerana se sare badal phat jate haian, phir ve venunad ke saman shabd karane ke karan ‘nad’ kahalate haian tatha praniyoan ki raksha ke liye punah jal ka sangrah karake ghanibhoot ho jate haian, jo vayu devataoan ke akash marg se jane vale vimanoan ko svayan hi vahan karata hai, vah parvatoan ka man mardan karane valar chaturth vayu ‘sanvah’ nam se prasiddh hai. ‘jo ruksh bhav se vegapoorvak mahanh shabd ke sath bahakar b de-b de vrikshoan ko to d deta hai aur ukha d pheankata hai taia jisake kshara sangathit hue pralayakalin megh ‘balahak’ sanjna dharan karate haian, jis vayu ka sancharan bhayanak utpat lane vala hota hai tatha jo akash se apane sath meghoan ki ghatayean liye chalata hai, us atyant vegashali pancham vayu ko ‘vivah’ nam diya gaya hai. ‘jis vayu ke adhar par akash mean divy jal oopar-hi-oopar pravahit hote haian, jo akashaganga ke pavitr jal ko dharan karake sthit hai aur jisake dvara door se hi pratihat hokar sahasroan kiranoan ke utpatti sthan sooryadev, jinase yah prithvi prakashit hoti hai, ek hi kiran se yukt jan p date haian tatha jisase amrit ki divy nidhi chandrama ka bhi poshan hota hai, vah vijayashiloan mean shreshth chhatha vayu tattv ‘parivah’ nam se prasiddh hai. ‘jo vayu antakal mean sampoorn praniyoan ke pranoan ko sharir se nikalata hai, jisake is pran nishkasan roop marg ka mrityu tatha vaivasvt yam anugaman matr karate haian, sada adhyatm chiantan mean lagi huee shanat buddhi ke dvara bhalibhaanti anusandhan karane vale tatha dhyan ke abhyas mean hi sanand rat rahane purushoan ko jo amritattvadene mean samarth hai, jisamean sthit hokar prajapati daksh ke das hajar putr sampoorn dishaoan ke ant mean pahuanch gaye tatha jisase sparshit hokar vilin hua prani yahaan se keval jata hai vapas nahian lautata, us sarvashreshth saptam vayu ka nam ‘paravah’ hai. usaka atikraman karana sabhi ke liye sarvatha kathin hai. ‘is prakar ye sat marudgan diti ke atyant adbhut putr haian. inaki sarvatr gati hai. ye nirantar bahate aur sabako dharan karate haian. ‘yah b de ashchary kie bat hai ki atyant veg se bahate hue us vayu ke dvara yah parvatoan mean shreshth himalay bhi sahasa kaanp utha hai. ‘tat! yah bhagavanh vishnu ka niahshvas hai. jab kabhi sahasa vah niahshvas veg se nikal p data hai, us samay yah sara jagath vyathit ho uthata hai.‘isaliye brahmavetta purush prachand vayu (aandhi) chalane par ved ka path nahian nahian karate haian. vad bhi bhagavanh ka niahshvas hi hai. us samay vedapath kane par vayu ko vayu se bhay prapt hota hai aur us ved ko bhi pi da hoti hai’. anadhyay ke vishay mean yah bat kahakar parasharanandan bhagavanh vyas apane putr shukadev se bole- ‘ab tum vedapath karo.’ yoan kahakar ve akashaganga ke tat par chale gaye.

is prakar shrimahabharat shantiparv ke antargat mokshadharmaparv mean anadhyay ke karan ka kathan namak tin sau atthaeesavaan adhyay poora hua.
