mithilanaresh! shabhd, shparsh, roop, ras aur ganhdh— ye indriyoan ke paanch dosh haian. in doshoan ko door kare. phir lay aur vikshep ko shanht karake samhpoorn indriyoan ko man mean sthir kare. nareshhvar! tathpashhchath man ko ahankar mean, ahankar ko buddhi mean aur buddhi ko prakriti mean shthapit kare. is prakar sabaka lay karake yogi purush keval us paramathma ka dhhyan karate haian, jo rajogun se rahit, nirmal, nithy, ananht, shuddh, chhidrarahit, kootashth, anhtaryami, amedy, ajar, amar, avikari, sabaka shasan karane vala aur sanatan brahma hai. maharaj! ab samadhi mean sthit hue yogi ke lakshan suno. jaise tripht hua manushhy sukh se sota hai, usi prakar yogayukht purush ke chitt mean sada prasanhnata bani rahati hai—vah samadhi se virat hona nahian chahata. yahi usaki prasanhnata ki pahachan hai. jaise tel se bhara hua dipak vayushoonhy shthan mean ekatar jalata rahata hai. usaki shikha sthir bhav se oopar ki or uthi rahati hai, usi tarah samadhinishhth yogi ko bhi manishi purush sthir batate haian. jaise badal ki barasayi huee booandoan ke aghat se parvat chanchal nahian hota, usi tarah anek prakar ke vikshep akar yogi ko vichalit nahian kar sakate. yahi yogayukht purush ki pahachan hai. usake pas bahut-se shankh aur naga doan ki dhhvani ho aur tarah-tarah ke gane-bajane kiye jayan to bhi usaka dhhyan bhang nahian ho sakata. yahi usaki sudhridh samadhi pahachan hai. jaise man ko sanyam mean rakhane vala savadhan manushhy hathoan mean tel se bhara katora lekar sidhi par chadhe़ aur us samay bahut se purush hath mean talavar lekar use darane–dhamakane lagean to bhi vah unake dar se ek booand bhi tel patr se girane nahian deta, usi prakar yog ki uanchi sthiti ko prapht hua ekagrachitht yogi indriyoan ki sthirata aur man ki avichal sthiti ke karan samadhi se vichalit nahian hota. yogasiddh muni ke aise hi lakshan samajhane chahiye. jo achhchhi tarah samadhi mean sthit ho jata hai, vah mahanh anhdhakar ke bich mean prakashit hone vali prajvalit agni ke saman hriday desh mean sthit avinashi (jnanashvaroop) par brahma ka sakshathkar karata hai. rajanh! is sadhana ke dvara manushhy dirghakal ke pashhchath is achetan deh ka parithyag karake keval (prakriti ke sansarg se rahit) par brahma paramathma ko prapht ho jata hai. aisi sanatan shruti hai. yahi yogiyoan ka yog hai. isake siva yog ka aur khya lakshan ho sakata hai ? ise janakar manishi purush apane-apako kritakrithy manate haian. is prakar shri mahabharat shanti parv ke antargat mokshadharm parv yajnavalky aur janak ka sanvad vishayak tin sau solahavaan adhyay poora hua.
