mithileshvar! jab yogi man ke dvara samh‍poorn indriyoan ko aur buddhi ke dvara man ko sthir karake path‍thar ki bhaanti avichal ho jay, sookhe kath ki bhaanti nishh‍kamh‍p aur parvat ki tarah sthir rahane lage tabhi shash‍tr ke vidhan ko janane vale vidvan purush apane anubhav se hi usako yogayukh‍t kahate haian. jis samay vah n to sunata haian, n sooanghata hai, n sh‍vad leta hai, n dekhata hai aur n sh‍parsh ka hi anubhav karata hai, jab usake man mean kisi prakar ka sankalh‍p nahian uthata tatha kath ki bhaanti sthit hokar vah kisi bhi vash‍tu ka abhiman ya sudh-budh nahian rakhata, usi samay manishi purush use apane shuddhash‍varoop ko praph‍t evan yogayukh‍t kahate haian. us avash‍tha mean vah vayurahit sh‍than mean rakhe hue nishh‍chal bhav se prajh‍valit dipak ki bhaanti prakashit hota hai. liang sharir se usaka koee samh‍banh‍dh nahian rahata. vah aisa nishh‍chal ho jata hai ki usaki oopar-niche athava madhh‍y mean kahian bhi gati nahian hoti. jinaka sakshath‍kar kar lene par manushh‍y kuchh bol nahian pata, yogakal mean yogi usi paramath‍ma ko dekhe. vath‍s! mujhe-jaise logoan ko apane-apane hriday mean sthit sab ke jnata anh‍tarath‍ma ka hi jnan praph‍t karana uchit hai. dhh‍yananishh‍th yogi ko apane hriday mean usi prakar paramath‍ma ka sakshath darshan hota hai jaise dhoomarahit agni ka, kiranamalaoan se mandit soory ka tatha akash mean vidyuth ke prakash ka darshan hota hai. dhairyavanh, manishi, brahmabodhak shash‍troan mean nishh‍tha rakhane vale aur mahath‍ma brahman hi us ajanh‍ma evan amritash‍varoop brahm ka darshan kar pate haian. vah brahm anu se bhi anu aur mahanh se bhi mahanh kaha gaya hai. samh‍poorn praniyoan ke bhitar vah anh‍taryamiroop se avashh‍y sthir rahata he tathapi kisi ko dikhayi nahian deta hai. sookshh‍m buddhiroop dhan-samh‍panh‍n purush hi manomay dipak ke dvara us lokash‍trashh‍tha paramath‍ma ka sakshath‍kar kar sakate haian. vah paramath‍ma mahanh anh‍dhakar se pare aur tamogun se rahit hai; isaliye ved ke paragami sarvajn purushoan ne use tamonud (ajnan nashak) kaha hai. vah nirmal, ajnanarahit liangahin aur aliang nam se prasiddh (upadhishoonh‍y) hai. yogiyoan ka yog hai. isake siva yog ka kh‍ya lakshan ho sakata hai. is tarah sadhana karane vale yogi sab ke drashh‍ta ajar-amar paramath‍ma ka darshan karate haian .

yahaan tak maianne tumh‍hean yartharoop se yog-darshan ki bat batayi hai, ab saankhh‍y ka varnan karata hooan; y‍h vicharapradhan darshan hai. nripashreshh‍th! prakritivadi vidvanh mool prakriti ko avh‍yakh‍t kahate haian. usase doosara tath‍v prakat hua, jise mahatath‍v kahate haian. mahatath‍v se ahankar prakat hua, jo tisara tath‍v hai. aisa hamare sunane mean aya hai. ahankar se paanch sookshh‍m bhootoan ki arthath panchatanh‍matraoan ki uth‍patti huee; yah saankhh‍yath‍madarshi vidvanoan ka kathan hai. ye ath prakritiyaan haian. inase solah tath‍voan ki uth‍patti hoti hai, jinh‍hean vikar kahate haian. paanch jnanendriyaan, paanch karmendriyaan, ek man aur paanch sh‍thoolabhoot- ye solah vikar haian. inamean se akash adi paanch tath‍v aur paanch jnanendriyaan– ye vishesh kahalate haian. saankhh‍yashash‍triy vidhi- vidhan ke jnata aur sada saankhh‍yamarg mean hi anurakh‍t rahane vale manishi purush itani hi saankhh‍yasamh‍mat tath‍voan ki sankhh‍ya batalate haian. arthath avh‍yakh‍t, mahatath‍v, ahankar tatha panchatanh‍matra- in ath prakritiyoan sahit uparyukh‍t solah vikar milakar kul chaubis tath‍v saankhh‍yashash‍tr ke vidvanoan ne sh‍vikar kiye haian .
