jo sadharan manushy haian, ve un ashramoan ke va‍sh‍tavik abhipray ko bhali-bhaanti sanshayarahit nahian jan pate, kiantu unase bhinh‍n jo tattvajn haian, ve in ashramoan ke paramatattv ko thik-thik samajhate haian. jo achh‍chhi tarah kalyan karane vala sadhan hota hai, vah sarvatha sanshayarahit hota hai. suhridoan par anugrah karana, shatrubhav rakhane vale dushtoan ko dand dena tatha dharm, arth aur kam ka sangrah karana- ise manishi purush shrey kahate haian. papakarm se door rahana, niranh‍tar punyakarmoan mean lage rahana aur satyapurushoan ke sath rahakar sadachar ka thik-thik palan karana- yah sanshayarahit kalyan ka marg hai. sampoorn praniyoan ke prati komalata ka bartav karana, vh‍yavahar mean saral hona tatha mithe vachan bolana- yah bhi kalyan ka sandeharahit marg hai. devataoan, pitaroan aur atithiyoan ko unaka bhag dena tatha bharan-poshan karane yogh‍y vh‍yaktiyoan ka tyag n karana- yah kalyan ka nishchit sadhan hai. saty bolana bhi shreyash‍‍kar hai; parantu saty ko yathartharoop se janana kathin hai. maian to usi ko saty kahata hooan, jisase praniyoan ka atyanh‍t hit hota ho. ahankar ka tyag, pramad ko rokana, santosh aur ekanh‍tavas- yah sunishchit shrey kahalata hai.

dharmacharanapoorvak ved aur vedaangoan ka sh‍vadhh‍yay karana tatha unake siddhanh‍t ko janane ki ichh‍chha ko jagaye rakhana nish‍sandeh kalyan ka sadhan hai. jise kalyan prapti ki ichh‍chha ho, us manushy ko kisi tarah bhi shabh‍d, sh‍parsh, roop, ras aur ganh‍dh- in vishayoan ka adhik sevan nahian karana chahiye. kalyan chahane vala purush rat mean ghoomana, din mean sona, alash‍y, chugali, madak vash‍tu ka sevan, ahar-vihar ka adhik matra mean sevan aur usaka sarvatha tyag- ye sab batean tyag de. doosaroan ki ninh‍da karake apani shreshthata siddh karane ka prayatn n kare. sadharan manushyoan ki apeksha jo apani utkrishtata hai, use apane gunoan dvara hi siddh kare (batoan se nahian). gunahin manushy hi adhikatar apani prashansa kiya karate haian. ve apane mean gunoan ki kami dekhakar doosare gunavan purushoan ke gunoan mean dosh batakar un par akshep kiya karate haian.

yadi unako uttar diya jay to phir ve ghamand mean bharakar apane-apako mahapurushoan se bhi adhik gunavan manane lagean. parantu jo doosare kisi ki ninh‍da tatha apani prashansa nahian karata, aisa uttam gunasampanh‍n vidvan purush hi mahan yash ka bhagi hota hai. phooloan ki pavitr evan manoram suganh‍dh bina kuchh bole hi mahak uthati hai. nirmal soory apani prashansa kiye bina hi akash mean prakashit hone lagate haian. is prakar sansar mean aur bhi bahut-si aisi buddhi se rahit vash‍tuean haian, jo apani prashansa nahian karati haian, kiantu apane yash se jagamagati rahati haian. moorkh manushy keval apani prashansa karane se hi jagat mean khh‍yati nahian pa sakata. vidvan purush gupha mean chhipa rahe to bhi usaki sarvatr prasiddhi ho jati hai. buri bat jor-jor se kahi gayi ho to bhi vah shoonh‍y mean vilin ho jati hai, lok mean usaka adar nahian hota hai; kiantu achh‍chhi bat dhire se kahi jay to bhi vah sansar mean prakashit hoti hai- usaka adar hota aur prabhav badhata hai.
