jaise machhalimar jal katane vali drishh‍t machhali ko pahale pak data hai, usi tarah yogaveth‍ta sadhak pahale apane man ko vash mean kare. usake bad kan ka, phir netr ka, tadananh‍tar jihva aur ghran adi ka nigrah kare. yath‍nashil sadhak in paanchoan indriyoan ko vash mean karake man me sh‍thapit karean. isi prakar sankalh‍poan ka parith‍yag karake man ko buddhi mean lin kare. yogi paanchoan indriyoan ko vash mean karake unh‍hean dridhatapoorvak man mean sh‍thapit kare. jab chhathe man sahit ye indriyaan buddhi mean sthir hokar prasanh‍n (sh‍vachh‍chh) ho jati hai, tab us yogi ko brahma ka sakshath‍kar ho jata hai. vah yogi apane anh‍t:karan me dhoomarahit prajh‍valit agni, diptiman, soory tatha akash mean chamakati huee bijali ki jh‍yoti ke saman prakashash‍varoop ath‍ma ka darshan karata hai. sab us ath‍ma mean drishtigochar hote haian aur vh‍yapak hone ke karan vah ath‍ma sab mean dikhayi deta hai. jo mahath‍ma brahman manishi, mahajnani, dhairyavanh aur samh‍poorn praniyoan ke hit me tath‍par rahane vale haian, ve hi us paramath‍ma ka darshan kar pate haian.

jo yogi pratidin niyat samay tak akela ekanh‍t sh‍than mean baithakar bhalibhaanti niyamoan ke palanapoorvak is prakar yogabhh‍yas karata hai, vah akshar brahma ki samata ko praph‍t ho jata hai. yogasadhana mean agrasar hone par moh, bhram aur avart adi vighh‍n praph‍t hote haian. phir divh‍y suganh‍dh ati hai aur divh‍y shabh‍doan ke shravan evan divh‍y roopoan ke darshan hote haian. nana prakar ke adbhut ras aur sh‍parsh ka anubhav hota hai. ichh‍chhanukool sardi aur garmi praph‍t hoti haian tatha vayuroop hokar akash mean chalane-phirane ki shakti a jati hai. pratibha badh jati hai. divh‍y bhog apane ap upasthit ho jate haian. in sab siddhiyoan ko yogabal se praph‍t karake bhi tath‍vaveth‍ta yogi unaka adar n kare; kh‍yoanki ye sab yog ke vighh‍n haian. at: man ko unaki or se lautakar ath‍ma mean hi ekagr kare.

nith‍y niyam se rahakar yogi muni kisi parvat ke shikhar par kisi devavriksh ke samip ya ekanh‍t mandir mean athava vrikshoan ke samh‍mukh baithakar tin samay (sabere tatha rat ke pahale aur pichhale paharoan mean) yog ka abhh‍yas karean. dravh‍y chahane vale manushh‍y jaise sada dravh‍yasamuday ko kothe mean baandh karake rakhata hai, usi tarah yog ka sadhak bhi indriy samuday ko sanyam mean rakhakar hridayakamal mean sthit nith‍y ath‍ma ka ekagrabhav se chinh‍tan kare .

man ko yog se udvigh‍n n hone de. jis upay se chanchal man ko roka ja sake, yog ka sadhak usaka sevan kare aur us sadhan se vah kabhi vichalit n ho. ekagrachitt yogi parvat ki sooni gupha, devamandir tatha ekanh‍tash‍th shoonh‍y grih ko hi apane nivas ke liye chune. yog ka sadhak man, vani ya kriya dvara bhi kisi doosare mean asakh‍t n ho. sabaki or se upeksha ka bhav rakhe. ni‍yamit bhojan kare aur labh hani mean bhi saman bhav rakhe. jo usaki prashansa kare aur jo usaki ninh‍da kare, un donoan mean vah saman bhav rakhe, ek ki bhalaee ya doosare ki buraee n soche.
