yadi ath‍ma hai ya nahian yah sanshay upasthit hone par anuman se usake astith‍v ka sadhan kiya jay to isake liye koee aisa jnapak hetu nahian upalabh‍dh hota, jo kahian doshayukh‍t n hota ho; phir kis anuman ka ashray lekar lokavh‍yavahar ka nishh‍chay kiya ja sakata hai. anuman aur agam in donoan pramanoan ka mool prath‍yaksh praman hai. agam ya anuman yadi prath‍yaksh anubhav ke viruddh hai to vah kuchh bhi nahian hai usaki pramanikata nahian sh‍vikar ki ja sakati. jahaan-kahian bhi eeshh‍var, adrisht athava nith‍y ath‍ma ki siddhi ke liye anuman kiya jata hai, vahaan sadhh‍y-sadhan ke liye huee bhavana bhi vh‍yarth hai, at: nastikoan ke mat mean jivath‍ma ki sharir se bhinh‍n koee sath‍ta nahian hai yah bat sthir huee. jaise vat vriksh ke bij mean patr, pushh‍p, phal, mool tatha th‍vacha adi chhipe hote haian, jaise gay ke dvara khayi huee ghas mean se ghi, doodh adi prakat hote haian tatha jis prakar anek aushadh dravh‍yoan ka pak evan adhivasan karane se usamean nasha paida karane vali shakti a jati hai, usi prakar viry se sharir adi ke sath chetanata bhi prakat hoti hai.

isake siva jati, sh‍mriti, ayash‍kanh‍tamani, yooryakanh‍t‍mani aur b davalan ke dvara samudr ke jal ka pan adi dri‍shtanh‍toan se bhi dehati rikh‍t chaitanh‍y ki siddhi nahian hoti[1] (is nastik mat ka khanh‍dan is prakar samajhana chahiye) mare hue sharir mean jo chetanata ka abhav dekha jata hai, vahi dehatirikh‍t ath‍ma ke astith‍v mean praman hai (yadi chetanata deh ka hi dharm ho to mritak sharir mean bhi usaki upalabdhi honi chahiye; parantu mrith‍yu ke pashh‍chat kuchh kal tak sharir to rahata hai, par usame chetanata nahian rahati; at: yah siddh ho jata hai ki chetan ath‍ma sharir se bhinh‍n hai) nastik bhi rog adi ki nivritti ke liye manh‍tr, jap tatha tantrik paddhati se devata adi ki aradhana karate haian. (vah devata kh‍ya hai? yadi paanch bhautik hai to ghat adi ki bhaanti usaka darshan hona chahiye aur yadi vah bhautik padarthoan se bhinh‍n hai to chetan ki sath‍ta sh‍vat: siddh ho gayi; at: deh se bhinh‍n ath‍ma hai, yah prath‍yaksh anubhav ke viruddh jan p data hai.)

  1. jati kahate haian janh‍m ko. jaise gu d ya mahuve adi se anek dravh‍yoan ke sanyog dvara jo mady taiyar kiya jata hai, usamean upadan ki apeksha vilakshan madak shakti ka janh‍m ho jata hai, usi prakar prithh‍vi, jal, tej aur vayu in char dravh‍yoan ke sanyog se is sharir mean hi jiv chaitanh‍y prakat ho jata hai. jaise jad man se ajad sh‍mriti uth‍panh‍n hoti hai, usi prakar jad sharir se chetan jiv ki uth‍patti ho jati hai. jaise ayash‍kanh‍tamani (chumh‍bak) jad hokar bhi loh ko khianch leti hai, usi prakar jad sharir bhi indriyoan ka sanchalan aur niyanh‍tran kar leta hai; at: ath‍ma usase bhinh‍n nahian hai. jaise sooryakanh‍tamani shital hokar bhi soory ki kiranoan ke sanyog se ag prakat karane lagati hai, usi prakar viry shital hokar bhi ras aur rakh‍t ke sanyog se jatharanal ka avishh‍kar karata hai aur jaise jal se uth‍panh‍n hua badavanal jal ko hi bhakshan karata hai, usi prakar viry se uth‍panh‍n hua yah sharir sh‍vayan bhi viry ka adhan evan dharan karata hai. at: sharir se bhinh‍n ath‍ma ki sath‍ta manane ki koee avashh‍yakata nahian haian.
