manu ne kaha- manushh‍y in kamanaoan se mukh‍t ho nishh‍kam-bhav se karmoan ka anushthan karake parabrahm paramath‍ma ko praph‍t kare, isi udeshh‍y se karmoan ka vidhan kiya hai, ved mean sh‍varg adi ki kamana se jo yogadi karmoan ka vidhan kiya gaya hai, vah unh‍hian manushh‍yoan ko apane jal mean phansata hai, jinaka man bhogoan mean asakh‍t hai. vash‍tav mean in kamanaoan se door rahakar paramatma ko hi praph‍t karane ka prayath‍n kare. (bhagavath‍prapti ke liye hi karm kare, kshudr bhogoan ke liye nahian) jab man nith‍y karmoanan ke anushthan se rag adi doshoan ko door karake darpan ki bhaanti sh‍vachh‍chh evan diptimanh ho jata hai, tab vah dyutimanh (sadasadh vivek ke prakash se yukh‍t) aur nith‍y sukh ka abhilashi (mumukshu) hokar nirvan bhav se dharm mean pravrith‍t hota hai evan karmamarg se atit tatha kamanaoan se rahit parabrahm paramath‍ma ka sakshath‍kar kar leta hai. brahma ji ne man aur karm in donoan ke sahit praja ki srishti ki hai; at: ye donoan lokasevit sanh‍margaroop hai. karm do prakar ka dekha gaya hai- ek sanatan aur doosara vinashashil, (moksh ka hetubhoot karm sanatan hai aur nashh‍var bhogoan ki prapti karane vala nashavan hai) man ke dvara kiye jane vale phal ki ichh‍chha ka th‍yag hi karmoan ko sanatan banane aur unake dvara parabrahm ki prapti karane mean karan hai, doosara kuchh nahian. jab rat bit jati hai aur anh‍dhakar ka avaran hat jata hai, us samay jaise chalane mean pravrith‍t karane vala netr apane taijas sh‍varoop se yukh‍t ho rash‍tean mean p de hue th‍yag ne yogh‍y k aaute adi ko dekhate hai, usi prakar buddhi bhi mo ka parda hat jane par jnan ke prakash se yukh‍t ho th‍yagane yogh‍y ashubh karm ko dekhati hai.

manushh‍y jab jan lete haian ki rash‍te mean sarp hai, kushoan ke kaante haian aur kuean haian, tab unase bachakar nikalate haian. jo nahi janate haian, aise kitane hi purush unh‍hian par gir p date haian. at: jnan ka jo vishisht phal hai, use tum prath‍yaksh dekh lo. vidhipoorvak samh‍poorn manh‍troan ka uchh‍charan, vedokh‍t vidhan ke anusar yajnoan ka anushthan, yathayogh‍y dakshina, anh‍n ka dan aur man ki ekagrata in paanch aango se samh‍panh‍n hone par hi yajn-karm ka poora-poora phal praph‍t hota hai, aisa vidvan purush kahate haian. vedoan ka kahana hai ki karm trigunath‍mak hote haian arthat sattvik, rajas aur tamas bhed se tin prakar ke hi hote haian; isiliye manh‍tr bhi sattvik adi bhed se tin prakar ke hi hote haian; kh‍yoanki manh‍trochh‍charanapoorvak hi karm ka anushthan kiya jata hai. isi tarah un karmoan ki vidhi, vidhey (unake liye kiya jane vala kary), man ke dvara abhisht phal ki siddhi aur usaka bhokh‍ta dehabhimani jiv- ye sabhi tin-tin prakar ke hote haian. shabh‍d, roop, pavitr ras, sukhad sh‍parsh aur sunh‍dar ganh‍dh ye hi karmoan ke phal hai; kiantu is sharir mean sthit hua manushh‍y in phaloan ko praph‍t karane mean samarth nahian hai. karmoan ke phal ki prapti jo unaka phal bhogane ke liye praph‍t sharir mean hoti hai, vah daivadhin hai. jiv sharir se jo-jo ashubh ya shubh karm karata hai, sharir se yukh‍t hua hi usake phaloan ko bhogata hai; kh‍yoanki sharir hi sukh aur du:kh bhogane ka sh‍than hai.
