gram mean rahane par vahaan ke stri–putr adi vishayoan mean jo asakti hoti hai, yah jiv ko baandhane vali rassi ke saman hai. punhyatma purush hi ise katakar nikal pate haian. papi purush ise kat pate haian. jo manushhy man, vani aur shariraroopi sadhanoan dvara praniyoan ki hiansa nahian karata, usaki bhi jivan aur arth ka nash karane vale hiansak prani hiansa nahian karate haian. saty ke bina koee bhi manushhy samane ate hue mrityu ki sena ka kabhi samana nahian kar sakata, isaliye asathy ko tyag dena chahiye. kyoan ki amritattv saty mean hi sthit hai. at: manushhy ko saty vrat ka acharan karana chahiye. sathyayog mean tatpar rahana aur shastr ki batoan ko saty manakar shraddhapoorvak sada man aur indriyoan ka sanyam karana chahiye. is prakar saty ke dvara hi manushhy mrityu par vijay pa sakata hai. amrit aur mrityu donoan is sharir mean hi sthit haian. manushhy moh se mrityu ko aur saty se amrit ko prapht hota hai. at: ab maian hiansa se door rahakar sathy ki khoj karooanga, kam aur krodh ko hriday se nikalakar dukh aur sukh mean saman bhav rakhooanga tatha sabake liye kalyanakari banakar devataoan ke saman mrityu ke bhay se mukht ho jaooanga. maian nivriti parayan hokar shantimay yajn mean tatpar rahooanga, man aur indriyoan ko vash mean rakhakar brahmayajn (ved–shastroan ke svadhhyay) mean lag laooanga aur munivriti se rahooanga. uthtarayan ke marg se jane ke liye maian jap aur svadhhyay vagyajn, dhhyanaroop manoyajn aur agnihotr evan gurushushrooshadiroop karmayajn ka anushhthan karooanga. mere-jaisa vidvan purush nashhvar phal dene vale hiansayukht pashuyajn aur pishachoan ke saman apane sharir ke hi rakht–maans dvara kiye jane vale tamas yajnoan ka anushhthan kaise kar sakata hai? jisaki vani aur man donoan sada bhali–bhaanti ekagr rahate haian tatha jo tyag, tapasya aur saty se sampann hota hai, vah nishhchay hi sab kuchh prapht kar sakata hai. sansar mean vidya (jnan)– ke saman koee netr nahian hai, saty ke saman koee tap nahian hai, asakti evan krodh ke saman koee du:kh nahian hai aur tyag ke saman koee sukh nahian hai. maian santanarahit hone par bhi paramatma mean hi paramatma dvara utpann hua hooan, paramatma mean hi sthit hooan. age bhi athma mean hi lin hoooanga. santan mujhe par nahian utaregi. paramatma ke sath ekata tatha samata, satyabhashan, sadachar, brahmanishhtha, danhd ka parityag (ahiansa), saralata tatha sab prakar ke sakam karmoan se uparati-inake saman brahman ke liye doosara koee dhan nahian hai. brahman dev pitaji, jab ap ek din mar hi jayange to apako is dhan se khya kam hai tatha stri adi se apka kaun–sa prayojan siddh hone vala hai? ap sochiye to sahi, apake pita aur pitamah kahaan chale gaye? bhishhm ji kahate haian- nareshhvar! putr ka yah vachan sunakar pita ne jaise saty–dharm ka anushhthan kiya tha, usi prakar tum bhi saty–dharm mean tatpar rahakar yathayoghy bartav karo. is prakar shrimahabharat shantiparv ke antargat mokshadharmaparv mean pita aur putr ke sanvad ka kathan vishayak ek sau pachahataravaan adhhyay poora hua.
