‘jo apane pad se gira diye jane ke karan asantushh‍t hoan, apamanit kiye gaye hoan, jo sh‍vayan raja se purash‍krit hokar doosaroan ke dvara kalank lagaye jane ke karan us adar se vanchit kar diye gaye hoan, jo kshin, lobhi, krodhi, bhayabhit aur dhokhe mean dale gaye hoan, jo mahath‍vapoorn pad pana chahate hoan, jinh‍hean sataya gaya ho, jo kisi raja par ane vale sankat samooh ki pratiksha kar rahe hoan, chhipe rahate hoan aur man mean kapatabhav rakhate hoan, ve sabhi sevak shatruoan ka kam banane vale hote haian. jab maian apane pad se bhrashh‍t aur apamanit ho gaya, tab pun: ap mujh par kaise vishh‍vas kar sakeange?

athava maian hi kaise apake pas rah sakooanga? ‘apane yogh‍y samajhakar mujhe apanaya aur manh‍tri ke pad par bithakar meri pratiksha li. isake bad apani ki huee pratijna ko to dakar mera apaman kiya. ‘pahale bhari sabha mean shilavan kahakar jisaka parichay diya gaya ho, pratijna ki raksha karane vale purush ko usaka dosh nahian batana chahiye. ‘jab maian is prakar yahaan apamanit ho gaya to ab ap par mera vishh‍vas n hoga aur ap bhi mujh par vishh‍vas nahian kar sakeange. aisi dasha mean apase mujhe sada bhay bana rahega. ‘ap mujh par sandeh kareange aur maian apase darata rahooanga, idhar paraye dosh dhooandhane vale tanik bhi sh‍neh nahian hai tatha inh‍hean santushh‍t rakhana bhi mere liye ath‍yanh‍t kathin hai.

sath hi yah manh‍tri ka karm bhi anek prakar ke chhal-kapat se bhara hua hai. ‘prem ka banh‍dhan b di kathinaee se tootata hai, par jab vah ek bar toot jata hai, tab b di kathinaee se ju d pata hai. jo prem baranbar tootata aur ju data rahata hai, usamean sh‍neh nahian hota. ‘aisa manushh‍y koee ek hi hota hai, jo apane ya doosare ke hit mean rat n rahakar sh‍vami ke hi hit mean sanlagh‍n dikhayi deta ho; kh‍yoanki apane kary ki apeksha rakhakar sh‍varth sadhan udeshh‍y lekar prem karane vale to bahut hote haian, parantu shuddhabhav se sh‍neh rakhane vale manushh‍y ath‍yanh‍t durlabh haian. ‘yogh‍y manushh‍y ko pahachanana rajaoan ke liye ath‍yanh‍t dushh‍kar hai; kh‍yoanki unaka chit chanchal hota hai, saik doan mean se koee ek aisa milata hai, jo sab prakar se suyogh‍y hota hua bhi sandeh se pare ho. ‘manushh‍y ke uth‍karsh aur apakarsh (unh‍nati aur avanati) akash‍mat hote haian, kisi ka bhala karake bura karana aur use mahath‍v dekar niche girana, yah sab ochhi buddhi ka parinam hai’. is prakar dharm, arth, kam aur yuktiyoan se yukh‍t sanh‍th‍vanapoorn vachan kahakar siyar ne bagh raja ko prasanh‍n kar liya aur usaki anum‍ti lekar vah van mean chala gaya. vah b da buddhiman tha; at: sher ki anunay-vinay n manakar mrith‍yuparyanh‍t nirahar rahane ka vrat le ek sh‍than par baith gaya aur anh‍t mean sharir th‍yagakar sh‍vargadham mean ja pahuancha.
