devaraj! raja apane hi adamiyoan ke vishay mean yah prachar kar dete haian ki ‘ye log dosh se dooshit ho gaye hai; atah mainean in dushtoan ko rajy se bahar nikal diya hai. ye doosare desh mean chale gaye haian. aisa karake unhean vah shatruoan ke rajyoan ke aur nagaroan ka bhed lene se kary mean samagri chhin lete haian; parantu guptaroop se unhean prachur dhan arpit karake unake sath kuchh any atmiy janoan ko bhi laga dete haian. isi tarah anyany shastrajn shastriy vidhi ke jnata sushikshit tatha bhashy katha visharad vidvanoan ko vastra bhooshanoan se alankrit karake unake dvara shatruoan par kritya ka prayog karave.

indr ne poochha- dvijashreshth! dusht ke kaun kaun se lakshan hai? maian dusht ko kaise pahachanooan? mere is prashn ka mujhe uttar dijiye. brihaspati ji ne kaha- devaraj! jo paroksh mean kisi vyakti ke dosh-hi batata hai, usake sadgunoan mean bhi dosharopan karata rahata hai aur yadi doosare log usake gunoan ka varnan karate haian to jo muanh pherakar chup baith jata hai, vahi dusht mana jata hai. chup baithane par bhi us vyakti ki dushtata ko is prakar jana ja sakata hai. niahshvas chho dane ka koee karan n hone par bhi jo kisi ke gunoan ka varnan hote samay lanbi-lanbi saans chho de, oth chabaye aur sir hilaye, vah dusht hai. jo baranbar akar sansarg sthapit karata hai, door jane par dosh batata hai, koee kary karane ki pratijna karake bhi akhan se ojhal hone par us kary ko nahian karata hai aur akhan ke samane hone par bhi koee batachit nahian karata, usake man mean dushtata bhari hai, aisa janana chahiye. jo kahian se akar sath nahian, alag baithakar khata hai aur kahata hai, aj ka jaisa bhojan chahiye, vaisa nahian bana hai (vah bhi dusht hai ).

is prakar baithane, sonee aur chalane-phirane adi mean dusht vyakti ke dushtata poorn bhav vishesh roop se dekhe jatean hai. yadi mitr ke pi dit hone par kisi ko svayan bhi pi da hoti ho aur mitr ke prasann rahane par usake man mean bhi prasannata chhayi rahati ho to yahi mitr ke lakshan hai. isake viparit jo kisi ko pi dit dekhakar prasann hota aur prasann dekhakar pida़ ka anubhav karata hai to samajhana chahiye ki yah shatru ke lakshan haian.

deveshvar! is prakar jo manushyoan ke lakshan bataye gaye haian, unako samajhana chahiye. dusht purushoan ka svabhav atyant prabal hota hai. surashreshth! deveshvar! shastr ke siddhant ka yathavath rooph se vichar karake ye mainean tum se dusht purush ki pahachan karane vale lakshan bataye haian. bhishm ji kahate hai- yudhishthir! shatruoan ke sanhar mean tatpar rahane vale shatrunashak indr ne brihaspati ji ka vah yatharth vachan sunakar vaisa hi kiya. unhoanne upayukt samay par vijay ke liye yatra ki aur samast shatruoan ko apane adhin kar liya.

is prakar shrimahabharat shantiparv ke antargat rajadharmanushasanaparvan mean indr aur brihaspati ka sanvadavishayak ek sau tinavaan adhyay poora hua.
