us sthan par shatruoan ke akraman ko rokane ke liye suvidha honi chahiye. yuddhakushal purush sena ki chhavani dalane ke liye khule maidan ki apeksha anek gunoan ke karan jangal ke nikatavartian sthan ko adhik labhadayak manate haian. us van ke samip hi sena ka p dav dalana chahiye. vahaan vyooh nirman karane ke liye rath aur vahanoan se utarana tatha paidal sainikoan ko chhipakar rakhana sambhav haian. vahaan rahakar shatruoan ke prahar ka javab diya ja sakata haian aur apatti ke samay chhip jane ka bhi subhita rahata hai. yoddhaoan ko chahiye ki ve saptarshianyoan ko pichhe rakhakar parvat ki tarah avichal bhav se yuddh karean. is vidhi se akraman karane vala raja durjay shatruoan ko bhi jitane ki asha kar sakata hai. jis or vayu, jis or soory aur jis or shu़kr hoan, usi or prishthabhag rakhakar yuddh karane se vijay prapt hoti hai.

yudhishthir! yadi ye tinoan bhinn-bhinn dishaoe mean hoan to inamean pahala-pahala shreshth hai arthath vayu ko pichhe rakhakar shesh do ko samane rakhate hue bhi yuddh kiya ja sakata hai. ghu dasavar sena ke liye yuddhakushal purush usi bhoomi ki prashansa karate haian, jisamean kich d, pani, baandh aur dhele n hoan. rath sena ke liye vah bhoomi achchhi mani gayi hai, jahaan kich d aur gaddhe n hoan. jis bhoomi mean nate vriksh, bahut-se ghas-phoos aur jalashay hoan, vah gaja rohi yoddhaoan ke liye achchhi mani gayi haian. jo bhoomi atyant durgam, adhik ghas-phoosavali, baans aur beantoan se bhari huee tatha parvat evan upavanoan se yukt ho, vah paidal senaoan ke yogy hoti hai. bharatanandan! jis sena mean paidaloan ki sankhya bahut adhik ho, vah majaboot hoti hai. jisamean rathoan aur ghoan doan ki sankhya badhi huee ho, vah sena achchhe dinoan mean (jabaki varsha n hoti ho) achchhi mani jati hai. barasat mean vahi sena shreshth samajhi jati hai, jisamean paidaloan aur hathi savaroan ki sankhya adhik ho. in gunoan ka vichar karake desh aur kal ko drishti mean rakhate hue sena ka sanchalan karana chahiye. jo in sab batoan par vichar karake shubh tithi aur shreshth nakshatr se yukt hokar shatru par chadhaee karata hai, vah sena ka thik dhang se sanchalan karake sada hi vijay labh karata hai. jo log so rahe hoan, pyase hoan, thak gaye hoan athava idhar-udhar bhag rahean hoan, un par aghat n kare.

shastr aur kavach utar dene ke bad, yuddh sthal se prasthan karate samay, ghoomate-phirate samay aur khane-pine ke avasar par kisi ko n mare. isi prakar jo bahut ghabaraye hue hoan, pagal ho gaye hoan, ghayal hoan, durbal ho gaye hoan, lekhan ka kary karate hoan, pi da se santapt hoan, bahar ghoom rahe hoan, door se saman lakar logoan ke nikat pahuanchane ka kam karate hoan athava chhavani ki or bhage ja rahe hoan, un par bhi prahar n kare. jo parampara se prapt hue raj dvar par raksha adi seva ka kary karate hoan athava jo raj sevak mantri adi ke dvar par pahara dete hoan tatha kisi yuth ke adhipati hoan, unako bhi nahian marana chahiye. jo shatru ki sena ko chhinn -bhinn kar dalate haian aur apani titar-bitar huee sena ko sangathit karake dridhatapoorvak sthapit karane ki shakti rakhate haian, aise logoan ko raja apane saman hi bhojan-pan ki suvidha dekar sammanit kare aur unhean duguna vetan de. sena mean kuchh logoan ko das-das sainikoan ka nayak banave, kuchh ko sau ka tatha kisi pramukh aur alasy rahit vir ko ek hajar yoddhaoan ka adhyaksh niyukt kare.
